Have stayed there two or three times over past four months. Nice hotel but runs about $65 a night. The beds are like double king size which is great for sex but many rooms have mediocre a/see units. Pool is great and included breakfast is good. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Last time I was there I left after one day because there was a blackout and they did not have a planta for backup electricity. Last time I checked there was still a problem with the planta.

It is funny to see you post your story here. Because I heard about the drama and your friend meeting you at the airport even before you posted any of this and we have never meet and I have not been in Sosua for months. PS: It is good to read reports like yours because, no matter how far from Sosua and how far off the trail a chica is you have to remember --Once a chicas has been to Sosua there will always be other guys fucking her and you are never her "Only special friend." I'm headed to Pop, Sosua, and Santiago at he end of my trip. This is my first visit to this area. I will be leaving at the later part of October and will sty in Blue Bay for two nights, 4 nights at BB, 3 night at Garden Inn, and spent a night in Santiago prior to my departure from STI. I plant to sty at the Court Yard Marriott Santiago near the air port. I will be renting a car during my trip. I need some advise from you rookies.
Is anything going on at Blue Bay Adult Resort?
I have a TOMTOM GPS, does it work out there?
Where can I find or purchase paper map of Santiago?
Is renting a car a good Idea?

I've never been to the Blue Bay, but I know you can buy a nice map from the rental car counter in STI (I got mine from National)-- leave the Tom Tom safe at home. I personally like renting a car. They are relatively cheap if you reserve on line a head of time and its nice to have the option to drive around.

Yeah, I too loved the free-flowing report delivered by TWO HANDS. It brings back the Sosua Life, although his is a lot different than mine. I don't dance. Or buy cervezas for the table. But it was good to hear about his gang of jealous and loca chicas. Some of them he mentioned were like hearing about "old friends" from the High School reunion you weren't able to attend.
Especially touching was hearing about one of my favorite Haitiana amigas, MIMOSA. There are two gyms to my knowledge. One is is on the road leading to the beach a few doors down from the "orange" store next to banco popular. I think its called angel gym or something like that. The other is across the main highway not far from rockys(maybe ask there). I think this is the better one. Sorry I dont have a name for you.
I believe the name is Golden Park Gym. The gym opens at 6 or 7 am - 9pm and I understand it is very busy for first hour or two, and then in late afternoon and evening. Equipment is well maintained and clients are mostly serious. No misbehavior problems that I have ever observed or heard about. Lots of Dominicans, of course, but also good foreign representation.

I'm not sure if it's open now since so many business open up and close down in Sosua ex.. Club X.
I do know this a friend of mine went to the gym a while back then he took one of the chicas / gym members out to dinner that night. He stayed with her for the next 3 days, I guess he didn't break the three day rule.
I was in Sosúa around the first week in August. It was certainly an experience and did not turn out the way that I thought, but, then again, I had no way of knowing how it would turn out so I am not complaining in the least.
I learnt a lot of things about Haitian culture, Dominican culture and. About myself. I will be sending a series of reports to fulfil a promise to member #2128 and to give possible advice.
All in all, I found that speaking Spanish was not only an asset, it was absolutely fundamental to have the experiences that I did have. Knowing Some of the bars had German menus out front, even Dutch. I made my way as far as Passions and then headed towards the opposite direction. I spotted some very hot chicks, all Black, along the way. Eventually I went past Bar Central in anticipation of seeing some Haitians but, at around 4, the bars are largely empty. At that time, the action is definitely at the beach and so that is where I headed. I was determined to find Siempre Sol. Calle Pedro Clisante eventually forks into a street, chocked full of shops and manicure joints and takes you to the beach.
The beach has an endless array of shops that sell, well, touristy knickkacks and junk. There are also some cigar shops and, of course, numerous beach bars. I looked an looked for Siempre Sol but, for some reason, I couldn't find it. In the meantime, I saw this knockout black girl with Lacoste sunglasses. I looked at her, she looked at me but, for some reason, I was too shy to approach her. I was also afraid that she might be too young.
