[/QUOTE]The short answer is Jakarta, but I know you will eventually visit both cities so pick one for your next trip and have a great time. I prefer both Jakarta & Phnom over KL. Here are some comparisons to think about:

1. CJ's (Jakarta) is a much better 5 * pickup bar than BC. Darling Darling (Phnom) is good too, but not on the level of CJ's. Score +1 for Jakarta.

2. Phnom has many small hostess bars which you will like. The remaining few Blok M bars (Jakarta) can be good, but score +1 for Phnom.

3. Jakarta has Malio / Malioboro, Kings Cross, Emporium & Tease, Colosseum Club & 1001 Pool, Illigals, and Classic. I know what you stated as your preferences above, but this is where Jakarta out shines itself. You will not know what you are missing until you check these bordellos out. Score a BIG +1 for Jakarta.

4. Phnom is considerably cheaper than Jakarta, so I leave it to you how much weight to give this consideration.

I will sum up my preferences this way: When I am thinking about a fun filled 5-night visa run from LOS, my favorite destination is Phnom Penh. It is funky Buddha land and Khmer girls are very friendly. The Food is good and I like the culture. But when I am considering a serious alternative to BKK or Manila loaded with really attractive and passionate girls, especially for a 2-week trip or longer, there is no better place that comes to my mind than Jakarta. Hence my recommendation is go to Jakarta and have a great time. But again, Phnom Penh is a lot of fun too only I would recommend it for a shorter side trip out of BKK or Pattaya.

On the last few days of my trip last week, I was feeling kind of worn out. I'm a once a day kind of guy, and recently, late nights are no longer my thing, so the 3-4 am finishes were taking its toll.

Was able to meet up with two civvies off Tinder and TanTan (mainland China app), though both were local girls. It took quite a bit of chatting before we could arrange a time to meet. One was older, but cute, and eager to jump into bed. No IDR requested, but had a nice dinner out with drinks. The other from Tinder was a sweet girl looking more for a dating situation but and she did not come over until the second meeting, and ended up being a really great time back at the hotel, despite her initial reservations. Second side note: One of the civvies I met up with first at Plaza Kalibata. Nearby are some residential towers, and we walked around a bit since she used to live there. We had a snack at a 24-hour diner inside the residential complex, and she mentioned that she has heard there is a lot of prostitution happening in the complex, and when she lived there saw lots of young, made up girls with older ladies going up and down the elevators and picking up guys to go upstairs. In fact, she thought the table behind us was a pimp and his girls (there were 3 really made-up girls wearing sexy outfits with a local guy all eating and on their phones). [/QUOTE]Those Kalibata hookers are not just for locals (although mostly for locals). They sometimes have 4 or 5 girls in the same small apartment there. They want 500 k for an hour. I have local friends who often send me photos of the girls they tried at Kalibata and offer me their contact numbers. Sometimes I get their contacts if they are hot and I do have quite a few of the girls numbers, but I have only tried it once. Those girls prefer to have sex in their apartment at kalibata while I prefer to have them come to my place so I only did it once. Well, have not heard about the exact location in all the years. Will definitely have to give it shot as something different. The funny thing is that locals who are safe for me to ask such things always seem to draw a blank when I ask them questions about places to go.

The office I was working in had some expats so I figured they could lead me to the night life. They all claimed that they didn't go out since they were married. Later I found out they were going out every night of the week chasing Indonesian pussy and just didn't want people outside their circle knowing what they were doing.

I worked on Java in 2014 and spent some time in Jakarta during my tenure there.

My favorite haunts are CJ's, then BATS, and Top Gun.

Near the end, I discovered Maribaya Spa in Hotel Melawi thanks to posts by Koperen Klaas. At the time there were a fair amount of negative posts about the place but it suited me well and I always enjoyed it. Low key, small, decent looking girls, excellent service, GFE attitude, fair price at 600 k. I made maybe 6 visits and loved every one.

I would go there for fun in the afternoon (Arti) or early evening (Ani) before the evening began at 10 pm at CJ's or BTA'S. I like to get there early and get a good seat near the entry door to peruse the talent walking in.
