As a rule of a thumb Stinkyfeet is right. Out of the roughly 70 girls in had sex with perfect looks and perfect service only came together a few times. Good service I had a lot of times going by the rule of chossing the playfull, active smilling girls. Thats why I like the "showtimes" at golden sauna or familia noble. There you can check out a little bit what the girls are like.

Once I was in an upscale sauna Bangkok (Poseidon) and yes it was a letdown. Only that I want to try things that must be tried at least once. I mean it in a sense that I will probably do it only once in Macau since I don't drop there too often and I don't know if I ever will again. All I expect is a very hot Chinese or Vietnamese girl (this is an absolutely crucial condition) who would do at least 2-3 things from my preferred "menu" (Dfk, rimm, DATY. 69, cof / cim, owo). If I get that, I'll consider it money well spent.

Anyway, I think it is good to assume that Rio and 18 Sauna are the best options to go for? I guess it is impossible to predict the rest and will depend on the individual girl.

[/QUOTE]Why not try Darling 2 first, you don't get the sauna stuff like pool, rest room, sauna etc. But the fish bowl with the girls is 2 meters from the entrance, if you don't like them just leave. And the best thing is 90 minutes for 1088. And last time I was there is was 1499 for 2 girl 90 minutes. Since its a hit and miss there more you swing the more hits you will have.

1) As previously stated, the 'fishbowl' is just inside the door. The first time I popped in to check out the possibilities in the early afternoon and was suitably impressed. I told the mamasan I'd come back when I had more time, which I did, a couple of days later. So no hassles if you just want to look, but I believe you'll like what you see.

2) As for a general question about staffing levels at all saunas, some are decent during the day and even better in the late evening. If you RTFF you'll see more on this subject, but it's best to avoid weekends if you can, as well. Punters from HK descend on the place like locusts and leave 'slim pickin's' at times!

You didn't ask, but I'm going to say it anyway, Darling 2 is a damn good 'bang for the buck' IMHO, but if you only have one night in Macau, and may never get back, you owe yourself a visit to one of the premier level saunas. Among the many possibilities, I'd recommend perhaps Rio. 18, Emperor, or a bit less expensive, Famila Nobre. Expect to spend about $2, 000 HKD for top of line,"China Doll', or $15K for a smokin' Viet or Thai; CIS / Russians are there as well.

All of these places are truly 'Man Heaven', and hey, don't you deserve it?

At one of the places I liked most, Darling 1 (in the Jai-Alai casino near the Yaohan Dept. Store) , you can order a beer and sip whilst partaking of the wonderful scenery. I was told by an attendant a couple years back that the waitresses are also available (and there were some hotties too!). At Rio, too, you can look over the lineup before committing. Again, don't shower or use any services before you decide on a boinkin', as you will be charged. And often quite a bit.

Darling 1 + 2 are totaly easy if you just want to take a look but in the evening in the bigger saunas I never ever ever ever had a problem to find hot girls the problem was always to choose between 10. 15 equally hot girls.

To mention so other saunas, familia noble has a hole line up area near the front desk just ask there. When I am there I see the hole line up of 25. 35 girls walk through the whole sauna to the front for a show time. Remember you pay more for a girl for 60 minutes then in most western countries so its your right to pick only what you want.

Rio ans 18 its a bit more difficult but in the near impossible situation that you don't like the girls just leave and pay the minium charge for the sauna (200 to 400 HK) and go to another one, but believe me that can only happen in a smaller sauna at 9 in the morning.

And even 9 in the moring there were about 10 viet girls in darling 1. (I took advantage of the 300 hk discount before 2 pm).

One thing that was mentioned. The way they do the line up at 18 really pissed me off. There were so many men that I had not time to make my pick before the hot girls were gone

Some Macanese Full Employment of Idiots Act, perhaps?). I have dated myself with my last contribution; it's been more than a year since I've been to Macau. My recollection of the 18 rush-to-pick is spot-on with your observation. At 18 it's a quick parade and competition with the Chinese dudes who jump into the line to inspect the wares from a foot away. Do as they do and be just as agressive.

I wonder if anyone has been to Golden (I think that was the name of the place I visited three years ago) Sauna. At the time the girls spent more time lingering around the pool area, and had nice little qipao / chongsan-type dresses with a triangle cut out of the fabric to observe their special areas (to spot shaven / unshaven, I believe). Many of the girls were friendly in a fun-loving way.

With Macau saunas another thing I am wondering about is which of the saunas are best at offering gratis rooms to spa customers (I know, I know RTFF) I see some sporadic postings, but wonder if an "expert" here has a listing, and what the typical time of day the rooms open up for rest. I have noticed that Macau hotel prices have skyrocketed.

[/QUOTE]The Golden sauna is quite nice, they have a showtime were the girls take turns on the guys giving a lapdance on the guys in the resting area, so you can take a look at the girls up close after that they line up and you make the selection. After 5 or 6 pm the selelction is quite big and the prices are reasonable 1100 to 1300 HK. There are also some girls in the resting area you chat with that speak good english and go to the room after that. Also they had the best tasting food for a sauna (I like spicy food, most saunas don't have that).

For overnight stay I can confirm famila noble and boss sauna (not big boss sauna in the same street).

I slept in famila noble once in a simple 4 x 3 meter room with a TV because all hotels were booked out in macao.

In boss saunau there was a sleeping room for someting like 10 people. Other saunas will let you sleep in the resting area.

Its an option but I like to have the option to take a girl back to my hotel room if the possiblity comes up and for 600 to 800 HK$ for Hotels like RIO or Golden dragon I think its still ok. Of course in the wrong time of the year (like Chinese new year) the prices will be like 5 times that.
