This actually struck me as an interesting question. From my experience... no girl that I can recall has ever refused to shower together, LT or ST. However... saying that, when I was with a new girl that I never was with before, thinking about this, I realized that majority of the time (not all the time) we shower seperately at first. However, after doing the deed we generally shower together.

You stated LT so I assume you are not talking about MP's and Soapies which shower you. Good question. Enjoy your trip and maybe we'll run into each other.

I arrived finally to BKK from New York. Taxi from airport to our hotel costed around 350 baht. I am surprised by how hot it is here! Great weather... really excited. Here just for 3 days on business so want to make the most of it... would love any advice/thoughts while I am here...

Walked around Soi 22 where I first found a massage place with pretty subpar girls. The girl quoted 700 on top of the 300 at the desk for just a handjob, and wanted 1500 (+300 at desk) for full service. In the end I brought down the price to 1500 in total, but I believe I still overpaid slightly especially because she wasn't particularly anything special.

Anyway we also checked out Nana which had a great atmosphere. In the end I found a stunner for 2800 ST including ST hotel (300) + bar fine (500). I think she was worth it and is definitely one of the most beuatiful girls I've seen here since arriving. She's given me her number so I'm thinking to invite her to the hotel, but not sure what price to offer (and ideally could have her over for an extended time period)

I am curious if my budget is up to 3000 per girl, where can be find the absolute stunners here, best value for money etc? The soi cowboy & nana areas seem very touristy. We saw a few amazingly well dressed asian beauties but no idea where they came from... any thoughts?

Try Poseidon 2000. It is a more popular area for locals and they price differently for farangs like you. BTW, for ST, you paid way too much.

Spend some time looking through the board and you can find some stuff downtown. There was a great massage place I went to with a local friend. Can not remember the name of it unfortunately for you. The manager during the day was great at recommending who is great. I learned all about their interviews. There is no sexual harrassment in those types of interviews. Now that would make me want to be in human resources!

Never met a girl who would not shower at all.
However many are too shy to shower with a guy at first. May change her veiw later or may not.
Bar girls who dance nude everyday should be less shy.
wayward girls will be willing.

A good place to go shopping is Soi 33. The atmosphere is much more upscale (and the prices somewhat higher) than Cowboy and Nana. You'll see lots of long dresses.

In addition to the street-facing bars -- many of them with the names of artists like Monet, Manet, etc -- don't miss the sports bar hidden in Livingstone's boutique hotel in the back by the pool. Look for the big elephant tusk arch on the left side.

I like Soi 33 very much and I agree but..... his budget is 3,000 baht.

Soi 33 Bar Fines are 1500 to 2000. Late at night you can get 1000 BF but the girl would have to be desperate to accept 2000 baht for LT. Plus I'd say there are a collection of bars you DO NOT want to hit on 33 due to questionable practices. So Soi sahm sahm I don't think is a good idea for the poster.

Plus we all have a different opinion of what a stunner is.... So hard to advise on his question IMHO.

I guess stick to NEP, Cowboy, Beer Garden, Bamboo Beer Hall, Nana Parking lot. Personally... Bamboo Beer Hall has been good to me over Beer Garden and Nana Parking Lot. But don't tell anyone :) Of course the same girls generally make the circuit of all the places.

Last time I was there, about eight months ago, the ST wa 1200-1500 and LT was 2000-2500B (i.e. LT was 24 hrs long). Have the rates really gone up that much or are the newbies paying too much?

Anyone know where in Bangkok (preferably near Nana) where I can buy a power adapter/converter to convert from bkk wattage to US wattage? Last time in LOS I had to rough it and couldn't shave or cut my hair for 2 weeks!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Duni,

Are you talking about the rates in general? If you are, there are quality girls around for that price range and many for far less. Somewhere specific like Beer Garden, Bamboo Bar, Nana, Soi Cowboy or Soi 33? You can get rates 1/2 of that easily at the Beer Garden and Bamboo Beer Bar. That is too high for those bars. The Beer Garden is still a 1,000 to 1,500 baht LT option. To me, the pickings are slim there. You can still get those rates at Soi Cowboy and 1,500 LT there is still possible, and at Nana it will be a little harder but still possible.

The Nana girls are pushing for 2,000 ST and 3,000 LT. Many will drop and the top end girls hold their ground if it's busy. You will not likely get those rates in Soi 33. I would consider LT to be closer to 12 to 15 hours.

It's a nice option, right across the Grace Hotel on Soi 3. Look for that Pizza joint and it's right next to it. It's not like the Beer Garden, where you have some action in the afternoon. Most of the fun is in the evening. Booze, freelancers, pool tables, live band, dancers. Worth a look.

It's known as the Bamboo Beer Bar, but the sign out front says Bamboo Pub, if I'm not mistaken.

First time in Bangkok, what is a guy to do?

The more research undertaken, in this forum and others, the more confused I became. In the end I went with what seems to be a few longstanding benchmarks of what Bangkok has to offer:

1. Eden Club. Decided to pick the best looker whatever side of the line and then offer her the choice of who was to join us. Turned out just fine. Vim (my choice) was 'trim, taut and terrific' and Lors (sp), her choice, turned out to be passionate and oh so into getting my rocks off and hers as well! And, a great kisser to boot. In China, every man should walk on the Great Wall. In India, everyone needs to see the Taj Mahal. In Bangkok (Thailand) every man needs to experience the joys of the Eden Club at least once in his life. Some describe it as formulaic. No doubt after a number of visits this may be true. But, for this mug punter, what a great way to be introduced to the exotic delights of Bangkok. No anal. As it turned out both girls came from the other side of the line. Instead, highly skilled oral (TC) and multiple tag team callisthenics with three pops was a great way to start 24 hours of debauchery.

2. Annies. Undoubtedly the highlight. Huge mixed messages about the quality of facilities and services at this long time institution. Apart from the efforts of Mamasan to convince me to go for one or two of the 'aunties' in the fishbowl, I could not fault Annies. Opted for Aor (#11), despite protestations from Mamasan, and could not have done better. Young, enthusiastic, great kisser. The list goes on. Standard format as described elsewhere but the lingering memory is one of someone who was good fun and so wanted to please. Fantastic! BBBJ, FSx2 and HJ all in a wonderful two hours of pleasure.

3. Arkane. Tad unusual here. For the most part service as described elsewhere but limited to HJ with masseuse remaining in lingerie throughout. Based on other posts, I suspect my propensity to go for looks cost me in terms of experience, resulting in service delivery by a newbie. If this had been my only experience in Thailand I would have been sorely disappointed. But as it turned out, the wash was great (I wish more Aussie WLs would indulge in this practice! ), the massage was skilled and the tug was ok too.

Back in the land of smiles later this year and cannot wait to build on this foundation!

Since when was long time 24 hours ????????????????

I am not saying it is impossible however don't take it for granted that the girl will stay for 24 hours.

Many "Nana" girls expect to leave at 7am so it is a good idea to check first, never assume anything.
