Thanks for the update on cafe foto. I'm not stuck on the place. Just a gringo who travels solo, speaks no Portuguese and doesn't know his way around town. Foto felt safe, didn't want to get too far off the beaten path and find myself in a jam.

even though the 29th and 30th are tues and wed nights, they should have some good talent.

1. my love, the boate across from the kilt, down augusta from your hotel and and off a side street a short distance, a taxi will run ya about $r10.

no entrance fee to get in, and at times some really nice garotas.

a drink for you, about $r15, for the garota, $r30.

if you want to leave with a girl, total cost about $r90 to get her out, and that includes your and her drink.

you negotiate with the garota for her fee, normally from a couple hours to all night, from $r150 to $r250, depending on chemestry, your negotiating skills, etc

she does not have to return to the club after working.

a really cool waiter named hugo is normally there. he's always treated me well, helped me with girls, never an upcharge, good guy.

2. the kilt, across from my love.

$r60 entrance fee, includes a drink, maybe 2.

sometimes has some pretty nice quality.

i believe it'll cost ya about $r100 or so total to get her out of the club and then again negotiate with the garota.

3. casarao, up augusta towards paulista from the previous 2 boates.

entrance fee $r10, includes 2 drinks.

be aware, a garotas drink will cost you about $r30-50 depending on her drink.

this place at times has some pretty good quality and they, the staff, have been very honest, unlike other augusta clubs.

now, these places aren't going to have the elegance of say a cafe photo, but you save muito $$ and you can find some gems.

the kilt will be the most elegant of the 3 boates i outlined above.

There are different prices. It's R$70 for 1/2h or 110R$ for 1h. However if you are a member of the GP Guia or FSD (and you intend to post a review) it's still R$70 for 1/2hbut R$100 for a full hour.

Not far from the Morumbi Shopping Center.

In the same district there's also the Privê Jaceru (but I don't recommend it. The last time I was there the rooms were filthy) and there's the clinic Novo Cancioneiro (the former Privê do Hector 1).

Privê Morumbi is still the best option in that district.

Cafe LaBomba? What the heck is this? Do you mean Bomboa? It's quite a distance from Morumbi because it's located in Pinheiros (Rua Capote Valente). I've not visit that joint for a long time but it's quite (or it was) quite good. I don't attend Cafe Photo because it's a kind of tourist trap.

I walked in and the manager greeted me. His name is Fernando. Fernando told me to sit down and he went and got the girls. One after one each girl came out from the back room, walked over to me and said "Tudo Bem. I'm ____" and kissed me on the cheek then turned and left the room. I think five or 6 girls walked out. They were below Termas quality but not bad. Fernando asked which one I liked. I couldn't decide right away. No one blew me away. I was going to ask Fernando to have them come out again. He said I have 4 more and pointed upstairs and made a fucking motion. I was thinking what am I supposed to do? I had to go back to Espaco Morumbi again tonight. The deal is just so good I could not pass it up. Fernando asked me to sit down and he paraded the girls by me again.
