Looks like travel to Cuba for US citizens has been relaxed under Barrack Obama and did not change after Trump's sanction order in Sept 2019.
You do have to declare purpose of your trip in one of the 12 approved categories for a license by State Dept and airlines can obtain that license and Cuba's visa for you with the ticket.

Went to Hong Kong Sunday about 4 PM. Azul's sports bar was empty. There were not too many hot girls.

If you can't quickly and flawlessly convert dollars to pesos in your head while in whatever inebriated condition your brain may be in at the time, Don't pay in pesos. The US dollar is accepted nearly everywhere in Tijuana and the money you'll lose in trying to make conversions in your head will far exceed anything you may gain in the exchange rate. I suspect that's why paraditas prefer pesos--they make a windfall off the 1 in 5 mongers who can't do currency conversions while plastered. It's certainly not because they can't do currency conversions. Putas may be, in general, one of the stupidest life forms to ever inhabit the planet but their arithmetic skills rival any supercomputer.
Another common mistake that is lost in transmission is doce and dieciseis: they sound very similar the way most Mexicans pronounce 16 and especially in a noisy bar. You might think you negotiated 1200 pesos when she actually said 1600. Just stick with dollars unless you really know what you're doing.

This guy has been going to La Zona for 30 years, but never learned a single word of Spanish and the numbering system in Peso. I have to do all translation and calculation for him. Hopefully the clubs open up in a few weeks, seems like everything is starting to open.
