Yes, thanks for the correction and info, Frannie!
I think you will find it is called the Napolitano. Just pointing this out because some taxi drivers are pretty dumb and may take you to the wrong place if you say Neopolitano. There are some casas de cita just off the Malecon next to the Jaragua hotel on Av. Pasteur. You can easily walk there from the Napolitano. Less than a mile. However there are pimps hanging outside these places trying to pick up commissions by getting you inside, so remember that if one of them ushers you in through the door that is 500 pesos or maybe even 1000 pesos added to your bill before you start. These places also sell overpriced drinks. However they do have some pretty girls. Another way of locating casas de cita is to use taxi drivers. Of course they too are in on the commission game for steering you into a given club, so you really cannot win. Good luck anyway if you have to stay in Santo Domingo. If you get a chance you might want to spend a night or two in Boca Chica, which is close to the airport.
.
The cab from La Isabella would be at least $175 (I think) to POP to get my car. I will not have to negotiate as I have a confirmed reservation.
That is an average gringo fare. You can walk out the airport and talk a better deal. Going straight to the rental place in the other direction than finding what you like, agreed price and process is time consuming. And I hope the cab driver does not charge you for taking you to the car rental place. That whole process will cost you about what? $58 car $60 gas $100 airport drop off in POP and?$ cab ride when you first arrive. Not including the time to do this process. If Metro is out the question again I would just pay the $175 between the two of why'all. When you get off the plane relax and head straight to your destination. Let him drive you relax.
Call this guy, he is also on Whatsapp. Ask him to meet you from your flight with a car. By the way, the entry into the highway that takes you north up to Nagua and then to the Sosua area is close to the International Airport anyway.
I must say that although I am willing to chance driving, I'm not willing to take a chance on a small rental company. I am concerned about insurance and backup should I need it.

I save $80 or $100 drop-off fee (I have 2 separate reservations with 2 different companies) plus I estimate $45.00 for cab to car rental at 33 kilometers. I also estimate $40 for gas which I had excluded from my own first estimate. But I will save aggravation and arrive refreshed for the main activity. Any suggestions for a known and respected driver would be appreciated.

Looks like it will be a cab. The bus will get me in to late. Short vacation so I need to make the most of my time. Does anyone have a reliable driver at a set price to recommend to take me from Joaquin Balaguer International Airport, Avenida Presidente Antonio Guzmáand Fernández, Dominican Republic, not Las Americas, to Puerta Plata Gregorio Luperon International Airport, Dominican Republic?

Spa Odisea visit
Greetings gentlemen,
I just got back from the DR. I travel to the DR often and have had many experiences there, good and bad. Mostly bad because I'm a dumb ass and always think with the wrong head if you know what I mean. Like most of you I use this board for getting important information. You guys are great and I need to learn more from you. If I screw up with this post, give me time. I'll eventually get the hang of it. If anyone knows how to attach pictures within a post, please tell me how or direct me to where I can learn.
I love massages. One of my goals in life, other than becoming rich and famous, is to travel to Thailand and experience "a soapy". While I was in Santo Domingo, I checked out Spa Odisea for a Nuru / Soapy Massage. Long story short, it was a somewhat disappointing massage with no sex. Well, I got a HJ but I don't consider a hand job sex in the DR.
If your heading down the main street, named Washington Ave, you will see a wall with Coplan Plaza on it.
Take that street and when you see a CASA sign, make a left into a parking lot. You'll see a door, the only door, at the end of the building.
Once inside you'll get a line up of the girls. When I went, the mamasan or whatever gave me a hard time telling me I needed an appointment before I can get a massage. After a few words, she went into the back room presumably to talk to the boss and get permission for me to have a massage. Surprise! She came back saying that it was OK for me to get a massage without an appointment.
From the line up, I picked a tiny spinner and off we went. I forgot her name, but she was a college student about 21 years of age and spoke great English. No tits but a beautiful face and cute tiny butt. She was topless for the whole massage but she kept her bikini bottom on. I was allowed to touch everywhere I wanted. Which was very frustrating because when I spoke about sex, she was very firm with saying they do not allow that here. So slosh slish went my massage and out the door I went.
It wasn't expensive at all. I think I paid about 2500 pesos or so. I don't think I'll go there again. The room was clean and the neighborhood didn't look very bad. My search continues for a soapy in the DR. Thus ended my first post.
The address for Spa Odisea is as follows;.
Spa Odisea. Coplan Plaza, Av. 30 de Mayo. Esq. Toms Rodriguez de Sosa. Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.
I can rent after I get to Sosua but it would involve taking a lot more time to get there and not saving much money. I have a car reserved for $28.00 per day. But after taxes, fees and drop off (Not insurance which will be a separate charge) the rate climbs to $58 for an intermediate. The drop off fee is $100 so I figure I will only save the drop off fee plus gas if I take the bus. Plus I will need to take a cab to the bus. I'm weighing my options by checking with you guys.
Personally I have never rented a vehicle in Sosua (I rent in others towns or walk around, in Sousa) so no idea about price there. It also appears you are both in a hurry and also need to save. They do not go together.
Here is what I have done in the past. Land at SDQ, grab a concho (I travel light), and then from the intersection of Highway, taken a bus to Parque independencia. From here, the car rental place (Nelly rent a car) was really close where for a Kia Picanto I paid about $140 for a week, booked earlier online, without insurance. The catch of course is that I returned the car to the same location. Total transport cost to car rental from airport about $10 but I was in no hurry.
Good luck!

