Putting an ad to meet girls is just one of the siliest idea I've ever heard. I am not saying that it doesn't work, but come on, what are you saying to everyone (including yourself) about yourself? "I am desperate" - "The only thing that I have working right for me is my passport and wallet" - "I can't compete with all the other guys on the same basis" - "I'll accept any girl because my dick is on fire". And then, what kind of girls do you get? The ones that are looking for an easy catch (which is exactly what you are). If you really do not have anything else working for you, and you really need to seriously consider running an ad to get some, then I'd advise to get out of the market. Forget about sex, you had your days (or maybe not), but now leave sex all together so that other people that deserve it can actually enjoy it because they actually have a personality, some carisma and else...

So if you go to Cali for a rather short trip, don't like the casas too much, are a bit shy with hunting for tel numbers in a mall why not posting an ad. And even men who haven´t a personality, a lot of carisma or are good looking deserve as much sex as you do.

In fact, we older men are much better lovers than young bucks even though we can't do it as often and might use a bit if Vitamin V for repeated sessions over a short period of time. In fact, my interest in chasing skirt has increased markedly as I get older. When I was Screwed Up's age, I was focused on chasing waves instead. I would have sex when freebies fell in my lap, but I never really started patronizing hookers until my 30s.

Your suggestion that older guys should just stop having sex is SO absurd that I urge you to delete your post before it becomes the subject of much ridicule. Please reread your post and I am SURE you will realize that your theory of "deserving" sex due to charisma etc. sounds MUCH more "silly" than people placing ads. If they want to post ads (hardly necessary IMHO) to find girls, so what? If they end up finding golddiggers, well that is a risk they must accept. But I fail to see how that all affects YOU and why you are so opposed to it.

Why not use an ad for a first time visit to a country, especially when you are not as fluent in the native language? Fill up your first few days with some sure things you met thru the ads. If things work out, great. If not, gain some confidence, and begin the hunt.

It appears that you are saying that paying for sex at all is to be looked down upon. Isn't that what this board is all about?

As for age, I will have to echo Surfer's comments. When I was younger I would put up with all the effort of the chase to get some pussy or when "it fell in my lap" Now after having been married once, I just don't want to deal with it. Sure I meet some ladies and have a nice dinner and maybe get sex. Then a lot of headaches! So it is just easier to search out some P4P and get on with it. I have a lot of other things to waste my time on.

I am not a fan of newspaper ads but I have used the internet extensively latinamericancupid as well as other sites and it is the same thing. So I can not call the kettle black. I think if a guy wants it, he has to use all of the tools available to him be it game/looks/money or newspaper ads. This guy PS11 has never been down to SA like many guys on this forum and do not realize how incredibly easy it is to get snatch paid or unpaid.

would you post an ad in your hometown newspaper? probably not. probably because you would be scared of what the other people would think. well, i would not, mostly because i would be scared of my own thoughts rather than the ones from other. i would not because my self-esteem would be affected negatively.

i respect everyone here (as long as ****s are not involved), but that doesn't mean that i have to accept every behavior as mine.

i personaly think that putting an ad is pathetic, and if anything else, plain dangerous (people do get kidnapped down here - for a tiny portion of the colombian society, having a list of phone numbers and adresses of gringos is a pot of gold).

That IS a potential risk of running an ad I suppose. I have never needed to run an ad (as you know my problem in Cali is not having enough time to visit with all the chicas I already know), and my post was less about your comment on posting ads thanm the implied criticism of the hobby as a whole. One thing is for sure. Age has nothing to do with it (cfr. Antifreeze), it is common knowledge in Colombia a major part of the mid twenty aged chica's prefer men +35 and yes even double their age. Maturity, security and a wealthy cave to bring up their off spring is what they are looking for. (this is the non paid sex scene for a major part). For many countries it is the other way around. You pay to get sex. I think Colombia is quiet different when you look normal, behave normal, show some respect, and show you are a "caballero" you get laid every night for free.

I have found this to 100% correct, not only in Colombia but all across central america aswell.

I am 25, but look 21. I have found it hard to find regular chicas because girls my age have NOOOO interest in a guy my age, even when they know I am American.

If im in a mall or something, the chicas that are looking at me are usually wearing a school uniform! LOL!

Having living 4 months in South America, I can confirm what Rygin wrote. I wouldn't say 100 per cent but more than 80 per cent anyway.
When I was in Peru for ex. it was easy to have dates with girls around 20-25. I am 38 but I look 32-33...

One aspect that is not mentionned here is the RELIGIOUS aspect. Many girls, that I date, believe in god and they usually don't want to have sex before their marriage or they want to go out with the guy 6 months or 1 year before having sex with him.
I had a girlfriend in Lima, I could kiss her, but no sex....

I don't know if it's the same in Colombia, if religion is as much important as in Lima. Or perhaps I just met the wrong catholic girls or religious girls......just bad luck......
But even some girls that I met and they don't believe in god or go to the church, they told me that they wanted to wait a long time before having sex with a guy.....

I met many girls in Peru, between 30 and 40.

I think you had bad luck. In years of living in Peru I haven´t encountered a problem with religion. Although the great majority here are officialy Catholic, they don´t let that fact stop them from having a good time. Less and less "virgins at marriage".

But my problems at 25 was also that I looked like 21 then, definately too young for many of the girls.

what you said about the latinas is spot on. all ages are really great too. i have had some encounters with colombiana milfs (30-40yrs) and i am almost a convert. those women really know how to take care of a man in and out of the cama/bed. dios mio its like getting raped, they never want to leave it alone!!! i think because they know a man in his 40s + is so desirable by the chicas there is nothing they won't do to keep their man happy. the ones i have been with also had bodys better than most a lot younger.
