Pattaya Reports

just finished a trip to pattaya so here are my thoughts.

first off i'd like to thank everyone for answering my many questions, and for not being pricks like the handful of guys in the philippines board who try and act like they have power and created a stupid "no asking questions until you post a trip report" rule.

somehow they don't realize that is the most counterintuitive rule ever because the most important time to ask questions is when you have no experience somewhere, but really its just a few assholes and there are still some decent folk there.

i don't have a lot of money and try to do things as cheap as possible so know thats my perspective on all things.

so i stayed in pattaya for 1 month, i got a room at view talay building 1, i wanted to be closer to the action originally but arrived on a weekend and everything was booked, hopped on the baht bus to jomtien walked into that building was quoted 12k for the month, then when waiting in the lobby a friendly guy informs me that if i go right to the left of the entrance to the building to "nana rooms" i could get a better rate and paid 10k for the month.

if i shopped around i probably could have found cheaper but i wanted to get something booked asap as i was only doing 30 days in town, it was on the baht bus route and thats all that really matters, no complaint at all with where i stayed.

for food i ate at a big open air thai restaurant on jomtien beach road, it was pretty crowded most of the times i went, good pad thai for 50 baht same with good crispy pork, also ate at an italian place right next to the bus station that was good, had the breakfast buffet at cafe pascal right across from the marriot was good, and a $2 chicken shwarma inbetween cafe pascal and the area where the baht buses wait to head to jomtien, gave you a huge schwarma for $2 great value.

for anyone that needs reliable internet ais 3g stick gets the job done, not to fast speeds but very consistent.

now to girls. my plan going in since i was on a budget was to get a few beach road girls for 500, or maybe 700 for 2 pops, a few insomnia girls, do a soapie, and i really wanted to do a black chick.

but as we all know plans don't work out, first beach road girl was a little older had nice body in clothes but when the top came off her boobs were the most baby destroyed things i had ever seen.

went to windmill one night really late not many guys in there i sit by the table at the back left where the girls play around. 65 year old man going down on a 19 year old not really what i want to see, this guy is just going to town on her then new girls come in and he is all over them as well, i don't want to be going down on these girls but do wonder if i can go over and start feeling around as it doesn't appear this guy is buying any ladies drinks or tipping, i get my drink and ask for my change to come in 20 baht notes, i'm not buying any ladies drinks but will pass out some tips, the waitress asks if she can have one of the 20 notes (asking for a tip?) i pretend i didn't hear, no lady when you ask you don't get, i'm like 4 feet from the girls and consider moving over when the waitress brings over a girl to sit with me, she says its her 2nd day and she is really shy (who goes to windmill for shy?)

waitress starts pushing for ladies drinks i say no, girl is to shy and want her to leave so maybe a fun girl might sit next to me but she just sits there, debate going over and playing with the girls but now its just me and the old dude in there they know they arent making any money and close up for the night.

i'm not a fan of any bars but the gogo's are definitely not for me, sure if you want to spend $20 to talk to a girl i can see why you might like them, but i'd rather spend $20 to have sex with a girl.

insomnia / ibar is by far the best bet, lots of good looking girls in both go in grab as many numbers as you can get most of them won't turn into anything but if you stay persistent and keep trying a few of them will end up in your bed at a reasonable price, i realize that might not work for guys on shorter trips but you can still offer them 2k and get it cheaper than you will at a go-go.

overall i think pattaya is the vegas of mongering, its bigger, brighter, flashier, theres more girls. but as far as value goes it doesn't rank to high.

i went about as cheap as you could for your first month there, spent a little under $1300 to get laid 15 or so nights in the month, that might sound like great value to some but in cambodia i was able to get laid 20 nights in a month on under $1000

I have never been this place. I thought it was just a Gogo bar.

It is not just that. It is a series of sexy shows that are extremely entertaining.

Vegas quality in my opinion.

I take it you have never been to the one in Nana Entertainment Plaza in Bangkok either? Same thing. Angel Witch is the only agogo that I will take people to besides X-Zone because of the themed shows and it is not just chicks standing on stage like every other one. It is also really fun to be in the show. So if they ask for volunteers break your neck trying to get to the stage first. I have a buddy who comes to Pattaya and the only fucking place he goes is Angel Witch; no other agogos, bars, or discos. He sits in the balcony next to the rail all night and does it everyday.

P.S. There is also an Angel Witch in Angeles City, Philippines. I have never stopped in to see if it is the same thing though.

I never encountered a 500 offer also I moyt say that I always negotiate fir LT. Yesterday tried Baccara GG, but it was indeed too early (Amex was right again. To negotiate there. I've seen their yellow and black signs all over Pattaya, so I decided to check the place out. Mamasan called out the line up. It was around 7pm on a weeknight. I think 11-12 ladies lined up.