Thank you, Mr. Gogo. I am looking forward to finding a bevy of busty beauties to bounce their bikini clad boobies in the pool as a prelude or postlude to mucho amor.
Sure, Napoitano has a disco. It's several little colmados within walking area. My favorite is right around the corner at a place we call "Gogo park" because of preference to just sit there and do nothing with the fellas. Walk out of Napolitano facing the ocean and hang a left and walk two blocks. You will see the park and two stores with the plastic white chairs outside. Either have a seat or get a bottle of brutal and cup with ice and have a seat at the park with the ocean as a backdrop. Watch out for Wendy though. She speaks perfect English and is very cute but she is a crack head. You can also take the 29 minute walk up to Elvis Conde for a few watering holes. Hope this helps. Also the' Luis has good food and it's right past the park on the makecon.
.

Good luck!
The OP is landing at La Isabella / Joaquin Balaguer airport (JBQ) and not Las Americas (SDQ).
(But did you actually go from SDQ via motoconcho and guagua, to Av Independencia, in order to rent from Nelly? There is a Nelly office right there at SDQ, I'm sure you know.).
To the OP: If you could make your way from JBQ to Av Independencia, Nelly would be a nice choice to rent from. I looked on their website and doesn't seem like there'll be a surcharge to originate there and drop off at PUJ Punta Cana.
Please do report back. There are virtually no "cross-over" Haiti--DR reports. I'd like to read about your experience in both countries in one trip.

Yes, concho from airport to the highway intersection of SDQ, then guagua to Parque Independencia and then on to Nelly on a street parallel to el malecon about 10 minutes from Independencia, the name eludes me. Actually, I forgot, they came to pick me up as is their won't. Great adventure!
I avoid rentals at airports, even at Santiago which is a much smaller and closer to the city, airport.

.
It may have not been expensive but when and mongers says " I don't think I will there again". Enuf said. $2500 I don't think I have ever paid more than $1500 with sex. I will admit. I have never been in room other than my own or on a lounge chair on the beach. Good luck on your search.

Your report
$2500 I don't think I have ever paid more than $1500 with sex.
Mr. EdWhy,
I rarely give less than $1500 when I assist my girls. But then again I'm dealing with girls that are in a totally different socio economic status (SES) than others in this forum. (Think FAA Class A airspace). It's your money. Spend it how you like. Thank you for your report. I enjoyed it.
Oh snap! I'm making it rain pesos up in here again!

As far as paying more, paying less back and forth, it is all a mental masturbation.
