20 year old.
No Tally I just went to a meeting 7 hours ago. Yea I will suffer a fools fate. But, if I got to pay for it. Which is what we do. I would rather pay for a 20 year old no babies and tight than a experinced 55 year old that will want to run my kids out and bring her grandkids in. Trust me with in 10 questions the average 55 year old has made what she is looking for plan. And it ain't wild sex for 10 years. So when I look at option # 2, 55 year old Gringa, I go running to the fresh meat.
As far as wifing up, that just seems to be my patern. I am telling you I have been to SJ Costa rica, A / C and Bangkok, I get tired of locking my shit up. Checking in and out of hotels. And having to pay flat cash for it. To be honest I told this 20 year old FB friend that I was tired of mindless sex when I was in Thailand getting it. Got back and told her I would make her mine. Will be there in 2 weeks. Will meet mom and get blessing. And take it one day at a time. Sober and maybe even Mass once a month. I intend to take her to St. Nino Chapel in Cebu and might even ask God himself his thoughts on it all.
But to be honest I am a hard headed Paddy, and as with Our Lady of Knock don't never seem to hear much. Now some have told me that I got to shut up and listen I will addmitt. Wish me luck, No fool like a old fool. Hahaha

Re: Norway
From a conversation in the Chat Room / Penpal thread, as it relates to AC:
Any idea why there appears (relatively speaking) to be so many DIA filipinas in Norway or Denmark? Cruise ship industry or simply au pair? The cold weather, the long winter nights or the reserved nordic temperament aggravate their loneliness? But travel within Europe is easy nowadays and advertising there maybe worthwhile if it turns out that the locals are not enterprising enough or not interested. Of course I could ask them. But there are a lot. If you live in Paris Oslo is lot easier and cheaper to get to than Manila.
In the last year or so, two different AC girls (they know each other) , at different times up and disappeared. When the first one didn't respond back for a week or so, I sent the other one an offline msg asking where the first gal was."I hear she in europe," was the only reply. Five months later I get an email from the first gal saying she is in Norway, hired to pick mushrooms. Has anyone heard of this? The email said she can only get to the internet once a month, and that she wanted to go back to the filipines soon. It was a short email. I replied and did not hear back for several more months. In YM chat, the first gal was back in Cebu, and told a rather harsh tale of being transported with other pinay for work in Norway, only to be housed together well away from the nearest city, not allowed a cell phone, overworked, and herded monthly into town for supplies and internet use, all while being watched by the employer. She could not wait to get out of there. Norway?
Fast-forward some months. I'm in AC with girl #2. She had not heard back from girl #1. Out of the blue she said she might leave phils and go to do some work in Norway picking mushrooms. Wow. I told her of my conversation with girl #1. One month later I get an offline msg from #2 stating that she was leaving shortly to work in Norway. She's dropped off the grid for 7 months.
Has anyone else heard of this?

Has anyone else heard of this?
I have red some articles about this in some norwegian papers and it is allready closely watched by the government. They get workpermit as season workers as no norwegian would pick mushrooms or strawberries anymore. I don't believe they are promised gold for taking jobs like this and I believe they get much more than they possible could earn in phils. They are watched simply so we make sure they are beeing transported back home when contract ends. But if some ingnorant prick take advantage of such people that was probably not the intention in the first place. But people and profit makes sth a bad combination. And to be fair places where mushrooms and strawberries grow are in rural areas and not close to Oslo. I believe they are informed they are not going on holiday sitting in starbucks or equal to Jollibee places or stay in datingsites all the time. But not beeing allowed to have a phone sounded a bit to much.

Has anyone else heard of this?
Export of truffles is a big enterprise in the Netherlands, but I think might also be for Norway given their habitat is not much different. Many European cuisine buffs have become increasingly distressed about cheap asian knockoff truffles being imported displacing homegrown hard to find domestic (EU) truffles. European white truffles can cost well over 1000 USD per pound.
Seems like the trend may be instead to import the Asians (PI) and let them hound about for the pricey shrooms.

Trafficking
I think you are missing a key point here guys.
It is not the actual "mushroom picking" that is the focus; it is the fact that women (and men) are recruited from out of the grid (the POEA and licensed recruiters are not involved) and when they reach these countries (Norway, Cambodia, Vietnam are 3 that I know of that have delivered recent bad experiences) the "employer" takes the passport and they are forced to do work under very harsh conditions that was NOT in the spiel that was delivered by the crooked recruiters.
The emphasis is primarily on women exploited for sex work, but there are also many cases where men and women are also forced to do work that others will not. They target the marginalised members of various countries who are desperate for money (Phils, Bangladesh are 2 well-known options) and they work for peanuts.
And yes. They take away cell phones too.
It helps explain why the immigration guys are a bit more thorough in screening filipinos / filipinas who are leaving the country as "tourists" when blind Freddy can see that most do not have a brass razoo and are obviously going as fodder for these "sharks" to exploit.