Eventually, after asking around, I did find Siempre Sol and that is where I met Herman. Herman is a very nice, personable Dutchman from Haarlem with a beautiful tan and a likeable disposition. He is at his bar all day and is a great conversationalist. He was with some other Dutchmen. I was able to speak to him in reasonable, albeit simple Dutch and that made him happy.
There was also a German there named Max who quaffing down a great many Presidentes. Max was also with a nice black Dominican girl. Max spoke to me in German and sometimes in English. In spite of his being bilingual, he was unable to talk with his new Dominican flame since she knew only Spanish and he didn't I had to translate for him. As Max downed one Presidente after another, he grew more philosophical. He confided that the Dominican girls liked him but didn't love him.
I started to down a few brewskis of my own and I developed a keen liking to Presidentes. At Herman's bar, they give you a kind of bamboo mug which holds the bottle of beer. I usually prefer my beer out of a mug but, for some reason, I liked that solution. Herman's waitress was a rather pretty mulata.
I stayed there for 2 or 3 hours. I honestly never get drunk but perhaps my intake of Presidentes clouded my judgement more that I would have liked. A black Dominican woman came to sit at the table and started gazing at me and smiling. She was certainly no beauty but, after a few beers, she started to look better and better. She couldn't talk. She was a mute. She could only grunt out some words. Finally, she propositioned me by sticking her finger into her fist. I thought, maybe she might not be a beauty but she probably can screw like a minx. Surprisingly, I accepted her offer. I must have been out of mind, incredibly stuped or besozzled by too many Presidentes or all of the above.
We walked to the hotel and she kept smiling and laughing. NO one carded her at the hotel and we sent straight to the room. We showered together but then I realized that she was a starfish kind. She was also shaved below which is really a turnoff for me. The sex was rather mechanical. Her face was unmoveable. For me it is hard to get off when the girl is obviously not enjoying it. Eventually, my hard-on lost its vigour and that is when she called it quits. At least she allowed me to take some pictures.
Our arrangement was 1, 500 pesos. I know, 1000 would have been better but, hey, I was a newbie. I gave her 2000 pesos and asked for change. I slowly took a thousand out of her hand (leaving the other thousand with her) and opened my room safe and fished out a 500 peso note. She seemed to be angry but I stuck to my guns. She then demanded 200 pesos for a motoconcho but, thanks to this fine forum, I gave her 50 pesos saying, ""Mira chica, ya sé por donde van los tiros. Estoy bien informado y sé muy bien cuánto vale un motoconcho. Con esto basta y ya está (Look girl, I know the ropes here. I'm well informed and I know very well how much a motoconcho costs). She quickly give in. She even walked out of the hotel room with me and down Calle Dr. Rosen until it ran into Calle Pedro Clisante. There we parted. Thank goodness. I felt cheated and frustrated.
I hung a right and went to Bar Central. By chance, Max was there and I was certainly glad to see him. Eventually, a friendly black girl sat down next to me and started chatting. I asked her "Eske ou se ayitiyen? (Are you Haitian? ). She gleefully replied, Me wi, mwen se ayitien. I told her "M'ap aprann kreyòl e m'renmen moun ayitiyen yo. (I'm learning Kreyòl and I like Haitians) She was shocked but quite happy. She really wasn't my type. I really don't go for the painted eyebrow look that so many there seem to relish. However, we continued to talk. She was joined by other Haitian girls. I invited them all to a Presidente.
One of them I took a liking to, Jackeline. She told me that she was 23 and worked at a photography shop. She was quite well-dressed. Eventually, the painted-eyebrow girl realized that I like Jackeline. We sat down at a restaurant but they didn't want a pizza. The painted-eyebrow girl just asked me for some money for a meal somewhere else. I gave her 150 pesos and Jackeline and I were alone. Eventually, Jackeline and I drifted towards Spanish since Jackeline's Spanish, though full of grammatical flaws, was still better than my Creole. She had a 6 year old son and lived somewhere in betweeen Puerto Plata and Sosúa.
