I have been to a number of high end hotels in Dubai including the Fairmont, the Shangri-La and the Grovesnor House and none of them has blinked an eye or even asked for the passport of my accompanying friend. I think if you go to hotels that are known for their WG guests you will have to respond to requests from the front desk. Just my guess.

Yes, I'm paranoid, but then again, I prefer to keep my interactions with LE at zero. Example from recent events: throwing a wg out of your hotel window will draw the attention of LE. The courts will find you innocent of THAT charge, not enough evidence, but will find you guilty of alcohol consumption and having sex outside marriage.

Besides the dxb thread, there's also the ROD (reports of distinction) thread. I'd suggest some of the earliest pages (as in LAST>>) : yes, they're old, but think they provide a good FAQ. Some of the venues have changed (RIP Cyclone) , and prices have moved upwards, but the general info there does stand the test of time. There are venue maps available with a bit of reading / searching. Investing a couple hours reading will be very worthwhile.

My first trip to dxb, I did stay at a hotel where my guests were refused entry to the elevator. Perhaps it was the fact that guests was plural. Whatever, it was a definite not possible, and even discussing it with the front desk manager was no help. The funny thing was (POST incident) was the next day, when I was waiting for my car to be brought around by the valet. Have been to all those and more and all are fine. If you go sleazier hotel you could be asked but the Novotel an Ibis always ask for example. Many of the Rotanas have never asked me but also if go early not at 3am that helps

I am gutted that I never found this site a year ago! Any not sure if I have puit this in the right forum but here goes anyway! I am due to arrive in Dubai for a short stay overnight in fact, I have been to Snakes a couple of times, although I met some "nice" girls never really seemed that good, I moved to the York just to try it out met a lovely african girl called lili who keeps in touch, but as I am likely not to be coming back this way again I wanted to go out with a quality bang so to speak. I have the same itch and like you only found thai girls at (legit) massage parlors. So I'm working my way from there.

After 2-3 sessions with this girl, I've invited her for lunch on her day off and we've spent the day together with one her friend.

We had lunch in a Thai / Korean / Japanese restaurant, saw a couple of nice Thai there.

Most of these girls only have one day off: you will find them in the shopping malls and having lunch and dinner at Thai places (check Lemon Grass in the various malls around lunch and dinner time).

I admit I was looking to get laid with a nice Thai girl here in DXB, but it happens this girl is VERY smart and confident and I would rather hangout with her (and her friends.) at this point.

Well I figured as I have spent the last few hours reading the forums I had better contribute something back! So this is what I found in the York,
