I have been going to Spring massage for about 4 years now.

YMMV in each place. But I would say the Meridian massage (or oil massage for foreigners) includes he. No tip needed. But if you want them to touch them or do anything extra, then tips required.

My best experience was at the one on maoming lu. When I was on my stomach and she was standing near the top of the table by my head. She slips of her shoes and climbs onto the table. Stopped in at a Spring Massage today. Followed advice of many on this forum visiting a Spring outside the city center. This one on the no. 2 metro line prior to Hongqiao airport. Then walked for a while.

Probably true you get more for your $ outside the center. Did 398 all included and was not pestered for tip. I like it that way. If anything you might feel a little intimidated. The girls are all interested in you and some can be pretty aggressive. I personally find it great fun. You just have to be firm if an aggressive girl is not your type and that can be hard with her grinding against you. It is a once in a lifetime experience IMO. I would not miss it if in Shanghai.

I used to love going to these takeout places when I didn't mind staying out late, but it's still better to go with a friend so you can drink with your buddy while eyeing the talent and pondering who to take home. In regards to Manhattan, the intimidation factor is definitely a thing, but I think having a wingman puts a perspective in things. Namely, being with other like minded people may prevent an otherwise lone person from doing something stupid. I would definitely check it out solo, but would prefer to go with someone. Judys and Manhattan have IMHO taken a dive. Who wants to go to a place where you pay about US rates for a choice of women from 1 COUNTRY? The prices are way over the odds for what you are getting. Now I have no problem with Vietnamese women at all they can be super hot but when I am in China I do like at least some local flavours too. The fun is not only after you choose but rather is to be had chatting with your mates with girls hanging of every part of you and the furniture. I get that, but gone are the days however when Shanghai was the fun capital of the world.

I agree the SH scene is pretty shit compared to even 3 years back. Most SNs are not advertising as openly and those who are are charging US prices, 1400+ per session. The earliest I've been to SH was in 2007. Many options at great prices. In the USA, I can't get an all-nighter with a 7-8 level girl for 300 bucks. But yeah, Shanghai is not Pattaya price-wise.