Eventually, I worked up the courage to invite her to my hotel room. I always told her that she didn't have to if she didn't want to. She replied that she never did anything she didn't want to and say that she would be glad to. We headed to the hotel room. My second girl in the same evening. Amazing for me. We talked and I asked her about what she wanted in life, what she liked to do in general. She told me that she didn't like to go to bars very much, especially ones like Clássico.
She was sitting in a chair and I was sitting on the bed. Eventually she sat next to me on the bed and with time, she lay with me. I started to stroke her and she seemed to like it. Eventually one thing led to another and we started getting it on. No running water for 4 hours. Lamps in room not plugged into outlets. DUH, because there werent enough outlets... Power outages on a regular basis. BS licquor. Tje list goes on an on. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Windham or Dorado club.

Wow. There must be something going around in Sosua. Just the other day me and my wingman (we have never been in Sosua together) just found out we were fucking the same freebie as well. He was showing me the pics in his camera and he said, "This is the one from Santo Domingo that I was telling you about." First of all, thanks for the interest in my reports and apology for some of the typos. I have looked through this one and, hopefully, it has been cleaned up. I will answer all comments to these reports soon. Here goes the report for my Saturday (s)exploits in Sosúa
Saturday
I slowly dragged myself out of bed, left the New Garden Hotel and headed to the Orange phone shop where I bought a SIM card. Luckily, information from this forum told me to bring along my passport which was necessary for the purchase. I paid 300 pesos and now I was armed with a local cell phone.
I headed out to Herman's place. I grew to really like that place. I t was not only my watering hole, it was my comfort zone. I felt like I was at home there. I met more people there including a very interesting Dutchman named Frederick who actually lived in Sosúa, developing real estate there.
There was a mulatto girl at Herman's bar named Ana who was helping Herman's waitress but she wasn't actually working for the Dutchman. Hmmm. It makes you wonder. A few girls came by and sat with us, including Yossi (the name of the deaf mute that, much to my chagrin and embarrassment, I had bonked the day before) whom I strenuously ignored. A beautiful mulatto girl in a bikini with American stars and stripes came over and sat at our table. I talked to her a bit. I strayed from a Presidente to some wine and, in a moment of carelessness, I spilt wine all over my trousers. I reluctantly excused myself and sheepishly headed back to my hotel and changed. I immediately took my trousers to a local laundry to be washed, and pressed. Very good service and one of the few things that were cheaper in Sosúa than in Thailand.
I made my way back to Herman's. Ana told me that the beautiful mulatto girl seemed to like me a lot. Wow, I thought. She was only 18. In the meantime, I called Jackeline on my cell phone and told her where I was at. Eventually Jackeline showed up. Jackeline told me that she couldn't be with me that night as she had to go to a birthday party. Ana heard this and when Jackeline wasn't looking, told me that she would call me and we could go out. Wow, I thought.
Eventually Jackeline and I left and she asked me if I would accompany her to a manicure shop. I thought, why not? It was located on the street going down to the beach. Inside, all of the women were Haitians and so I was entertained by listening to them speak. Then an Italian walked in and it turned out that he was the actual owner of the joint. Apparently, one of the Haitian manicurists was his wife (or honey, significant-other, concubine, or something to that effect). We talked in Italian which the girls could not understand at all despite the obvious similarity to Spanish but, then again, they were yapping away in Kreyòl which we understood just a bit. The Italian was also interested in learning Kreyòl and showed me his word lists. He told me that he bummed around and was not interested in living the conventional lifestyle in Italy. He eventually made his way to Sosúa and has been there ever since.
In the meantime, I got a call from Ana telling me that she was getting bored at Siempre Sol and was really looking forward to meeting me. "Que me estoy aburriendo aquí, mi amor" (I'm getting bored here, my love") she said, forcefully and coyly. She told me to meet her at "La Bomba" at 9:30 p. M.
