No action down that way at all unless you manage to call in a local massage that will provide "extra or even full service". Maybe the concierge of your hotel can assist?
If you need to get out, it will take you between 45 - 60 mins at off peak times to travel up to Makati.

But it's the Philippines and there are millions of available women there. The last time I was there I was looking at buying a house in a new Italian themed subdivision. I bought a condo in the Fort instead. Anyway, I have always had the best luck talking with department store ladies. They are usually more educated, speak better english and still love to date. Try the mall there, its nice and start doing some talking. You'll find someone for sure. If not its not a long drive at night after the traffic dies off to head back into makati. BTW if you are out one night, try the Embassy Superclub in Fort Bonifacio if you haven't already been there. Its crazy and always full of hot hot hot chicks.

I will be heading to Tacloban on the island of Leyte soon, and I am looking for a hotel that is 3 stars or better, clean, good security, close to restaurants or a short taxi ride away, GF friendly and maybe a pool. Any suggestions from members who has visited Tacloban recently?

In fact the best of the lot appear to be a real stretch to call 3-star.

I'm staying at Leyte Park, but will not be seriously on the prowl (will only be meeting one DIA girl and then going traveling with her) so didn't check their girl policy. Was looking at Hotel Alejandro but my local cutie said no. Saving all my prowling for the following week in Cebu after she's on her way back home.

Theres a funny little bar near top of Zapote Raod called Suzy wong. Used to date and score with two of waitresses there.

Lots of girls in Festival mall, less so in ATC (alabang town Centre) but thousands girls in SM mall. Don't go there weeeknds as half of Manila seems to be there.

Theres a Sogo near the old mall on other side of Muntinlupa highway and where theres a short time motel. They can sometimes do in call.

Use DIA for girls living in Alabang or in Cavite. Theres plenty there and some are game. I had a Cavite girl take a 2 hour jeepney trip on my last Manila advnture to meet me.

I would look at it as a challenge and try your best.

There used to be a great driving range there too with lots of cuties. Managed to nail one but it took 3 months of swinging at balls before she gave it up.

But like all things, its a challenge and requires a positive spirit.

There are KTV places all along Zapote road, cultivate a friendly taxi driver to take you up and down the road, be funny and polite, and you WILL get what you need.

Decent pool, spectacular view. Like most hotels in secondary places, a little 'tired' and could use a major cash infusion for upgrading. Security was good. It's about a 5 minute ride to downtown. I also stayed earlier at a supposed three star downtown called 'Stars'. It wasn't.

I recommend Otcho for seafood. One of the best meals I've had in PI.

Thanks for the info. When did you stay at Leyte Park and what room type did you book, and did you book from an online website or directly from the hotel? I have not seen any hotels in Tacloban listed on the usual discount hotel websites. Thanks for the tip about Otcho, I will have to check it out.

Last year, and the year prior, I just showed up at Leyte Park and they always had standard rooms available. I think it came to 40usd per night. I agree with other posters, LP could benefit from a little renovation, but the location is great... a beautiful waterfront view and just a few mins trike to the center of town. Both times, I had arranged entertainment prior to arrival, but I noted that women were discretely trying to get my attention whenever I went by the reception area in the evenings.

There is also McArthur Park Resort. Much further away from the center of town, but much nicer IMHO.
