However my objection to to your earlier posts is that you seemed to be characterising all Vietnamese as being the same. This is simply not true.

This is reflected in your posts from up-country where you seemed to have some better encounters with Vietnamese people - providers and others.

For me I accept your comments about Hot Tocs/KTV's (with a guide) as valuable reminders and suggest we move on to more positive issues such as the action at the new disco/clubs that seem to have sprung up with the new later closing laws in HCMC.

About six months ago someone asked about a no hands restaurant in HCMC and I was skeptical or worse.

Well I think it is possible to have such Red Rope thing in VN but the chance to taste it is RARE because such club is illegal. It can get shut down pretty soon. You must belong to an elite group or know someone UP there. VN is not like China where Red Rope, full service Sauna clubs are plenty.

I have been out of touch with Saigon for a tyear and I know from experience that this scene changes quickly.

As I will not have too much time on my hands for exploration, I would appreciate some phone numbers with pricing info of nice VN gals from the knowledgeable guys.

The only way for me to return the favour would be to those who go to Jakarta where I stay and know the scene pretty good.

The girls tend to turn over fairly quick so I tend not to keep phone numbers - I also don't like to have embarrassing messages turn up on my phone.

The bars in HBT are still going strong although some of the mamas are getting greedy. I find the one on Dong Du opposite Club Latin (sports bar) to have a reasonable selection and a realistic view of prices.

You may like to have a look at the Singapore forum - there was a guy today asking about whether to go to Singapore or Jakarta for a holiday.

This is on a location of a Massage place that offers the Full Pacakge.

It is located directly opposete the Main Entrance of Sheraton Hotel. Its on the 2nd Floor normally with some girls sitting outside touting the for the massage place.

Entrance fee - VND 160,000 of USD$10 Paid up front before entering.

Upon payment, You will be assigned a ger who will lead you directly to the massage room.

Please note the following, there are no lockers to place your belongings and you do not change into shorts or bath robes or anything like that.

She will ask you to strip and get you to hang your clothes on the wall hook adn will ask you if you want to shower. If yes, she gets you a towel and directs you to the shower room. PLease note the only facility available is a little steam/sauna room. Other than that, nothing else.

10 massage rooms, all the same design. Massage bed is only about 3 -4 feet high and this should tell you something. The girl that massaged me that day had the skills to do a good job. Chatted abit and found out she has worked there for 2 years, 25 yrs old bit looks more like 29-30. Oh yeah, she speaks very very good english.

Towards the end of the session, she poped the golden question, HJ for USD$50. I literally rolled of the table and fell on the floor. Told her I have been in HCMC for1 year and this is the first time I heard of this kind of price. SHe than said ok, I give you discount, VND500,00. I just laughed at her.

She then procedded to list the whole price structure for me. HJ USD$50, BJ USD$100, FJ USD$150. I just looked at her in total disbelief. BTW, this is the first time I have gone to any massage parlour and got offered a FJ. I just told her she was crazy, and rejected her offer. At least she didnt put on a black face. Dressed up, tipped her VND200,000 and left the place.

My personal deductions are as follows;

FJ is defiantely available and you dont have to ask, they will offer it.

Catered to foreigners because of the pricing and all the girls speak very very good english. Confirmed by my friend who was also there with me.

If you want facilities like hot pool etc etc, skip this place.

Very Very expensive place.

Girls are all matured. My friend's one was like 34 yrs olds.

This place has been there a long time and used to have mattresses on the floor with dividing curtains.

With people 3 feet away any extras were very furtive.

Went into Palace disco about 10.00 pm. At Palace hotel past elevators on left and up stairs - no signs. Not a soul at 10.00 pm - lots of promo girls for smokes and booze and lots of security.
