Now if you're president, that's a different story. What are the chances Hunter will go to jail while Joe's president? Some of the rest of it, I'm not so sure. Why did Trump put people like John Bolton and Mike Pompeo in the White House and the Department of Defense in the first place? I also don't buy that Mike Pence was Machiavellian. He was doing the best he could. Like you and me, he liked many of Trump's policies, and was just doing his best to cope with a very difficult boss.

Trump kind of dug his own grave at Mar a Lago. You and I wouldn't put him in jail. Or at least I don't think I would, not having heard all the evidence the jury will hear. But this is the way the Department of Justice operates. Trump didn't do much to change that while he was in office. He in fact was pushing the DOJ to prosecute Hillary Clinton for a while.