In the meantime, Jackeline was jabbering away in her native tongue with her friends as they were doing rather weird things to all twenty of her nails. Unsurprisingly, when they were finished, Jackeline then announced to me that the price of the manicure job was 250 pesos. I told the Italian guy in Italian that I knew this was going to happen and we laughed it off.
I was getting hungry. My stomach was gnawing and demanding some attention. As I was afraid of the hygiene or lack thereof at most Sosúa eateries, I took to a high-beer, low-food diet. I essentially ate just once a day while I was there. That might not work for most but it worked for me. I even lost some weight.
In any case, as I hadn't eaten that day, and seeing that it was getting towards 4 or 5, I decided to invite Jackeline to a fine restaurant which turned out to be "Morua Mai". Although the food was not up to my high standards, it was good enough, especially in view of the old adage "hunger makes the best sauce". Jackeline seemed to like it though she played rather coy with me.
After dinner, I walked Jackeline to a motoconcho as she was determined to attend that "birthday party" and I headed towards "La Bomba". I thought "La Bomba" was a bar. Eventually, I stopped a Dominican man in the street and asked him where ""La Bomba" was. The man, who told me his name was Eduardo, was kind enough to accompany there. He really like my Castilian Spanish and enjoyed listening to it. Dominicans really seem to like Spaniards even though they seem to have adopted a lot of American ways (baseball, electric plugs, etc.) I came to realize that "La Bomba" meant gas station in Dominican Spanish (in Spain they are called "gasolineras").
Ana, true to her word.. An amazing feat for most Sosúa girls.. Showed up. We went to a couple of concession stands in the street and had a couple of beers. Then Ana asked me whether I wanted to go to the casino. I replied, why. Why not? We both got on a motoconcho and off we went, through the darkness of the tropical Dominican night, until we arrived at a Third-World style casino, complete with gun-toting security guards. Of course, I paid for the ride. That is when I discovered that it was 20 pesos and not 50 pesos for a motoconcho ride. Chalk another one up for that mute Yossi and her deft, money-grubbing ways.
The casino was certainly not in the league of the likes of Las Vegas, to be sure, but, for a place such as Sosúa, it was a nice atmosphere to be in. Ana was really into roulette. Her eyes lit up, her spirit lifted, her demeanour perked. I gave her a thousand pesos to bet with and she really went to town. Boy was she ever keen at it. However, she lost most of the thousand and so I gave 500 pesos more. We switched tables and then she started winning. And winning. And winning. In the meantime, there were free drinks for the participants and even though I was not moving the chips, I was bankrolling the operation and so I had as many wines as I could possibly want. Eventually, Ana had accumulated over 3, 500 pesos in chips. Every time she won, she would give me a big kiss. And that was quite a few times. One time, she even blurted out that we were going to go "algunas cositas sucias" (little dirty things) after this was all over. I was looking forward to when it would be all over. In the meantime, I got a call from Jackeline. She told me she was at "Classicos". Hmm, me thinks, perhaps she had forgotten that she had told me the day before that she didn't like such places. What was she doing there? Besides, she she had told me that she simply had to be all evening at the birthday party. It didn't sound right to me. After I hung up, I turned my phone off. Ana seemed to be a more viable if not more voluptuous option.
Ana and I continued gaming. And drinking. Going from one table to another. Then, suddenly, it all came to a crashing end. Apparently, the casino staff decided that Ana was winning way too much and told her to leave. The gorilla-like casino guards were rather kind to me but were looking daggers at Ana. I thought it best not to contest anything. We cashed in our chips and I generously told Ana it was all for her. She gave me a big kiss. We got a motoconcho and headed to my hotel.
When we arrived at around 2:20 a. M. , we went right to business. As I went down on her, she gleely cried "¡que lindo! " as I dutifully performed DATY on her womanhood.
