In support of LIAB and Phordphan's comments, Lieutenant Uno's' abrupt dismissal of the smaller clubs does a disservice to us all, and especially any newbies contemplating a visit to La Zona. I've NEVER had a problem in Las Chevalas or Tropical Bar, and in fact, enjoyed some excellent, more memorable sessions in these places. And one of the very best TO experiences I've ever had in all of Mexico was with a true MILFY little sweetheart I pulled out of the Playboy Club.
As always, don't act a drunken fool while down there, and exercise some damn common sense as a guest in another country.
Guys, you're missing half the fun of Tijuana if you only stop by HK and Adelitas.

If one has unique taste and prefers obese, stupid, old, ugly, hairy, smelly women and lying, cheating, greedy, rude meseros in filthy, run down dive bars with grimy furniture, why should anyone stop him. Let them stay away and keep their foul body odor away from Hong Kong.
The old women at these dive bars are so ugly, they look like freaks. They are just insults to anyone with good taste. It's a joke how they can sell any drinks to any guys. It's a waste of time and money to sit around looking at ugly, rude, stupid women. But some guys think it's smart to do it, hehehe.
Some of these guys are probably bar touts, trying to lure gringos into dive bar so they can be fleeced, robbed and infected with Mexico's incurable diseases.
El Capitan happens to speak Spanish lovingly so lots of beautiful HK chicas are in love with him, to the jealousy of dumb losers.

Those folks get taken advantage of all over LZ, in bars of all sizes.

Thanks again.[/QUOTE]I don't think that Hotel Mini has Wifi. But the last time I stayed overnight at the Mini was like 3 or 4 years ago, so things may have changed.
For instance, when I last stayed at the Mini, the overnight rooms cost only 200 pesos and they charged joiner fees of 50 pesos for each chica after your first.
A poster to this board recently reported that the Mini is currently not charging any fees for extra chicas (albeit that poster is somewhat unreliable with much of the information he posts). Newly renovated hotels (almost) next door and across the alley from Hotel Mini most likely have Wifi.
Hotel Leyva has Wifi, but the signal strength varies greatly from room to room. The same could be said (from my past experiences) for Cascades, Hacienda de Santiago, and Hotel Rizo de Oro (located above Bar Tropical).
Signal strengths seem to be improving in LZ, although not at HDS.
I stayed in a room on the top (5th) floor of HDS for three nights in early February. I was picking up a lot of (mostly weak) WIFI signals from about a dozen sources other than HDS.
Over half of the signals were from sources I could identify (like Hotel Coahuila above Adelitas, Rizo de Oro, and numerous signals from Cascades. Although the signals were too weak to use from the 5th floor of HDS, I expect the signals were now very strong at the host hotels, since these other hotels were all more than a block away from HDS.

One of my lifetime mongering goals is to do at least one hooker from every bar in Zona Norte, so far I've been successful at every bar except Playboy. Just can't find something to my liking, but I can understand how many men would enjoy it. I'll be there this week and will certainly vist Playboy and maybe check one thing off my bucket list. I'm sure I'll spend far more time in HK where half the girls are of my liking.
Last Friday Golden Palace had a very good-looking young girl out front trying to lure in the dicks.
Playboy's women look old, skanky, some toothless. They look scary, but some guys like their gum jobs. Hehe.
I don't have time to waste. So I would stick my head in to check them out. If I don't see any girls I like, I would bail in 30 seconds.

Planning my 3rd trip down to the Zona with my buddy and we're planning to stay at Cascadas from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning. I've paid for the lots near the border and end up spending $24-30 a day to park.
1) Any cheaper parking options you could recommend? Maybe getting an uber from some other lot over to the border? I don't want to drive across.
2) Should I be tipping these ladies over and above the $80 fee? I didn't tip the first time and feel bad about it because she put in a much better performance than other HK girl I dealt with. I'll post in HK's section about my experiences there.
3) Will Adelitas chicas go up to Cascadas?
Bottom line is I had a great experience back in October at HK with "Leah," who had the Spanish equivalent of "Only God can judge me" tattooed across her shoulder blades. I saw her dancing on stage and spontaneously said to myself "Jesus Christ. " A guy and his girlfriend grabbed her up when she got offstage, but I found her again closer to 4 AM on a Saturday morning. Fantastic body like a go go dancer and very pretty face. I'd rate her a solid 8-8. 5 - well beyond my high expectations. Decent enough English and a really sweet girl. I bought her a drink and we chatted as she gave me a little lap dance and encouraged me to feel her up. She made me feel very at ease and comfortable given that it was my first time and I was visiting solo. She said she had two kids, but I think that's physically impossible based on her flawless physique. $80. No kissing, but she made that clear before we went upstairs, and she wasn't thrilled when I tried FIV, so I backed off, but on the whole she was otherwise very fun, especially compared to the colder chica I dealt with about a month ago (didn't get her name, unfortunately). I need to go for a personality / fun match over trying to find the hottest chica in there (although with Leah I had a great mix of both, but I couldn't find her again last time). Lesson learned. The next day I grabbed a blond chica from the alley and she was very sweet. I paid $20 for a BJ only and tipped her $5 and paid $5 for the room since I had already checked out of Cascadas. Also a nice girl, but no English or real interaction. I'll do a better job next time of getting names and more details.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]HDS = Hacienda de Santiago. HDS is a 5 story (48-room) hotel with gold-painted Domes on its roof. Located on the NW Corner of Coahuila Ave. And Revolution (exactly one block east of Adelitas' clothing store).
Double rooms cost 585 pesos (about $33) on Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. No extra chica joiner fees. Double rooms cost around 140 pesos less Monday through Thursday nights.
Single rooms at Hacienda de Santiago are around 60 p to 80 p less than doubles. Weekly rates are much less than their daily rates. Most, but not all rooms at HDS have kitchenettes. Rooms come with free parking.
The hotel above Bar Maliqueria (on the SW corner of Constitution and the alley) was newly renovated and I believe it is called the Ibiza Hotel.
