Overall I was extremely happy with performance (both hers and mine LOL). I now had no chee / mojo, but I decided to head down to the Malioboro club which just opened at 8 pm. I am sorry, but I do not remember the prices they were asking. It was very cheap compared to the Malio option I just left- but you get what you pay for. These places are seedy and not for the novice monger.

I next hit Travel Hotel (11 pm) and the place was hoppin- followed by Hotel Classic, also hoppin. I had been traveling all day from Pattaya / BKK / Jakarta. I took care my needs with the Malio massage girl and the rest of this day was more for recon. I wanted to determine how to spend my next two evening here. Both Travel and Classic looked like they had many of my types at about 1/2 the price of Malioboro. But no question---- Malioboro had the most stunners with huge racks and this is what I look for.

I spent Friday afternoon at Hotel Illigels spa. This is luxury at it's finest. They have sauna room, steam room, oxygen room, three pools different temps, beautiful massage rooms. I think the entrance fee was 150000. The massage rooms put the Malio rooms to shame. I had a 90 minute oil rub by a 30 something. I was a little disappointed they did not offer me to "select" my masseuse, but I really had no intention on losing my chee this early. I was directed by a host to the massage room where their choice was standing at the door. Maybe they would have allowed me to change masseuses had I pressed it. But not important. I wanted to select something later from Travel or Classic for take out. At the end of the massage my gal became very irritated that I would not take her up on the HJ / full sex she was offering. She just was not my type. I gave her a 100,000 tip for a good rub.

Just a few blocks up the street from Illigels is a street with 3-5 brothels / massage. One of them is called Berlin and another something like Katrina. I checked these out but they were all pretty disgusting. Much like the Sariayu / Royal options.

I then walked to Hotel Travel checking out Lokisaru on the way. I couldn't find anything at Lakisaru except a "Cherry's" massage which had more of the same low end stuff. There was also a hotel there that had a huge KTV karioke set up. I did see some attractive girls, but singing in a room is not my things.

At Travel hotel I immediately found what I was looking for. It was early (6 pm), but I wanted to grab someone to wife up with and utilize my nice room at the Harris Vertu. Cost for overnight take out was 2,400,000. I made a good selection. She ended up staying until 11 am the next morning.

Based on all the pessimistic reports of crackdowns, I was considering changing my week in Jakarta planned for early February. But your excellent reporting has me stoked.

She was pretty, young and built- but she was not one of the 4 absolutely gorgeous stunners I had seen prior. Oh well.

The next morning was a Sunday and traffice was minimal. It took less than an hour to get to the airport. If you need to catch a flight be sure to give yourself plenty of time if you travel on a Monday-Friday.

"The Short Answer" Jakarta is fun, but for quality it is not cheap. I am very familiar with Thailand, Philippines and Colombia. I really do not know if I can justify making a trip there specifically to monger. I may choose another 3-5 days when I can catch a cheap flight directly into Clark again, but I doubt I would make it a primary destination.

Smoothy- thank you so much for sharing your Hotel Harris Vertu. It was a perfect hotel for the Northern Jakarta point and shoot options I hit. I am not a late night clubbing type of guy so CJs and Block M did not attract me. Maybe I could get into that if I had had more time. I know Medellin best these days but have to say I don't think there is anyplace anymore where one can find quality on the cheap (like one could 15 - 20 years ago). Back in the early 2000's I was pulling stunning Brazilians in Rio for $25 who made me feel like I was their long lost sailor. Returning to Asia for the fist time in a long time early next year and going to hit Manila, Angeles, Siem Reap, Pattaya, Kuala Lampur, Jakarta, Sydney and New Zealand. Yes some of those locations are not for mongering, but I do want to see the world as well. Hope I do as good a job as you contributing when I'm done. But in any case you say "Jakarta is fun, but for quality it is not cheap". Where these days can you find quality on the cheap? As for me, I'm spending thousands just on airfare and lodging, I'm going to look for the best quality I can find in every location I visit and not try to save a few bucks on the girls. It's too bad about Alexis. That was the other super high-end joint in Jakarta with an amazing selection of young, sexy Indo girls. I really liked that place cause of the girls. I also prefer Thailand over the Philippines. In my opinion, Bangkok wins the award for best city in the world for mongering. Then again, I've never been to Medellin which I hear is great. It was fun, the girls were very pretty and all-in-all it was really cheap. However, the service was least impressive of all the places I've mongered at. The girls were (in general) polite and respectful (with one exception) albeit a bit distant. No kissing, covered BJ, and a general lack of oral contact. There were none I would repeat with. The girls in the DR were a bit more active in bed, willing to get nasty, but also quick to ask for a "propina". Cheap fun, but I always felt a higher degree of uncertainty in the DR.

Thailand offers many great options, modest to cheap ST, reasonable safety for the visitor and good service from the girls. But, at the end of the day it comes down to personal taste.
