Difference between Beach Road and Bars
Perhaps someone can help me solve the following mystery. I've visited Patts a few times and, being a daytime monger, I prefer bars and the street to discotheques. In my experience, if you approach a bar girl (even a waitress in some places) in the late afternoon or early evening and ask if she's available long-time until the next morning, mostly she will jump into your arms and exclaim "YES, my big honey!". However, on the Beach Road, if you ask a girl the same question she will usually drop her shoulders and moan "Oh, bad luck. He wants LT." Has anybody else noticed this difference? And, if so, why is that?
