Let's face it - it is a true market economy. Supply and demand will determine the price for the product in question. Fact is we are competing heavily now with the japanese and koreans who pay large amounts - 5000+pesos is not uncommon - so who do you think the girls will favor? Only a matter of time before the japanese and koreans start to gravitate towards cheaper AC and the same thing will happen there. Think outside the square and look for girls in the malls etc - takes a bit more effort but they are there and a great GFE can be found with a little patience. And lets face it, 2000 or 3000 pesos for an all night encounter is not that expensive if the girl is worth it. Back in Oz you pay that just for a few drinks trying to chat up a girl without any promise of more goodies to come!
IMHO patience is the answer and there are so many good looking girls you can't miss out so whats an extra $20 if it means a great night?

Most of the time the gals ask for much more than the actual price on whatever they are buying. The longer you stay the better you are at giving the right amount. A general rule is give half of what they want and it seems like they always make that amount work. You will here stories of big money here so take what you here with a grain of salt. Remember, they will always try for more its just part of life here. When they know in there mind you are the one then they will start helping your wallet. Like many here say, its, only 1 or two dollars, yes thats right but what about when its bigger money. The longer you stay the better you are on knowing whats up with prices.

I was reading a thread on PI at Night.com regarding the increased bf prices at EDSA and Burgos - anyone here know about this? The thread stated that barfines are now up at the 3000 peso mark which seems to be a steep hike. Is this the influence of the Japanese and Koreans? Or just inflation catching up like everywhere else?

I here all the time say you ruin things for the rest, and guys ay this to each other. Live the way you want andpay what you want who cares. What I call good service the other guy will say its just ok. There are no set prices on anything in this place so if you pay more they win. The thing is we all pay more one way or another at one time or another so thats the way it is. The smart guy pay less after he gets wind of he payed to much. And if he is smart will not repete the same mode of operation again. Live and learn.

I got my Pasante Unique's in the mail a few days ago and decided to try them on this 20yr old Filipina I've have been doing for a while now. My first dislike was the packaging. Although nice enough to fit securely into your wallet without worrying about rupturing the condoms, the packaging caused problems when I reached for it and tried to get a condom out for use. I got so frustrated I had to turn on the lights just to open the damn pack.
The second problem with the packaging is that they package three condoms in one credit card sized container. They can't be separated into individual condoms. If you negotiate up front it will probably be 1000p to 1500p for either ST or LT [they don't make much of a distinction between the two]. If you pay after just give them 1000p and they will very seldom ask for more.
I know Gtot did not mean to ask a provocative question but that one is a doosie that may start a flame war as people have VERY different opinions on the matter. The one bit of advice I would give him or any Philippine newbie is to agree on everything IN ADVANCE.
I understand JBoy's point, and sometimes I will NEVER discuss money until time for her to go, but that is NOT adviseable for those unaccustomed to the Philippines. If you PROVE you really know the "going rate", you are MUCH less risk of being overcharged.
The safest bet of all for a newbie is the all inclusive price structure in Angeles. Nowhere in Manila has that system to my knowledge (as if they do it is almost a GUARANTEED ripoff!; like taxi fares, a fixed fare is NEVER less than a metered fare as drivers KNOW what the metered fare would be and are not going to take less).
