Well, I found action near the Mac Thee Blvd (spell) and HBT crossing. Also so motorbike girls in the area, but too scared to try.
I'm staying at the Indochine hotel on HBT and a couple girls told me it was friendly. Does anyone know for sure? I haven't tested 'em at the desk.

If you mean the bar on the corner of Mac Thi Boui and Hai Bai Trung then I warn you that the mamasan will not negotiate to reasonable prices. Last time I had a heart to heart with her she wanted VND1.2 mil for short time and was looking for more bar drinks as well.
Also be aware that U2 is a dive and you would not want to see the women in daylight. The new bar on MBT also has an unreasonable mamasan.
If the girls are telling you that Indochine is OK then it is almost certainly is. Whether hotels are OK for them is something they are very careful about. But I have not found a hotel charging more than US$30 that is GF.
1) I've tried the HBT bar, more for the experience than really looking for P4P. Girls are quite cute, and it's not expensive (girl drinks at VN 50,000), but girls drink fast. You can play on a nice pooltable, if you lose you pay VN 100,000 to the girl, if you lose you get a 10 seconds strip-tease - and the girl is not very good at both pool or the strip-tease. Service is totally lousy, chairs are unconfortable, the mama-san is unfriendly. The girl volunteers to make a blow-job in the backroom (which I declined, I only want FS), and expects a tip even if she does nothing (which I didn't' give).
2) 2 girls on a bike approached me - a young cutie and the mamasan. I was of course promised the moon: US$ 20 for 2 hours boom boom. At the hotel, the girl wanted VN 300,000 for the hotel - I knew the price and only gave 200,000. Then in the room, the mamasan entered to collect the fee - that makes me feeling unconfortable, and you can't lock the room door - I only gave VN 400,000. The girl didn't undress, and just wanted to give me a blowjob. I quickly got tired and went down. The girl put me on a bike, who drove me back to the hotel, then sped up without waiting for me. I think that they had stolen VN 100,000 from my wallet as well - I hadn't taken my credit cards or much cash with me.
Well, so you know what to expect. I guess that I need more experience to reach the level of Asian Rain and become a real monger who can have true boom boom at VN 300,000 including video taking. The financial damage was very small, but the service very miserable. I don't see nice bars where to really relax and enjoy company of nice girls - unlike Thailand.
But I love Vietnam - really good food, and very nice people at the office. Lovely girls too, who said they wanted to take me out, but couldn't do it now due to the Tet family obligations. Will be for next time.
many viet locals advised me not to use the bike girls for the same reasons stated by Smile. By any standards, street scenes are in general to be avoided.
Viet food is more superior than thai's but the mongering scene is way far behind. Can't have everything!

Besides from the facts that SMILE noted, they are also dirty. Most likely, they carry diseases, and have to resort to being a bike girl. That is the lowest form of a call girl in vn. It's like you paying $10 to a crack***** to get off. Be more wise in your decision and always bring the girl to your hotel or no deal at all. Also hide your wallet or values particularly if you have a girl staying over night. However most hotel will give you a call when the girls leaves. What you pay for is what you get.
though this has been said many times over in the forums, i believe that it's still worth to remember very few golden rules related to mongering in general and especially applicable to motorbike girls.
having said that, if you follow these simple guidelines, you still may land a gem on wheels, which i did on occasions. remember though that as probability laws have it, there will be misses, but they're the price to pay for the good times: nothing comes free.
1- never ever accept to go to a hotel or place where the girl or her papasan or mamasan want to take you; you'll be totally powerless, on their turf and god only knows what they have in store for you. at best you'll pay for a service you will not get, at worst you could get robbed and beaten;.
if the girl means only business, she'll accept to follow you to your place of choice. also, as a safety measure, even the small mini hotels do ask for the girl's id before she goes up, which may be a deterrent. having said that, i've seen girls using other girl's id's ... still your hotel staff are there as potential help to you.
2- never pay up-front and certainly never to a third party such as mamasan or papasan. insist on paying the girl after the action and don't be shy to let her go if she refuses: this way you keep control of what the girl will do and her attention to do what's been agreed upon. you may curse yourself later for having let her go sometimes, especially if she's gorgeous, (as i did once or twice, and still regret it ...), but certainly less than the deception of having paid for nothing and being cheated upon.
you may accept to pay a small tip to the mamsan (i give them around 50 000 dongs) for her help, but no more.
you will not ensure thereby that you'll get the lay of your life but at least you'll keep your chances of being laid to be even...usually, the papasan will remain close by your hotel waiting for the girl to come back in any case.
3- make sure that you have locked up safely all of your valuables and or anything that has value (wallet, money, phones, spare batteries, jewellery, eye glasses, credit cards, mp3 players, earphones, eau de toilette, electric shavers, etc.) before the girl comes in, or as you get into the room. leave nothing in your pockets or bags easily accessible.
i have had a ***** steal a phrase book from me when she didn't speak a freaking word of english. she'd put it in her belt trousers in her back ... while i'd felt her pockets and bra ... for nothing. the only consolation i had ... was that i had fucked her anal and it had been a bit painful for her.

SWS: Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. It happens to all of us in all situations. The advice by K1001, especially points #2,4,5, are golden rules. As I have stated in many of my posts, the moto girls working the TMK strip ALL use hotels in the back alleys. If you are travelling for more than 5min, then you are being taken for a ride.
Also, I must stress that it is VITAL never to pay the girl - or mamasan - in advance. I ALWAYS say that I will pay after the act, not before. Once you have handed over the money, you lose all negotiating power. Almost all girls ask for money upon arrival at the room, but I always say "boom-boom one, money two" so they understand the order of things. I'm sure that some girls have been ripped off by customers, so getting the money up front is a legitimate concern. For one particularly skittish girl, I took out the money and put it on top of the TV to let her know that I'm going to pay. No problem after that.
I always negotiate video in advance, but I have experienced lots of girls that try to back out of video in the room. When they realise they are not going to get paid, they remember their promises very quickly.

In Da Nang there is the Royal Hotel which has a nightclub next door. Take-out is available at closing time. There is also a HC that provides in-room service.
In Saigon there are GF hotels near Benh Tran market and near HBT/MTB areas. Check out details in the forum.

I was in DaNang last year and stayed at the Bamboo Green on Bach Dang St. near the river and bridge....Bamboo III they call it. Nice in room massage service. There's a disco on Dong Ha Street across from the Saigon Tourane Hotel that has take out but very expensive. Cafe Linh also across from the Tourane provides FS girls for about $75 USD room included but I prefer hunting the locals.
