I spent a few trips in both Ermita area of Manila and AC both of which are not very classy areas and seen some areas that feel threatening especially after night fall and with limited illumination. I'm big on cardio and like to walk alot especially in and about Ermita and AC. I am confident the USA is in general a more dangerous place, even with lots of lights.

there is one itch i would like to scratch, that maybe someone could help me with. i don't normally go for the 5 star stunners just because they aren't always as good as their looks and i want a litltle effort put forth. however, on this trip i saw at least two girls that i really wanted to do just because they were so damn good looking. unfortunately they were already accompanied, so i didn't want to pry as to were they worked. i'm talking movie star, magazine pretty, but i wonder if anyone can recommend a place or two that would be the best bet to find a gal like this. i know it is very subjective and i am fairly familiar with most of the ac bars, but am open to suggestions. pm's are great if you prefer.

Just don't leave your things such as your phones on the table. Only problems I've seen first hand involve foreigners exclusively.

There was a yank who was gunned down in a Malate or Ermita convenience store robbery in September, but news reports stated he wasn't targeted for being foreign. Wrong place at the wrong time. Can happen anywhere.

Currently, avoid Forbidden City, Tropix, and most Perimeter Road bars. No one bar has a mandate for hot girls, in my opinion.

It doesn't matter where you are you need to take precautions. London is dangerous so is Paris. People get killed. Foreigners get targeted everywhere but mostly for robbery. The robberies that go bad are the ones where the intended victim wants to be a hero. Don't be a hero in that situation. Then there's also the expat that gets involved in sh*t he shouldn't be playing with. MDE Bob has a bunch of stories of big swinging dicks from the states coming to MDE and trying to be big shot. Does't work so well there. One guy recently was executed. He was an assh*le and involved in the dark side of life.

Maybe I'm missing something but I know a lot of guys that travel for mongering. Have met many many over the years. I got flim flammed in Prague. It was totally my fault, I was being stupid and in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If people want to go around being scared of their own shadow it's fine. It would be nice if they went to a safe forum and hid there.

Maybe this is all just Darwinianism. I bet the majority on this MB get that and most things common sense.

I seem to recall a number of reports from 2012 in this thread that speak of BGs getting quite physical with customers in the bar. While not a gogo hopper in LOS, I've read of the same type of thing occurring in BKK. On one or two occasions I've sucked face with a P4P TG in a FL joint.

It is about 5 minutes or less from Fields.

Might want to get a driver to take you as you might need his number to come and get you when you are done

Has anyone stayed in the Bourbon Street Condos? They are adjacent to Wild Orchid and have pool privileges, room service, etc. Each one seems to be individually owned, decorated and priced from 2500 on up. I understand that housekeeping / maid service can be had for an extra fee. So a daily change of two or three towels. Bed sheets. Etc. What's that going to cost? Appears to be two management companies, but they have not been responsive to any questions. Thanks.
