Jakarta - Hotels

Classic hotel will not respond email this hotel mainly cater to Local indo businessman you can caontact them by phone to make booking, this hotel is in middle of nowhere not a good location you can book a hotel at Mangar Begsar area like Spark near Hotel travel there are many hotel in this area also near Lopasari Plaza only 10 min taxi to Classic hotel, if you don't know the area just book your first night at the Spark or Olympic hotel and check out the hotel travel for rest of your trip.

Hi all,

Have changed habits from Alila. Raise of corporate rate in 2012. To Morrissey, a nice place between hotel (good spacious rooms, ok service, free wifi, free breakfast acceptable in terms of choice and quality with an egg station) and serviced appartments (no mini bar, kitchen in room, no room service.).

A good option for a multi day stay, no problems as in all hôtels in Jakarta to bring women, ok location in menteng.

Nice restaurant in the building, Ocha Bella, italian food not bad at all and nice cockail list. Independent from hotel though.

Get it for 70€+ in agoda, will try to nego corporate rate.

After finally speaking with the reservation guy, they emailed me a confirmed reservation with a hold till 5pm the day of arrival. Seems they are very busy. If anyone has stayed at this hotel, kindly share the experience.

The others being twice each at Aryaduta Semanggi and Akmani. I like the serviced apartment concept with breakfast and convenient places to eat nearby. I tend to stay three nights and appreciate being able to store large bottles of water, coke zero or juice in the fridge provided. It's fun between "rounds" to cook a steak together in the nude (a nice fat tenderloin cooked rare with sauteed onions and enoki mushrooms with garlic). The only thing is Morrissey uses a quick heat electric stove compared to Aryaduta's gas. But that may be nit-picking. The shower has enough space for two (no bath tub though) which has also contributed to the fun. Buy enough supplies in the supermarket and a few DVDs in ITC Kuningan, and you could quite happily stay in the room with your favourite cewek for a couple of days. Take a room on the 6th floor and the pool is very convenient to get to.

Just booked Favehotel Wahid Hasyim: 500, 000 / night. Seems pretty new, nice and close enough to BATS, CJs, Classic, Malioboro: my four current focus points for action!

Hi, does anyone have any feedback on the Kempinski Indonesia Hotel? Looks nice, but is it GF? Am trying to decide whether I should return to the Shangri-La which I know well (very convenient, but getting a bit stale and need a taxi to go anywhere) or try the Kempinski, which is newer, possibly nicer, better location even though no action on the spot.

Any information would be much welcome. There doesn't seem to be anything reported about this hotel!

It's a hotel, maybe was serviced aptos in previous incarnation, in name only now. Not much difference between the two studio units. Go for bigger one and on higher floor, but still will be street noise, and gym is 2 treadmills and some dumbells only. Do NOT get the one-bedroom: it is on two levels, with BR small. So many hotel options in this immediate vicinity, wouldn't go out of my way for the Morrissey, it's ok enough though on brief stay. Not really the place if you're looking to impress your dates. Passable Italian meal for only thirty bucks sans vino, a rariety in Asia.

Pelosky[/QUOTE]The Kempinski is very much Girl friendly. In case you love mall hunting, PI and GI is closeby. It's also a convenient location to tread anywhere, whether Blok M or to Gajah Madah, Classic etc.

It has a fully functioning kitchenette with a cooker hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, pots and pan together with crockery and cutlery. There is a common access washing machine available for use. Yes the gym is limited, but I would find the 1 bedroom full of opportunities. Anyone for fun on the staircase? The Studio executive is noticeably larger but I'd be fine in the standard studio room. I have brought dates back, and they enjoyed the facilities including the DVD player plus a reasonable range of TV channels. As you say, the bistro downstairs does provide decent enough food so you can have your date downstairs before proceeding upstairs. The only downside is the mosques nearby can be a bit loud. Avoid the street noise by getting a room facing the hotel car park. IMHO none of the nearby hotels compare, although Akmani is not too bad. Avoid Cipta hotel as it's a Syariah hotel, which wouldn't be very conducive for our hobby. Akmani does have the plus of having in house "massage" facilities though. On the other hand, the fewer of you who stay here, the easier and cheaper I can get my room, so please do not book a room here.

Anyone wanted a comfortable hotel room in Mangga Besar area should consider this hotel.

Came to Jakarta for a 3 night fuck trip early April and wanted to stay at Hotel Travel but it was full. Tried my luck here, just right beside Hotel Travel and vacancy was aplenty. Took the Deluxe Room (IDR450k) and paid cash. Requested a higher floor away from noise and was given one on level 3. Comfy sized room, air conditioned, clean sheets and shower room and tiled floors. Most importantly, not noisy at all. Only caveat, breakfast was shitty but food stalls were easily accessible.

Also, walking distance to Stadium, the usual spas, Lokasari and legit Bluebirds can be found easily. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the report! I looked in at this hotel last year and it seemed adequate. Great location with it being right next door to Hotel Travel.

Just to be a nice guy: Yes, you can take them hot out of the Bat's oven, directly to your room.