Great post Rk. Japan has similar programs which welcome short term slave labor, or maybe just giving someone a window of opportunity.
I met a nanny in Vancouver who complained that she was told that she would have a private bathroom. In the end she shared with the teenage son and any visitors he had (including the teenage Chinese gal who snuck in thru the back window). She didn't have such a bad deal at all.

but trafficking hm? from what i read these pinays are informed upfront of the regime they will be working under. that they happens to have heard storys from fellow pinay friends norway beeing so nice and here you can easily get strong wellfare support? well that does not apply for seasonworkers. but i want everyone coming to norway to have a nice stay. work hard, earn your money and then go back home.

i have helped 2 dhs get away form their local employers in advising what to do and where to go (and then providing food for them in the shelter) and i got an abusive vcall from a pinay about it. was very amusing as she was the agents 'representative'. she soon shut up and disappeared after a few choice words but this happens a lot and seems despite safeguards being in place the agnets just ignore and find ways around it. passed the information to the embassy and never a word after that

Picking mushrooms
I picked mushrums while in a drug program in the states. They grow in shit. And they do not wieght much. But it is dark and moist in a room full of shit. It is not hard work. Farmers the world over work from sunrise to sunset. I do not see Norway with all the oil wealth they have abussing foriegn workers. I do see many people who might want to cut and run when they find out there are not money trees growing behind the barns. Now there are plenty of other places in the world where I do see the possibility of abuse. WR mentioned an area. And I have a niece going there on the 18th as a RAD tech. She is happy to be going and making about 16K a year in suadi. Now she does sono grams of babies and other stuff like Kidneys. I hope she does mostly Women. 2 year contract. I know there is abuse everywhere. I did not get paid to pick them, But I got a bed and food and cloths and a chance at a new way of life. I learned how to pick them and that they grow in shit. I am glad I did it.

Reminds me of when I was in college and I answered an ad in the paper for a management position. My best friend had already been but would not tell me what it was. So I drove to the interview which was like 45 minutes away. I got the job and was to start unpaid training but free lunch the next day. I had to show up at 8am well dressed. I had to leave my car at the office and get into the car with two other guys for the training. We drove an hour away and parked somewhere. We got out and they opened the trunk. For the rest of the day I had to walk around bum fuck in a suit trying to sell flowers to people. When I got home I cursed my best friend the fuck out. And he just kept laughing.
I'm over in Palau right now and these Pinay in the karaokes are going for $150. $8 lady drinks (mango juice) but they only get $200 LD pay if they get 100 drinks in 15 days. I think they are under 2 year contracts. Fuck that noise. I can't wait to get my ass to AC. 5 more days.

Norway`s honor is at stake here so I dived more into it and in 2011 it was 126 men and women from the Philippines(seasonworkers). Most of the season workers come from Vietnam and Ukraine. They work in agriculturalrelated business or in hotel or restaurants. This due to Norway takes a 2 months break during summertime and enjoy the holiday. In 2011 it was only 2136 seasonworkers in Norway so such a big problem it is not and I can not see anyone is beeing abused like in Saudi, Emirates and or in Kambodia.
We have also around 80000 swedish people coming to Norway to work in hotel / restaurants / farms / factories as well. That is by far the biggest group.
To get permisson from the authorities to hire season workers an employer have to garantuee financialy for the people he is hiring. He or she also have to provide decent housing and healthy food. The people hiring also have to create bankaccounts for the seasonworkers so the government can control they get the agreed money. There are supposed to be regulated workinghours but many seasonworkers work a lot more as in extratime and they can earn 40000NOK (PHP 280000) without paying taxes. Every seasonworker have to personaly meet up at a governmental taxoffice to register and to get a tax freecard(40000NOK)..
In the strawberryfields or in a applefarm the more you pick the more you can earn. I guess they pay by the kilo or something. Avaragely seasonworkers earned 160NOK(1120PHP) in agricultur and 180NOK(1260PHP) in restaurants/hotel per hour. Better than back in the phils I believe?
try the middle east
this may be the most salient comment for this thread. i do not doubt there's exploitation going on in norway, just like even in the usa there are plenty of urban sweat shops and many agri workers get exploited here too. but significant majority of immigrant workers here, and i would wager in norway too, are treated reasonably well (they are, after all, third world immigrant workers). i would also bet many or most of the manipulators are peeps of their own nationality who are pimpeen them to do agri labor, or cleaning or sexing or fill in the blank.
i lived in saudi for close to a year. the class of pinays who have to labor in that part of the world i think generally, categorically get phucked in so many ways. a few well directed complaints, word of mouth etc i hope would mitigate or minimize the mushroom exploitation in norway. at least i would not generalize anything about norwegians, as i surely would with saudis.

AC now
The more things change the more they stay the same. Not much to report, I haven't been to AC for few months now and not much has changed, I will be here few more days so I will post a proper FL after.
Last week for couple of nights I stayed at A7 Square which is a place opposite the Mc Donalds on McArthur Fwy. About 2000 peso a night, ok room but can be a bit noisy. Its close to a local college where my regular here goes now so it was fun bonking her on her breaks between classes. Seems like she has a break ever couple of hours I just wonder what they could actually learn this way.
That Lucky Hat on perimeter has a bar fine of 1200 peso which is one of the cheapest I have come across. Mostly MILFS although there are couple of good looking girls too. I joked around with few of them at the bar and I recon almost any of them could easily be talked into anal. Most seemed OK with it when I brought it up.
For those of you that are fans of Trike Patrol have a look at Camelot. There is a certain starlet there that has an amazing set of tits and bigger tattoo then featured on her video. 100K peso for the video, thats what has told her friends at the bar.
