I was staying at Wanchai a few months back, wandered along Lockhart Road and everything seemed busy enough with expats but as A158 says, there's so much activity online these days. Depending on your profile, WeChat's 'People Near Me' mode is like dangling bait in a fishpond! I've also used Blender, Tinder and Date in Asia on recent visits, although DIA needs more up-front work in my experience.
