Also allow time for travel from and back to the airport, for check in and do not forget that at some airports and/or airlines in China need you to collect luggage and check in again when leaving the airport. If you can get you luggage checked through to your final destination then that would be good. Use luggage storage at the airport if you need to.

I am not familiar with Shanghai so cannot offer anything about who to contact but you should check the operating hours of establishments to make sure they will be open when you want service.

Fifteen hours should give you plenty of time to do what you want if you plan you travel in Shanghai I. E maglev, bus, taxi etc, preplanning will pay dividends.

After requesting some help here, I wanted to follow up with my report on my brief stay in Shanghai. As I had mentioned, I really had only 1 night for mongering before my activities were restricted.

First, some logistical advice for those not use to visiting China. I strongly advise you to install a VPN app on your phone before going, as this will greatly simplify communication for you once in China. Google is blocked, so you will not have access to your gmail or the Play Store either, so downloading apps after you are there becomes more challenging. I learned this firsthand, and although I was able to work around it, it was a pain before I managed to get the VPN app installed. So go ahead and download and test a VPN app and WeChat before you get to China.

Once I got WeChat installed, I looked at some of the ladies from the sights recommended here (Shanghai Nights, Rain.). I tried to set something up with Rain (I guess that is her name?) for one of the Rain ladies for later that evening, but Rain said the lady could come right now. That wasn't a good time for me, so I was trying to think if I could rearrange things for an earlier meeting. Rain became very impatient when I didn't answer her immediately (I mean within 5 minutes), and she texted "Answer!" Immediately followed by another text "I hate guests like this". What a *****! I found it ironic that it took her hours to respond to my initial text to her, yet she expected me to immediately answer her on demand. I then told her I wasn't interested as I don't like dealing with a bad attitude.

So based on some recommendations here, I tried to set something up with Beverly, thinking it was a safe play. She responded back promptly and we set a time for her to come visit me. I asked her to text me 30 minutes before to confirm we were still on, and so I could give her the details. The time came around, and I never heard from her, so I texted her. I tried initiating some contact at a couple points during the massage, but was rebuffed, so gave up and resolved to just enjoy the massage. She also asked for 300, which I flat refused as I had already decided I would give only 100, and if that wasn't accepted then I would be happy with just a good massage. She gave a terrible massage, applying no pressure at all, really just a very light touch massage. She did enough teasing to try to get me worked up so I would cave on her 300 demand, but that was her whole end goal. Classic prick tease. I enjoyed the approach of the girl from the first massage much more, as I was able to relax and enjoy the great massage, and only later did we talk money. This one did not focus on the massage at all, and was lazy, and was only interested in milking money from me. At the end, when I continued to refuse her 300, she said it was over. More is probably available at this place, and probably at a much better price, for non-gringos. The doors do all have a window in them, and when I tried to hang my clothes over the window, I was told no, so I can't be too sure how much they allow to take place there. I'm sure there are much better values away from major hotels. Thanks for your advice guys, and I wish I had more exciting things to report, but my time was just too limited.

10 hours should be plenty to get ST hotel and girl or incall. Rain has incall and a few girls from nightlife. Online will do hotel ST and service.

I would say Shanghai ain't that special or cheap anymore for quick unless you never had a Chinese girl and have to sample local talent in the home country, LOL.

There is a review at that famous HK site that extras are available at the airport massage hotel place.

Too risky when she finally gets busted a la Stephen. For quick visitors, it probably doesn't matter.

I see Rain getting a lot of flack here but I've used 2 times and no complaints. First time booked for now, and second time for next early morning. Girls showed up on time, performed as expected and were very eager to please. However, both were quite inexperienced, and claimed that they have been in the business less than 1 year. For Beverly, I really wasn't holding back any information, and I did in fact tell her I was at a hotel in Pudong, but she never asked the exact name so I just figured she would ask when she was ready. I wasn't really too upset over the no-show, because as I said, she was very nice about it, but at the least, I think she could have responded to my texts asking if she was coming. She never did respond until well after our appointment time. Sorry, but I'm not willing to take all the blame for our miscommunication, if indeed that's even what it was. If she needed more information to feel comfortable with the appointment, she could have asked for it at any time, and I would have given it to her. I think more likely she just chose to blow me off for whatever reason. At least she did finally respond back and apologized, so I appreciated that and told her no hard feelings, and we'd try again another time. Unfortunately, I never had time for another try.
