Yo Vinny .. you sound like you have a point, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

I realize my report largely characterizes myself, but I hope others may find it useful in matching what they put in to what they get out ..

Since that report I've been walking all over the place in Chiang Mai .. I found Pandora, but not Sayuri (didn't carry my printouts ..). One girl looked yummy but glum. Prices ranged from 1500 to 2100. I found numerous KTVs, more glitzy than 99, but much more expensive .. typically 200 per girl per hour, 200 room, 200 service charge, 120 for a beer, 40 for mixers .. so you can easily be out about 1000 with no guaranteed return. I tried a couple of the cheaper ones in Chiangmailand Road and sat holding hands in the dark .. anything more was rebuffed. Super lame. Better thai language and a positive attitude may do wonders. And of course going Asian style with some friends may be great for all I know. I'm not sure I'll find out.

There was one I liked. Just around the corner of the first soi off Chiangmailand, to the right. Sign shows a heart. Very unpretentious place, but it was perfectly comfortable. Bill was only 440 after an hour, with a small bottle of Sangsom and a friendly little **** with sharp northern features. She didn't want to drink alcohol, but I can sympathize with that .. (Of course I don't mean to denigrate her by calling her a ****, I just want to convey that she allowed me to grope her.) She actually protested when I gave her a 40 baht tip on the way out, saying it's not necessary.

On my way back, walking along Chan Klang Road, a mamasan at Vegas KTV offered me VIP room for 3 hours with free mixers for 3000 baht. I think this was all in, and a well-padded young pretty was coiled around me like a python -- more friendly than most of these places. Might have been a good deal if I was feeling human.

After that I went to Spicy where I checked out the human zoo for a few hours until about 3:30am. They let me take my Sangsom in but charged me 150 for it. Would have be great to share it, but I guess I looked like a vampire. Some FL but they won't come right up to you. Also lots of backpackers. One dickhead started punching another and had to be restrained by friends. Girls not amused. One of the interesting couples was a serious-looking short-haired tomboy dressed to look about 15 cuddling with a sexy thai woman in high heels, looking about 35.

Along both sides of the eastern north-south moat there is a sprinkling of streetworkers that time of the morning, but they look pretty rough. Most stand under a streetlights in clusters of three or four, but one was squatting against the wall. Shivering and miserable, smoking a broken cigarette. We chatted for a bit. She didn't look hard, just really mai sabai ..

Based on a note from Nick, I was searching for Anzu Fashion massage, I had a walk till the hospital past the night market at the end off Chang klan Rd near China town but there was nothing to find that looks like a MP, later on I went in the other direction from Chang klan Rd. A long walk actually and there it was.

ANZU is past the Memorial hospital and is not open yet, looks like a old karaoke place since the big sign with girl pictures on the roof is the same as I have seen at other karaoke places, the panel just above the door looks new and say’s Fashion massage, the cement benches outside en inside are new, a lot of dust everywhere and inside and it looks like no one as been in the place for weeks, they must have stopped the renovation works.

But, I have find a excellent Akasuri MP, will get back on that one later when I have a bit more PC time.

Relax express, its below the Centara Duangtawan hotel, going from Mc Donald’s straight ahead in to Suriwongse Rd, and its 200m on your left before the hotel entrance, I took the 1 hour oil massage at 400thb to try out the service (700Thb /2h), Mrs John was with me this time for a change, have to careful now, we get our shoes off and I went back to the front desk to ask for a separate room to get my chance on extra service. The girl told me that would cost additionally 100Thb for a separate room, What? , I could not pull back as Mrs. Was already on here way to the room, looks like the management takes a fee or commission on the extras.

I had lady nr 30, she was average looking, massage is not on a table but the floor mattress same as for Thai massage and it was no big deal at all, few basic movements and lot of oil using, no shower in the room, she was looking in my eyes while massaging a bit in the territory of John Junior and the usual question came, I was not interested in FS or so with here so asked the price for HJ sine I needed it desperately, she quoted 1000 thb, NO way I told here I work in BK and know al prices pretty well, I offered 400, she came with 500, I kept the 400 as a principle since the front desk took already 100thb out of me, I am not a cheap Charlie but don’t like to be treated like a fool. HJ was reasonable and after the shot a bit cleaning up and done.

It was very cold inside the small room, I was freezing away, the name Relax does not honour the name of the place, the Express part yes, as soon as HJ was over, a little bit pulling and punching on my arms and game over.

Conclusion is that you can get the same service and extras in any small MP in the area for half the money.

Important note, they charged also a 100Thb extra for Mrs here separate room and she surely did not go for extra’s. She did not like the massage at all and would never go back, so I had to find better options, will see.

