I play as a single most of the time
Hello Gents.
New to the international guide but active state side in the pacific northwest. I'll be visiting Pattaya for a week or so in June 2024.
No issues working out the night scene from doing a bit of digging but I am trying to get a so better info on golfing out there such as courses to play, how is golfing in the rainy season?, logistics from the beach to the courses, etiquette, any hidden costs, etc.
Any info would be appreciated and I thank you for your time.
I have used a couple of golf travel companies, but currently I use Thai-Ger Line. They arrange everthing. I tend to try and play as a single and like to start early so that I do not use up a whole day on the course. They will give you a quote for the entire cost, except caddy tips. Includes transportation to and from the course, greens fees, cart fees, caddy fees, and all taxes and service charges. I have found them to be responsive and fair. You can go to a number of bars that organiize golf trips on a weekly basis or sometimes more often. The down side is that you will be part of a large group and paired randomly and the bus goes and comes back to the bar based on when everyone is finished. The cost is a LOT less for certain. I have also used Golf Asian and been happy but they seem to concentrate on a wider area but similar service.
