It appears that Sirenas is the better choice of MPs. Where is it?
Sirenas is on the corner of Hnos. Escobar, Panama, & Tlaxcala.
It's across from the Villa Manport Hotel.
El Encanto is less than a block away on across the street.
It's about a 30 minute walk from all three bridges.
Right now they have slim pickins.
But the girls are always coming & going, so maybe after a couple of weeks they'll have a better selection.
BTW whatever happened to that fat lady (manager?) who has always attached to the couch in the lobby? She wasn't there last week.
Bar next to El Encanto (don’t know the name):
Price: ?
Ladies: About 8 girls. Range from 6 to 9.
Offered to take one lady to the room upstairs, but she declined & started laughing.
Does anyone know what that bar is all about?
Being everyone usually, very easily scores at that bar - Papaguayo's, you must have been dressed funny.
Only kidding - only kidding. I've only been in the there a few times. after hitting El Herraderro, and it seems to be just a "company" bar with the girls behind the bar available for chatting and sharing cocktails with. I would imagine, that after some invested time, you 'might' be able to connect but I've also seen some cuties walk in from the street and wondered if they may have been from the MPs in the area.
That's my take on it but I've just gone there to relax after a big steak and wasn't in monger mode.

that's what I don't get. . .the ladies seem to be working. . .you pay them to chat? Since I'm Spanish challenged, that's not going to be easy. . .don't they want to make some money doing the real thing?

You buy them drinks for their companionship.
Some will prolly work outside, but not many.

Like Bbond said - you buy them drinks and stay and chat. And like you said - they chat in Spanish. Haha. Or at least when I go they do. I'm Espanol challanged as well so it can be both comical and frustrating. I've seen a customer or two leave with his server but not knowing the relationship between the two, I can't comment.
I enjoy it for the no expectation, kicked back feel of having your own private barmaid while enjoying the after-steak dinner yawns. It also seems to work after a visit to the MP as well...

okay. . .like what they do in Japan. . .but all the ladies get are free drinks?. .
I'm guessing they still get paid something from the bar. . .(they should for $3 domestic beers). . .
If I were a chick, my idea of a fun evening wouldn't be chatting with mongers just to get them to buy me drinks. . .

That's what they do. There are several bars in Juarez with the exact same MO.

yeah thanks. . .I usually go over between 7 to 9 PM. . .I don't recommend going at that time--that's just how it works out for me. . .
Maybe you should hit that fat lady--she's got to be sugar momma material. . .
About a year ago a monger posted she was Arleth's girlfriend--I got to see those two go at it :-)

Pachanga?
Anyone familiar with Pachanga in the market place near the Cathedral? I ran into Claudia from Las Vegas on Ave Juarez today and she was headed to work there. She asked me to come with her, but I had a date. Some of the bars around there look rough. The name makes it sound interesting.

Last night I saw Ruby from Pink Lady's at the Casa. That alone brings the class up a couple of notches.
