I'll be there and have nothing responsible to do from 10pm Wednesday night until sometime Friday. Last time, I went to Cafe Rojo which was pretty good. The time before that, I went to that massage place on the hill, which was okay. Never been to 121, but can't see that lasting. I would prefer NOT to drop much below Cafe Rojo quality of girls and facilities, but not MUCH more expensive, either. Where does that leave me??
Also, anybody ever play poker at the casinos? I don't think the Hilton has it even though an independent site said that it did.
Cafe Rojo was one of the better values for the # of girls that I saw. I don't care much for places once they get real busy though. It's a place I'd go early and leave before the croud.
I liked NightKat too. Not quite as professional but they have a few nice girls there.
As I won't be able to walk very well for another 6-8 months after my motorcycle crash, I will have to live through you guys going back there.

3-Star VIP, Legit Girls
As many of you know, it is best not to make solid plans on your arrival night in Quito, because sometimes you don't. That was the case the other night as we had to divert to Guayakil, wait a couple of hours, stay in a flea-bag motel for a few more hours, then fly back to Quito. So, the non-working part of my trip became condensed to a day and a half.
I had a nice lunch. I don't think I've ever had a bad chicken in Quito.
Prior to last night, I hadn't spent much time in Gringolandia. Beginning around 7pm, I walked around from bar to bar with Tung's maps and my tourist map so that I could consolidate. That was actually quite easy, and I'll see if I can make a nice overview map to go along with Tung's series of local maps.
I have no idea the name of the bar I sat at, but it was adjacent to the main square. It had mostly outdoor seating and a 2-person band was providing entertainment. During one trip to the restroom, I had a little Spanish small talk with an adorable girl waiting her turn. In fact, despite the fact we were in the center of Gringolandia, the vast majority of patrons were Ecuadorian, and many of them were quite pretty.
For the next 30 minutes, every time I looked up, that sweet girl was making shy eye contact with me. Immediately, I thought she and her equally attractive friend must be hookers, but then I'm an optimist. I paid my tab about the same time they did, but the girl made one more glance then walked down the street.
I decided to throw caution to the wind, and ran to catch up with them. My gimmick was my cheap umbrella which I used to cover their heads in the rain. We struck up a conversation and ended up going to a couple of clubs together.
It turns out the girls are beyond legitimate, both working for a large company while going to school. Age 23 and 29 respectively, they both live with their families, which was evident by the worried calls as the 'late' hour of 9pm approached. Anyway, it turns out that the girl really did like me. We sorta' cuddled and took pictures together. Then, after she got in a cab, I held hands with the other and walked about a mile down to the park where she got her taxi home. Anyway, nothing else could have happened the rest of the night to ruin it. I need to send my personal trainer a gift certificate or something, because those rearranged 30 pounds must have made a difference, as this sort of thing hasn't happened in a long time.
So, the point is that, if local girls are available for me, they probably are for you, also.
Enough romance. Off to the casino where I made a few dollars, which, of course, is all you need here. After perusing the nighttime choices, I decided on VIP 3-Star since Tung frequented there more than anywhere else. I took a taxi to the intersection of Republica and 10 de Augusto. I was dropped off on the dark and closed side of the street, but managed to find an open entrance across the divided highway.
The place is fairly disgusting. I frequent some of the dives in Costa Rica, and this place is right down there with them. Many of the locals were celebrating Day of the Dead Eve by emptying beer bottles as quickly as possible and filling up crates with them. By the way, when Tung says large vs. small beer, he doesn't mean 6 vs. 12 ounces. He means 22+ ounces in the large $2.00 beers.
A bouncer saved me from a table of shit-faced locals who were (literally) spitting unintelligible Spanish in my face. I went to the back corner of the establishment that was somewhat quieter in terms of humanity, anyway. They hand-selected a (the?) skinny girl to be my partner, which was nice. In general, the girls were borderline hideous. Mine was hardly an exception, but relatively speaking, she was top tier.
After bilking me for several $2 Whiskeys and thoroughly searching for something better, I bought a ficha and went to the back. We literally squeezed a guy out of a tiny room as he put on his pants. We undressed and I sat on my pants which were the only barrier between me and the sheet that had been used countless times that night.
She placed 2 condoms on me (a first that I can remember) and immediately hopped on even though I was barely ready. I asked about a BJ first, and she said that would require a tip. If I was a little ready before, now there was no hope. To her credit, she sensed my dismay, and started to give me a double-covered BJ. I basically let her do that until the knock on the door came (the ONLY thing that came), and I was relieved to stuff what remained of my dignity into my blue jeans and get out.
I talked to a couple more girls and bought a beer for the road. I returned to the casino where I promptly lost my earlier winnings and another $50.
So, if I were here on a 6-month stay, I MIGHT consider VIP's and similar establishments. But, for my 2-day business trips, there is no way I'll go there again. Actually, maybe I'll just marry one of my two new girlfriends who can take me away from all of this mongering stuff. Nah.
I doubt much is open today, but I'm going to try 817 and report back.

