F.[/QUOTE]Actually, I stayed at this hotel last fall and it's not next to the University, it's actually within the University grounds itself and caters mostly to people visiting the university. This being so, I was kind of reluctant to partake of the "hobby" as there's just too many spying eyes around/too close to the reason why I needed to stay there.

But the 'urge" being what it was, I did wander out and found some little local places close by. I walked it but it's quite a walk and thus you may want to taxi it there. Basically, as you walk out the FRONT entrance of the hotel (not the entrance towards the you grounds) turn right and keep walking until you reach where your street is a flyover over a cross street. Go down this cross street and there you will find a few massage/footsy places/BBS etc. Very local but OK. At least it was last year.

The Canton trade fair is coming on again - and as is usual, there are going to be a lot of you 'relative newbies to GZ' coming over.

And as is usual, there is going to be lots of you asking questions, for recommendations/suggestions etc... and NO replies.

The reason for this is that we the China boards have regularly seen this "phenomenom" happening everytime the Fair rolls around or something or another happening in the locale - and I'd opine that most of us are just too jaded to reply, knowing from past experience that we do not get anything in return by way of reports back or any additional intel on the scene. On top of everything else, we are always wary of the single digit poster asking for specifics, for there could be an LE lurking behind such new names.

Our hobby is very much still illegal in China and whilst tolerated,(since the demand from the locals is very much there), the authorities are equally eager to portray a nice and clean China to the foreign community - and thus ISG seems to attract unequal attention.

Having said that, I would suggest that you do please read the thread thoroughly as there is already a ton of useful information contained herein. And there's nothing worse than a guy asking questions when it's quite apparent that he's not already RTFF.

So my humble suggestion - please do read this thread before you ask your question - you'd probably get a better chance of getting a reply then.

For those of us who live here, April and October, are the worst time to be in GZ. Prices for everything go up and the town is full of BSDs with deep pockets and no brains spoiling the market. It always takes time for the girls to come back to reality even after the fair.

That said, the crackdown is still going on and it is more difficult to find action in Guangzhou, which means the laws of supply and demand will increase prices even higher.

I am looking forward to the end of the fair and the Asia Games when I hope things will be back to normal.

I also urge newbies to RTTF and be informed on pricing to maintain stability in the aftermath. I am sure that there will still be many BSDs without the benefit of ISG access spoiling the market but at least the ISG brotherhood can help.

After being out of Asia for 3 months I will be back in November. The scenario described by OAH is the reason that I postponed my trip for 4 weeks. The "BSDs with deep pockets" make it more or less useless for me to be on the road. And even a few weeks after the fair we will feel the effects of this non standard "demand and supply" situation.

My experience is that newbies and also BSD I know are not so much interested to follow existing standard procedures. They mostly argue that they want to support WG they met and that they don't care about their impact to the market. They come once or twice a year to Asia and for them it doesn't matter if they pay twice or threetimes prices as usual. They want to feel good.
Therefore I gave up to convince them. And I avoid the area during such peak times.

I will be in GZ for the fair duering the peak time and I am obviously one of your mentioned BSDs although that I normally do not spoil any going rates.
However I do not really get it why WHOMER posts exactly OAH meanings and both posts are pretty much the same what SEAJ posted lately.
Is there any reason for repeating the prejudice words about the peak time visitors?
Anyways once that I get to GZ I will post some details about Craigslist-ads and massage-outcall szene.
Lets keep the Forum going....

I am planning a trip to Guagzhou and Shenzhen next year and wonder what are the options of pussy in China? I am very much familiar with Thailand, Singapore, to some extent places like Macau and Hong Kong. But what about Guangzhou? I know it must be more "underground" in the Mainland China but is there a chance for a foreigner to get a hot chick fix in a dedicated establishment? I have nebver been to China before and have zero knowledge on how things work there. I'd be thankful (even for a link to some older posts answering similar questions).

If you had read a few more posts you would have found that Guangzhou is not what you want, should go to DongGuan board for info in CP, which is located between Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Please be BSD and spoil the going rate! GZ used to be a much better place with guality WG to be found when price was higher. Price is too low so the better, younger girls don't work in this city anymore.

It is more expensive to live in GZ than in places like CP and if a 22 year old can get 1000 in BJ, SH, why would she stick around GZ when the going rate is 200?

I am just so sick and tired of all those 30+ years, fat and ugly in all those bars and walking the streets. Sure they are cheap, but they also driving away the younger girls. Just MHO.

So SHtraveller, please find out where we can find these better quality and report back. As far as I know, there are still a few, and they work in bars that are more popular with foreigners, Paddy Field, Hooleys, Bound, to name a few.
