I've passed the old location many times recently and is now closed but it may have reopened at another location. The set up was a bar with lots of sofas. The girls were hot but WAYYY too expensive. The drinks were way over priced, you had to pay a fine to take the girl out of the club, basically an over priced tourist trap. I confess I let the little head take over one night and took a girl out of there. I got lucky because she stayed most of the night and the sex was over the top. But somehow these stories about blowing scopolamin in peoples faces or hiding it in the mouth (I don't even see how this shall be possible without poisoning oneself) sound too fancy for me to be true (maybe there was a case like this but I wouldn't call it a real danger).

Besides that I assume that scopalomin is more used by professionals or in bars. That girl on tinder has an account, you have her number, people (probably) saw you at some café with her. So if you wake up in your hotel and everything is gone it shouldn't be too hard to find that person.

I will definitely see this as an advice and try to be careful but I think especially tinder dates are more safe than other ways of having sex in Colombia. I know some people there, some of my friends have been there for a while. They fucked a lot and never had bad experiences with women.

Stay at the Ibis Museo which is walking distance to Santa Fe and convenient to casas in Chapinero and the North area-- Also many nice Airbnb in the area.

I was thinking that maybe a map is not the best UI to search for mongering activities, maybe a table is better. Especially on mobile. Where you can filter by price, etc.

But I have been pretty busy lately so I haven't invested much time on the site. I also have received less than 6 k page hits in 2 months. I don't know how many of those 6 k visits are unique since I didn't use google analytics or any tracking, just a manual counter I programmed myself.

So I'm wondering if maybe it's a better idea to just remove and delete the project. I also will run out of free hosting soon, but I think it's more troublesome for me to add a payment / donations system than just paying 5 USD monthly.

It's well documented that Tinder is the preferred platform for groups which drug and rob guys looking for hookups.

Everyone on Tinder is anonymous. The only thing you know about anyone you match with is what they have chosen to reveal to you. So what if you have their number. You can buy a phone for a few dollars, the number isn't registered to anyone. If your building has security cameras, they might capture some useful images of the girl. However, if you're expecting the Colombian National Police to be CSI in tracking down some girl who robbed a gringo, you're grossly overestimating their resources and interest.

Anyway I think that tinder is a pretty good way for attractive gringos having sex in Colombia. I've read some detailled reports of people who were drugged on tinder dates and all these guys were pretty careless. Obviously just hoping that some sexy young and sexy girl would come to their home right away just to have sex.

If you're aware of this problem and acting with some common sense I'm pretty sure that you can minimize the risk very much. Get the girls whatsapp and instagram, have a conversation with and don't just ask her to come over and see how she reacts in conversation. Call her an Uber to pick her up at her adress. Don't let her come to your place right away and meet outside instead. (but near to your place so when you think its fine you can just walk to your place with her).

I don't want to blow this up too much but one more thing about scopolamin and tinder:

In these reports I read it was very obvious that these girls wanted to meet as early as possible and that also everything was about sex, also sending sexy pictures and stuff. It might be true that some colombian girls are really into this picture sending and also are not hard to convince to come to your place. But from the matches I had now. And there are many. I never had a girl who wanted to send me pictures (in fact I asked some and they didn't send pictures at all or just 1 or 2 very normal pictures and not sexy one), who asked for meeting up or made any sexual inklings.

Most of them didn't even contacted me initially. I still have at least 30 matches with girls which I didn't texted and they also didn't text me. And you can see from my profile picture right away that I'm gringo. Someone whos doing this in order to scam gringos would at least say "Hi" after a match or not?

Which I also noticed: I always ask the girls for their whatsapp and for sure you can easily get a number in Colombia and use this to scam people. But how many scammers will make huge efforts in for example in posting whatsapp status. The majority of girls who gave me their number are posting stuff regularly so you see its real.

Maybe there are also more sharp practices scammers, I don't know. But I think by just having a critical look at the profile and wait a little bit before messaging and meeting up you can at least minimize risks by this. Just get tinder passport and match with them maybe 2 weeks before your flight.

Anyway: I will meet up with these girls (or at least most of them) when I'm there. And I will let you know if I was drugged and robbed or not.