Hey buddy,
I emphasize with your first day there. You sound like good guy and you don 't need those 7 dollar chongos ruining your trip. Do me a favor and try 817 and Cafe Rojo and report back to us. On the other hand, I'm grimey and disgusting and probably need to visit 3 Star (LOL).
Seriously, I've never been to Quito before (only mongered in DR), but I'm very close to visiting this month. My decision rests on what information you and the other board members posts.
You posted the chica put "two condoms" on. This is some disturbing news. First, when in DR 99% all the chicas performed BBBJTC. I believe there's only two reasons why she may have done this A)She felt threatened my your appearance / demeanor / mileage or B) She may guilty and contaminated and wanted to protect you. I definetly feel its the latter. I wonder whats going to happen when I come to Quito in my "baggy jeans" and "white tee"?
Anyways, I'm hopeful you will post again so we can hear more about your trip.
P.S. You have two beautiful nonpros that are "feelin you" so you don't need to pay for puataty anyways. Leave that athit to me!

The fog can be a problem sometimes. I had it delay my last flight by 30 minutes while we circled in the air.
There are a lot of local girls that aren't hookers that are easy to pickup. They aren't necessarily as easy to get into bed. They are happy to go out and party with you though..and you get to pay for their drinks & food. I've met half a dozen or more without even really trying.
I'm still getting messages on a regular basis from my Christina so she might be a keeper. She's never asked for $$ or anything. She's a little smarter puta than most of them. She at least knows how to help guarantee repeat business.

Cafe Rojo is a good place to go. $20 for 20-30 minutes. The girls aren't allowed to get drunk so you won't be dealing with a buncha girls that need to lean on booze to get through the day - unlike me :)
Quito is one of my favorite cities so far out of all the CA/SA places I've been. You'll like it.

Quito Trip
Thxs for the info David. I need your advice on a hotel to stay. I prefer an apt/condo for my 10 day trip. I figure if I get a spot close to massage 817 or Cafe Rojo. Then I can cab it to the other chongos, clubs, and other nonpro spots. I don't need a 4 or 5 star spot, but I do need little space to move. Any advice, addresses, phone numbers will be helpful. I'll be sure to post on my experiences.
Thanks in advance! Price range should be under 50 bucks.

Bigsmoves,
I have been to quito 5 times and my wife is from there, although I do partake in the extra activities when there just because she works all the damn time and I am frigen bored, but in general the women there are a lot more conservative, even the working girls, then the DR chicas. I have had several do the 2 condom thing and they have a lot more sex ed in the schools there. So, if you are looking for BB sex, not the place to be in Quito, but the local regular women are so friendly. They make great wives in Ecuador. Not great Ho's IMHO

Honestly.. I would stay in a hostel close to the action (Some hostels in quito are more like apartments). Corner of Jose Calama y Reina Victoria (and within a block of there in several directions) are B&B's and Hostels. Jose Calama at that intersection for about 2-3 blocks in either direction is where you will find discos, restaurants, cafes, internet places, etc. It's really the heart of the night-time gringolandia action. Hostels in Quito in that area are actually pretty nice. They are around $9-15 a day for your own private place w/ private bath.
I have stayed in the Alameda Mercure also. It's nice and the security said you can get the girls in. Just need id. It's about $79-$100 a night on average. It's got a casino there also (Monte Carlo). It's about 5-6 blocks from where I just described. Easy walking distance.
A bit of advice. Do some research in here and read past postings by people. People are expected to do a certain amount of research on their own. A few months back we were talking about all sorts of hotels, etc. There haven't been that many posts since then. People are more willing to help you with advice if you have specific questions about specific things.

There does seem to be quite a bit of potential for a good wife-catch there.

By the way, if you get a hotel right by Cafe Rojo you'll spend all your time and $$ on taxis. And one under $50 by the airport might be hard to find. Cafe Rojo is pretty much by itself -- it's right by the airport. Most of all the other casas are in the gringolandia area or within a mile or two. There are so many places to checkout why limit yourself to cafe rojo?
I tend to come in and stay in a hotel the first night and then move to a hostel. I get in so late it's just easier.

If you do not mind spending a little more for an apartment, than you should check out La Colina Suites. It is very close to la nina and guajira. You will be two blocks from 6 de diciembre, and it is about a ten minute walk to no bar. Five minutes to night cat. The price is about $70 a night and you will have a one bedroom apartment that is chica friendly. Free airport pick up and breakfast. A lot of hostels have apartments but I feel uncomfortable bringing in different women . There tends to be a lot of people just hanging around in the hostals.
The less people coming here the better.........
Some people are just meant to stay home.
Someone should start putting up photos of the really ugly women. They're out there. Just let everyone see.
You have a point there.
Sad to say though, I've boinked some really ugly women in my time compared to what I've seen on these boards.

Peace
Thanks, but 70 bucks is little pricey for Quito. I'm coming there to slum it. LOL. Could you give me some info on the hostel apts close to the action?

Hotels and Restaurants
I am coming to Quito in a few weeks and would like to know the where the better hotels are located and maybe a few names of good restaurants.
Thanx,
Rosita
Rosita,
Well, if you want nice hotels ($$$ expensive) Marriot is one as well as Sheraton and they are located at the north of Quito (nice part of the city). Both are located close to nice clubs and restaurants (very few dollars by taxi to any nice place and restaurants). Of course there are some other nice hotels, but I consider these ones good and no so expensive in the area.
For restaurants depends on what you are looking for, there are some for meat as the Argentinian restaurants as well as good for Italian and so on, all are close to these hotels and as well as the disco clubs.
Have a nice trip.
