But my case is quite different. I have been living in Pattaya for the last 3 years and lived in Rio de Janeiro before I moved there. So my M. O. is a bit different from the guy who is on holiday and is not able to get much pussy until he gets here and is able to go wild. I'm wild everyday, but it's not in the go into a bar, get a drink, see girls dancing, pick one kind of manner. I really only come to AC for a couple of days after being in a different parts of the Philippines in order to get my Tiger Air flight back to Bangkok, which leaves in a couple of hours.

My last trip to Vegas was the end of a holiday trip. Hot little 20 something Chinese hottie. Her birthday was on the 24th so we did Christmas in San Francisco. Drove PCH down to LA, stayed in Santa Monica and then flew to Vegas for New Years Eve. Had the most amazing dinner overlooking the fountain at the Bellagio from the restaurant in the Paris. That dinner cost me more than a round trip biz class to Asia. Full jazz band the whole night. When the clock struck we were treated to two fireworks displays. One at MGM and the other at Caesars.

I suppose that Vegas in a $30 room at the Stratosphere was a little different. The strip was shoulder to shoulder. Nice to look at from above.

My little Chinese hottie was as usual: Best piece of ass I've ever had. I miss her, not the drama. I don't do P4P in Vegas as I usually bring my own.

Anyone telling you there isn't good food I Vegas is just wrong or doesn't have the money to pay for a good food. Plenty of Michelin rated establishments.

I made a booking with the ABC hotel. They have confirmed my booking but are asking for credit card details to guarantee it. I am not very keen to use my credit card in the Philippines. Are there hotels in Angeles which would keep your room without credit card guarantee. I would appreciate any advice from guys who have booked hotels without using credit cards.

One trick I have used when hotels and such when they want a credit card and I don't trust them is to purchase a refillable debit card (visa or mc) then put on just enough to cover the deposit. You can then give them that number pretty much worry free.

Be careful if that's an issue. I booked ABC online through a travel site, when I checked in they put a pretty hefty hold on my card while I stayed for 2 weeks. Three weeks after checking out they hadn't released the hold. Called them, they said it was the card issuer. Called them and they said it wasn't. Called ABC again, talked to a manager who said he'd look into it. Two days later the money was released. More hassle than I would want.

Pay in advance? What if the hotel sucks? You move to another hotel and lose your "advance" payment?

I'd pay only one day in advance, if the place seems ok after checking out the room.

You usually have to pay first and as you get closer to your set date, it gets harder to cancel your booking to get a refund. Then when you check in, you usually have to put down a deposit for your room in case of damages and extra charges. To guarantee this, they'll put a hold on your card for a certain amount. If you don't accept these terms, just don't book yourself with the hotel. Most legit hotels will follow these guidelines so be warned.

If you intend to use the card in the Philippines notify your bank before you leave; even if you don't plan to use it may want to still notify the bank as a cover-your-ass measure in case of a mishap affecting you, such as a medical emergency. Places in the PI that don't accept foreign-issued cards will often have a notice posted beside or above the POS terminal.

Once they get to know you they won't ask for the CC to guarantee the booking. If this is not your first time and you have kept emails from before just send replay with the old emails attached and tell them that last time you didn't provide CC and you will provide it upon check in. It should be fine