This is a interesting story and nice to discover somthing new

It is next to Chiang Mai plaza hotel, when walking from Chang klan Rd towards the Chedi on the river it’s the first little street right just after the CMI plaza parking lot, the MP is next to a Japanese restaurant, there is a new sign at the street corner saying Thai & Oil massar, yes massar, something must have been lost in translation as the manager does not speak any English at all, only the word. Massar and price, no way to combine 2 words, same problem with the girl behind the desk, the menu is in Japanese and the only thing I could read was Akasuri + Thai 1 hour 350thb – 500 thb or 150min Akasuri + Thai + Oil 750thb, there are a few more things on it but he could not explain to me what is was. It is clear that it’s done for the pure Japanese clientele, can’t go wrong I thought. Place is actually very new and run by the same owner from the next door Jap restaurant.

The young girl from the reception guided me upstairs to the lockers, all very clean and recently painted, she was waiting for me outside the lockers and took me to the wet area, a table with plastic cover as at Sazanka, face down on the table and she started with the body wash with a very special soap, now when I look back at all the years I have spend in Asia, visiting so many straight (or not so) Akasui or soapy Spas, even in Chinese hotels where you get a back rub etc, this must be one of the best washed I ever had. She did it so intensively covering ever square centimetre at least 3 times, the attention and clean up for Junior was more than needed but I liked it, I had already the impression that there was more coming afterwards (optional of course), I have never been able to clean my junior as she did it and I am good at it.

All this took like 45 minutes, the parts from your body where she was not working on are covered with a double folded towel where she pours permanently hot water over to keep you warm, the area was not cold but at good relax temperature. The girl here uniform was soaking wet at the end. When the job was done I told here that I go many times to Akasuri in BK, she said with a big smile, ha yes, sexy Akasuri, I said yes and she asked in Japanese right away if I would have a HJ, pointing to John Junior and making a jerking movement, asked how much, she said 500, OK, deal done.

She guided me to a room all the way at another floor, mattress on the floor where here toolbox was already beside it, she took junior in here hand and trow some thick dark oil on top of it, could have been easily gearbox oil. Must recon that she knows what she was doing with a lot of teasing in the lower area till the final shot came. I was very satisfied and J Junior also, he went asleep immediately. I prefer the HJ done at the end from the massage for obvious reasons but thought, it is what it is, will see. She asked for the tip now and guided me to the lockers to get paid, then she moved me in to another room and disappeared, 5 minutes later an older lady showed up and told me she was there for the massage, explaining me that the young kid does only the wash and all others the massage.

I was so clean that I opted for Thai massage with pyjama for not having some oil on my body, she as good massage skills but after a wile when I was laying face down she asked me – did AN take well care of you? " I know what she was trying to know and told here that AN as given me a very good wash to cut of the final question. Few minutes later she told me to remove the lower part from the Pyjama, starts using a some oil and a nice bit of teasing, of course having in mind she could sell me some extra HJ, telling me, you strong European men etc, I just let here doing the normal job and I did not react much on it but I had again a hard one without any problem. I did not for a second HJ but for sure this must have been confusing for here.

I think that the little girl runs away with all the extra money, never believe that they share the tip if AN does the wet and hard job.

When I paid the bill there was a little misunderstanding, its 1h massage for 200thb + the Akasuri and all together it was 550thb to the manager + tip for the girls, it was well spend money. Will I go back, yes for sure, can’t wait.

[/quote]John Euro, I don't think management takes a fee or commission on the extras. For 400 baht / per hour, a customer gets a mattress pad that's separated by curtains only. You could be in a room with up to 8 or 10 other people. For 500 baht / per hour, a customer gets a private room. This is not a commission to cheat you, or for management to "take a cut".- it's an additional fee to get some privacy and a little more real estate. Some people that are NOT looking for extras might enjoy the private room due to modesty, a more relaxed feel, or less chatter.

However, let me tell you, us mongers should appreciate the private massage rooms. Curtain separation at massage joints leaves the Thai girl pretty inhibited (generally, there are exceptions of course). But I've had some pretty erotic experiences at Relax Express in those private rooms.- some sexual encounters that DEFINITELY wouldn't have taken place if my Thai girl masseuse only had curtains to separate herself from other employees and other customers.

Relax Express is a lot cleaner when compared to other massage joints that charge 200-300 baht per hour. In fact, most of them are heinous. Relax Express is pretty clean, with cleaner towels.- thus the 400 baht per hour price (comparable). Of course, the private room is 500 baht.

I think Relax Express breaks down like this (I've been there about 15 times):

1. You can't pick your woman (unlike OT massage).

2. The women are generally older; but a few young ones work there too. One of the masseuses once told me that 30-40 girls rotate shifts.

3. Hit or miss.- some will only give a HJ, some will give an amazing HJ, some will go ALL the way GFE/MILF style, some are very sensual in every way, some are pretty old and the mere thought of them touching your genitals makes you cringe.

4. Go to Relax Express expecting a average to good massage, in a pretty clean place, with an above average (most of the time) HJ. However, about 25% of the time in my experience, you'll get a firecracker that will do most of anything to please you.

5. Spend the extra 100 baht and get the private room (if you're interested in the possibility of the last sentence of #4 above).

