actually Bangkok has 12 months for mongering but Jakarta seems to have only 11 months for it (fasting month around 30 days).

I'm a big believer in following my gut feelings in any situation - if something doesn't feel or seem right, then there's nothing wrong in bailing out. There will always be another girl available, sooner than you think, especially here in Jakarta.

This is my first report about experience with JKT psot classifieds. Recently called a number. Rate agreed 500k for three hours. Girl turns up, and nothing to grumble but says only two hours. The balance one hour for travelling. Gave a good massage and full service. After a week I got a sms from another provider (apparently the first one has given my contacts) and promised to send a young and a sweet one but the one turned out to be a devil. I have to send her back giving taxi fare 50k (she demanded 50usd!!!). Then the provider calls after a week apologises for the mistake and sends another one. Rate quoted 500k for two hours but brought down to 450k. This one is also good but half way through realised that she was milking. Did a quickie and sent her away. These days this is the best way to avoid risk at hanging out at the open MP's etc.,

There's not much in the way of full service places on Jalan Jaksa itself, although you should find some free-lance girls easily.

RTFF! that is, read the f---ing forum. While you are apparently visiting during Ramadan, when most of the free-standing MPs and spas are closed, there are several places still open. Check out Oyenk's recent posts.

For example, Oyenk recently posted this information: "Hotel Classic Spa; Located in Jl. K.H. Samanhudi pasar baru – Jakarta, Telp : 021 3852115" which is located fairly close to you. Also, Hotel Travel isn't that far away.

The "Reports of Distinction" section is particularly good for Indonesia, please check out the posts that are referred to in that thread.

Now that we've given you some guidance, my colleagues and I look forward to some informative posts on your experiences in return.

I've been living (and mongering) in Jakarta quite a few years now. I do agree that on the average, the indo girls are more gfe than the Thai girls (although I've had some sweet Thai girls who were fantastic gfe's as well - and I think the Thai girls are also better looking on average).

However, if you are trying to tell people that Indonesia is better than Thailand for mongering during Ramadan, I think you are providing some misleading information. When it's not Ramadan, I'd say they are about equal - if you know where to go in Indonesia - (for a first time visitor to southeast asia I'd always recommend Thailand over Indonesia.). During Ramadan, if I were given a choice of the 2 places, I'd go with Thailand every time. Even though I have knowledge of many places in Jakarta and have a stock of many telephone numbers, I still don't particularly care to be in Jakarta during Ramadan. As a matter of fact, I try to avoid Indonesia completely during Ramadan anymore. 7 years ago Ramadan wasn't much different from the other 11 months, with the exception of the occassional "ninja" raid on JJ's. But it seems that ever since Playboy magazine came to town and caused the "pornography" crack down, the city just isn't as fun anymore. Damn Playboy.

There is a dangkut cafe at Ancol just before you reach Alexis hotel. Around 12mn (presume close early these days) there are a quite a population of girls who work there hanging out to be picked. I know one girl who work there (some of them worked in a MP at Mangga Dua which was closed beging of the year) and through her was able to get some really good ones. Not hooker type but very good at passionate play and they enjoy too.

I agree that there are few things more irritating than a new poster using his first two posts to ask the same question but there is something about this RTFF thing that bothers me. You see there are now literally hundreds of pages of information going back several years available here and whilst it is a gold mine of information the specific nuggets which one seeks can be hard to come by.

The search function I find to be very poor, or perhaps I am using it incorrectly, let's say for instance you want to find information, as this guy did about Jalan Jaksa, well of course that information is going to be on the Jakarta thread but what you need is the specific dates or post numbers of the relevant posts, instaed when you type in "Jalan Jaksa" you will merely be directed to the Jakarta thread in its entirety with no idea where the information you seek is stored, certainly when you do find a mention it will be highlighted in red but heavens above you have to wade through a lot of pages to find them.

For them who came as visitor during ramadan, they can choose hotels around Mangga Besar - West Jakarta. Most population are Chinese people who are Buddhism and Christian. Most of them also work in hotel in that area. So do not afraid to eat during ramadan in that area (just be aware of it). Chinese people also provide pork in their restaurant. I mentioned 3 hotels that have good service and economics (around 25 USD for standart room) in thread info...please find it.

Other area I suggest to stay during ramadan are Kelapa Gading, Sunter and Pluit (North Jakarta). The majority population also chinese.

* I believe most spa/bordello which open during ramadan also in that area. For example: Classic (bro Mighty Spearsman mentioned), Travel, Malioboro and many others (see in my last updated fuckshops)

Yeah, damn that ninja...now they act like they own this country. Most of that ninja were from outside jakarta.
