In my book, as long as a member responsibly makes the effort to read the thread and not ask what was just previously asked, or can be easily found in the thread, I don't regard it as a stupid question.

The reason for your question is simply that you are asking it before you actually opened up the Google Translator and tried to use it. If you had tried to experiment with the Google Translator online, you would have seen that the Translator types out your English language message in the Russian letters automatically, and you don't have to do any typing of Russian letters to use it. All you do is go to Google. Com and at the top of the page you will see Menu headings. Look for the menu entitled "More" and click it for a dropdown list of additional applications, and search for one entitled "Translate". Click open the Translator and you will get a field in which you can type English, above which are tabs you can use to select the languages you want to work with. If you click the tab, it will present you with a large selection of languages you can translate into. Set it up to translate from English to Russian. Type an English message and when you click "Enter" it will translate your message into a mesage written in Russian. All you need to do is copy / paste the Russian message back into the translation box, switch the direction of translation by clicking on the arrows between the language tabs, and hit "enter" to translate your Russian message back into English to check it. If it is correct, then you can copy / paste the Russian message you created into a message box on mamba. It's that simple.

If you want to be able to do some more sophisticated editing of your Russian message, it is also no problem, because Windows allows you to load the Cyrillic alphabet, and you can create a keyboard guide to use by simply typing out all the keys on the keyboard, and spacing them similar to your keyboard on a printout sheet to keep next to the keyboard and guide you as to which key will produce the necessary Russian letter when typed.