John Euro, wow, getting "extra's" with the Mrs. In the same massage parlor, impressive. However, I think I remember reading in this Chiang Mai thread of a guy getting a HJ only separated by a CURTAIN from his wife. I think he mentioned the masseuses were "in on it" and were trying to keep things quiet, or her distracted, or something. It almost seems like porn movie material

Most of my experience with Relax Express is similar to AsianJohn's. I started going there mainly because it was above par clean and a decent HJ from a decent looking gal was pretty much guaranteed.

An additional 100 baht for the private room (more-like medium size walk-in closet with same floor mattress) is a normal house fee at Relax. The few times I opted for the private room, I got the same service i would have gotten from the curtain arrangement so I usually don't opt for it anymore. However, as mentioned, I believe it really does depend on the gal you get and rapport you have with her that you may indeed get more in a pvt room.

If your on a tight budget or want a different environment...you can also try the smaller, less decor Relax Express around the corner across from the Imperial Mai Ping Hotel. It's 350 for an oily and the gals hop between the two places and the 4th floor Central Daungtawan gym.

You can't pick out of a fishbowl but you can request to see the photo album of gals at the counter. It doesn't include pics of all the gals but will at least get you in the right direction as far as picking a gal to your liking. Also, if you get a gal that gives you memorable service...ask what her number is so you can request her next time or include in reports.

For better or worse, I usually don't choose and enjoy seeing what gal comes around the curtain.

I am not new in this massage business and have been in so many places for massage over so many years, even in de luxury or top straight ones, I have never been asked for a extra fee for having a separate room, some luxury MP’s ask it already at check in. When I am with Mrs we ask mostly for a separate room, our experience is that when only with 2 in a room the girls are talking to much to each other and pay less attention on the job, this explanation fits perfectly in my other extra plan of course, like to keep it that way. One of my tricks it when she ask for Thai, I go for oil or just opposite, than you are mainly sure about separate room due to table or mattress use.

You are right about the cleanness and towels, if you go in a barbershop for a 200thb / h you can't expect the same cleanness or quality, maybe I had a bad or average provider, just bad luck that’s why I made that comparison in total price. Bu you can't deny that it is freezing cold inside the room, that gives not a relax.

I agree with your 5 other points, If t was me I would go back but Mrs did not like the cold and below average massage, yes once in a wile we have to listen to there opinion as well, get back with another post on CMI

When travelling with Mrs on the trailer hitch, I have to follow her advice now and then, play the game by the rules and go with here to the better or upscale massage places because they look a bit more fancy and cleaner than the ones I take sometimes. When I came back at the MP, the two girls are already there and a bunch op Japs in the waiting room, first again the 45 min wash from AN, just outstanding, details have been in my previous report, you can't believe how much attention she paid on Junior this time she gave 4 times a wash and cleaning, pouring a lot of water over him, I almost came in here hands, shit, this was not where I was looking for since I wanted to hold the load for the massage part with the other older lady. Thanks to John Euro I went to Akasuri today, intrigued by his reports I was looking forward to some real wash&clean and a happy ending

I've actually been to that massage place, however a very legit place before. So kind of surprised to see all the constructional changes to the place. I got a cute little spinner which lead me to the lockers as described, undress and down to the washing area. This is a cheapo place, however. Water is water, and it was warm and nice The lady performed well and asked surely about if any extras was wanted. Her being rather cute and young I opt for her to undress. Which was no problem if I tip. So I told her 500, which I really don't think she expected cause she was truly excited. So she said we could go upstairs to the massage rooms and "play" there.

Dried up and went upstars, she stripped completely and I convinced her a DATY which made her extremly wet. I never thought I would do a DATY in a regular massage parlour, but she looked amazing when undressed and the little head took over my mind I am sure I could go all the way if I went back a couple of times. So for anyone who'd like an experience out of the normal in chiang mai, its pretty good. At least for a try!

So 350 + 500 is a good deal for a HJ and DATY if you ask me especially with her looks.

Since I wasn't able to find directions to the massage parlors near the front of the thread, here is my contribution:

Sayuri
go east on Th Charoen Muang from the center of town over the bridge and the river (Mae Nam Ping river). The first left turn is to the bars along the river but continue straight to the next main intersection where there is a light. Turn left on Th Bamrungrat and go about 200-300 meters. Look for a 2x3 foot sign above the road on the left.

Prices were 2500 for M (models) and 2000 for B and non-lettered girls. There didn't seem to be any difference with and without the B because the papasan said they would all do body slide.

This place had the biggest selection: around 30 girls. We got girls here. I had a good session but my friend did not.

Pandora
Instead of turning left to Sayuri continue straight. It's off my map so I don't have the name of the street but turn left just after the Shell gas station on the right. Go 100-200 meters.

About 10-15 girls in the fishbowl. I didn't see anything great.

Prices are 1800 and 2000 baht

Ping Payom
4 Airport Road, Suthep Muang

on Suthep Road just west of Nimanhemin Rd. In between Chiang Mai University and Wat suandok. There is a Ping Payom market next door so you could ask a taxi to take you there.

Small fishbowl (less than 10 girls) and I forget the prices but I think they were under 2000
