BTW, what time did you go to Colonze 2 / The Lord. Also, glad that you liked the Lord. Good to see people going to the good places instead of Nataree, which has some starfish / mommy-scar landmines.

In most of the places, the "oil massage" is just the front for an erotic massage where the massage part is the least important.

In Thailand - for a legit massage - ask for a real Thai massage, but as that is quite physical, the masseuses are mostly of the more bulky kind and probably not too young either.

Around here, most massage places are just totally legit (and why wouldn't they be, there are already a ton of soapies nearby for that). The ones that offer extras have over-weight old women. They have "Kapoo" clubs around here, but they are just too expensive for me to go back. Let us know if you find a massage joint that offers extras and has decent looking women.

About these "Kapoo" clubs but I really can't recommend them because they want 2-3 k baht just for a hand job. If you have to try one of them, check out 'pretty relax spa'. It was merely a misspelling of TharnThong, a Soapy / Oily MP with Ancient Thai massage also available a few hundred metres north of MengJai junction on the left. It's an out of the way spot not easily accessible, and very few Farangs would go there other than those living near by. I have been there at least two times.

You can do a Google Maps search for "Taragon Massage Bangkok" if you are really interested. The pin on Map will actually show the location of TharnThong Massage. Here is a pic of the entrance on Google Maps. Sign in Thai script (gold on blue background) clearly says "TharnThong" English approx. spelling.

Normally any reviews would be on a Thai forum only. Although I read Thai fine, I once tried a Thai forum, and found not a lot of useful posts. Thais write rather indirect tangential stuff, and spend more time trying to convey a cool image than giving any data of substance. They include lots of weird noises or sounds somehow spelled out in Thai print and many words that are made up words or maybe teenage talk, not taught in classes nor appearing in dictionaries (anyway I fail to recognise many words appearing there). So it's very hard for a Farang to get anything useful from Thai forums in my opinion, even for guys living in Thailand for many years with a girl who does not speak English at all, so using almost exclusively Thai language and dialects.

In my own research, I did notice that the Google maps image didn't match the image on the website. I figured perhaps the google street view image was taken pre remodel / re-branding. The website shows a photo of the exterior of the building with a "Taragon" sign, but I suppose its possible that it's photoshopped. According to the website there's a shopping theme with different girls stationed at various "stores", e. G. The eye wear store. I'm seeing some talk about kapoo clubs, and I've been curious myself, so I decided to walk out of work early today and try one.

When I walked in at around 3:30 pm, they had a line up of about 10+ girls, all fairly young and in my humble opinion, much hotter and lighter in skin color than most girls at the Sukhumvit oilies. Instead of asking all the girls to come out at once, the mama asked them to step out one at a time, with a quick introduction in Thai. No. 3 with a busty hottie, so I didn't wait to see the entire line up. From what I did see, I recognized some from the pictures on the kapoo forum. At this point, I paid the house 2500 baht for No. 3.

I took your advice and hit up Friend's massage. There was one masseuse inside so I requested her and upstairs we went. She wasn't quite what I'd call a looker, but she was 24 (looked 20) and much better than the usual bulky type. Got a decent but not great oil massage and a HJ and permission to let my hands wander wherever I wished for an extra 500. I was surprised at how wet she was. Anyway, thanks for the tip!
