Pete just wondering how much total it cost to marry a pinay and bring her back to the states? I believe you got a non standard type (F1 instead of k1?) but what is the cheapest possible amount it could be done for?

There are so many different levels and ways of looking at things. What kind of development, where and for what. Not much benefit to highland villagers if an amazing new road is built in a valley to truck out precious gems to international buyers.
I think the whole thing really defines characterization. It's much more subtle, with varying shades of grey. There is no one size fits all.
For me though, there are countries where a modern middle class western standard of living is common and there is the rest of the world, united at least to some respect, by its utter poverty (not only economic but also cultural and intellectual).
"Developing" really is a hell of a euphemism isn't it? Especially when applied to place like Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Central Africa Republic, Haiti, etc. And hard to believe the PI has "developed" at all. If AC is the product of "development" you got to wonder what it looked like before. Phnom Penh certainly looked a lot nicer in the movies reels from the 50's than it does now.
Perhaps they'll concoct a new label soon."Undeveloping country" for places like Greece, Spain and the US which are literally falling apart at the seams.
I will be arriving at Manila Airport by 840 pm. On a Sunday night I will have my ABC hotel driver picking me up. How long at that time would my drive be to Angeles and would there be time for some bar hopping the same night?

Try and pick up some food and a drink to help kill time and prevent motion sickness.
You can find threesomes everywhere. Just start off by finding a girl you like. Then let her know what you're interested in. They usually do threesomes with another girl they know but some don't care. It's all about the $$$.
I believe it's safe to walk from ABC to the action but you're going to be hassled a lot by beggers and street vendors. ABC offers a free shuttle service in the area, I recommend using it as much as possible.

It should be faster since it is Sunday night and traffic will be less. You should reach ABC by 11. 30 at the latest.
Only perimeter bars close early. Main fields avenue bars are open till 3-4 am. Plenty of time to barhop.
It is very safe walking from ABC to fields. But to perimeter bars better take trike.

In BKK you can probably get girls as hot as in AC for less money ST. Model streetwalkers, for example, are available for 30 USD.

Yesterday (Saturday) I landed in Manila from Dumaguete at 1:45 pm. At 2:15pm I was in a yellow taxi to go to the Victory Liner Bus Station in Pasay. The price of the taxi was P142 + P20 for Skyway toll. I arrived at the bus station at 2:45pm and immediately got on the 3pm bus to Dau. The bus pulled out at 2:54pm. There were not many people on it. I sat all the way in the back and had all 4 seats across to myself. Manila traffic was hell as usual. We made a couple of other stops on the street and at a mall to pick other people up. The bus ended up filling up. The attendant came around to collect tickets / money. The cost was P150. When I arrived at Dau station I went outside to get a trike. The driver said P100. I told him negative. P80 (which is still highway robbery coming from Dumaguete where a trike to anywhere in the city is only P9 (P50 to & from the airport)). He agreed and off we went arriving at Pacific Breeze at 5:45pm.
Total cost P392 (US$9.64) and 3 hours and 30 minutes from getting into the taxi at the airport until arriving at the hotel in Angeles. The cost of a taxi would have been P2500 (US$61.49) and would not have been that much difference in time (not enough to justify the US$51.85 difference between the two) due to the heavy Manila traffic. The free wifi on the bus and the loads of other things I had to do on my computer helped the time go by quickly.
When I got here yesterday I went down to my usual hangout, the Black Pearl. Most of the guys who hang at the bar live here in AC. I met a frat brother and told him that I can't wait to check out High Society later on. He told me that it is a good place to go and that last time he was there a chick started talking about money. He said he told her if he wanted to pay then he would just go to a bar. He goes to High Society when he DOES NOT want to pay.
So I got to the club about 1am. I immediately saw a girl I wanted to get with so I went and stood near her. From observing her I didn't think anything was going to jump off so I scanned the club to look for someone else. On the other side I saw a girl who was my type and I saw her looking back at me. I went over to that side and no sooner than I got close her friends were calling me over. They said their friend liked me. I said good because I like her too. When I told her later on in the room that I went to that side of the club just to talk to her she thought I was full of shit. She thought I only went to talk to her because her friends said something to me. We must have gotten back to the room no later than 2:30.
Fast forward to noon. I got up to take a shower and when I came out she was still sleeping. I did some shit online and did some texting back and forth to my girl in Dumaguete. I had my back turned to her and when she woke up I sarcastically said,"Damn you are still here?" She started b*tching me out because I am so rude. When she finally went to take a shower I put P1000 on the desk on top of her bracelets that she had left there. She finished showering and was taking forever to get ready. I said,"Where are you going, to a fashion show?" She b*tched me out again and asked if I wanted her to go home looking a mess.
We were walking out of the door and I pointed to the bracelets and the money. I said don't forget that. She looked at the money and said what is this for? I wasn't going to ask you for any money. I said oh well you can go buy something for the house or whatever. We went outside and were walking down the street and she just couldn't stop laughing. She said she could not believe that I gave her money because she was not expecting it (contrary to what most here believe that women in PI ALWAYS expect money or gifts). I told her that is the best time to get it, when you are not expecting it. I told her she could give it back then and I started reaching for her purse. She said no it is too late now. At that point I told her she was a really cool chick and decided to take her number and facebook. I walked towards Phillies and she split off and went to the hair salon.

If you do not have a phone for use in AC, I am sure the gal would gladly call for the pick up rather than ride in a trike. I do tip the driver so if you do so, it is not totally free.
