The Maniacs that runs those criminal gangs will never adapt to society. During an half-informal peacetalk between with a group of gang-leaders and represants from the authorities, one gangster just pick up his gun, shot the guy next to him, put down the gun, all in a blick on an eye, and then continued the conversation that nothing had happend. This is part of the real life in MDE that tourists know little about, but once accepted as more than a tourist, people has started telling me thing that are horrible that goes on in a scale that we foreigners from the 1st world can not imagine.

A human life is still not worth much in Colombia.

Extreme inequality in incomes and possibility are the 10th worst in the world, only is it worse in 9 African countries according to cia. Gov / factbook. In spite of the "success" with Plan Colombia" and Uribe's huge popularity, he or his generals authorised the killing of peasants and nameing them FARC-member, in Colombia commonly known as "falsas progresivas".

Medellíand has now the reputation of being an super-innovative and business friendly city, the best in Latinamerica. But it is still very dangerous.

This is not an issue of Medellin per se, but everywhere.

I have always questioned the value of all these field reports, going into detail about a woman's name, and specifically what she did, and whether she let you touch this or that. Go to places like the Germany FKK forums. The recommendations and flag postings go on and on and on.

I understand that some women in general give bad service. And if you see a pattern of repeated compaints, then it is probably true. But sex is a fickle thing. Men (and women) can be in different moods at the time depending on what is happening that day. Or a woman's "chemistry" might be better with one man or the other.

Except for repeated red flag offenders, I would place much more value on the vibe at the moment. When you walk into a club, NEVER swing at the first pitch. Look for the smiling but shy person in the corner I always say.

I think we can leave it at that without questioning members' attractiveness, personal hygiene, skills in bed and willingness to venture outside the Poblado though.

You also have to consider relative expectations. I had a buddy who was also a young guy, went down to Costa Rica a couple times and were always amazed by the "rave reviews." I think the older you get, the more impressive a piece of flesh is. That's probably why the old ladies stare a hole through me at the retirement home lol.

Just know that in MDE you can find whatever you want, and if you don't, it's likely your own fault for not doing your due diligence, settling too quickly, etc.

The airport is a hour away and via credit card we have to charge $45. There's fees tolls, gas, parking, ATM fee to pull out the cash. But for the three guys that might share a sedan. What's $15 each in hindsight?

Not saying you are inconsistent, I just find it funny that both complaints come up so often.

Use good judgment and good sense in any situation. If a girl made you feel good, give her a tip. If she is negotiating hardcore at the outset, walk away. If you didn't have a good session, ask yourself why. It might be her fault, it might be yours, it might be circumstance.

The last segment of you post is very true. I would like to comment on the "Cheap" part and give the community a great tip. Be cool! Do not be cheap!

Cheap is never a good characteristic, smart with your money is a good thing but cheap is not. When's the last time you said "That guy is such a fun, cheap, guy! We should chill homie!" Said nobody ever!

I was just putting up the profile of the loser gringo down in Colombia and cheapness is a major and prominent trait of the mongers down in Mede. Cheapness is offensive to me and is a major character defect and a detriment to your long term success. Think penny smart and dollar foolish.

Por ejemplo. To the best of my memory this is the story) A few years ago some member posted a story that he had a date with a great looking "normal girl" they had a great time, good chemistry, ect. And she asked if it would be ok to get a pizza to take home to her kid and mom / grand ma / baby sitter. Well the dude flipped out / did not react well and came on the board to be like "She was trying to play me. Can you believe that?" Most replies where of the "for a pizza? You flipped out over a pizza?" Think about it; this guy got a hold of the legendary and elusive (for board members) Regular Girl and he ruined any chance he had to get laid over a $7 plain cheese pizza? The smart play would have been to get in front of it and look for a angle to play. During the time they had chatting and stuff (you know like the stuff you do on a real date?) he could have earned those quality points and offered to send some left overs or a small cheese pizza home for the kid. Some of the senior members use the phrases "Kill them with Kindness" and "Only good energy"; both apply perfectly here. You look like a cool, thoughtful, kind, considerate guy for the cost of a cheese pizza! By not playing it smart the member now looks like a cheap, stingy, suspicious, tight wad, and chances of him fucking the regular girl in no like 0% How would you like to be seen? Cool guy or Cheap guy?

Por ejemplo: (same as the example posted above) A few years back one member went down to the Compton Swap meet and got a "Betty Boop" tee shirts and brought it down as gifts. Every / the only girl he gave one to was so happy and pleased that she fucked his brains out! An added benefit of this is if you do hook up a girl with either a small gift or a act of generosity / kindness and she acts like a it was no thing and is not grateful, well you prob have a hard core pro or a total ***** and chances are you're not going to get a GFE, more of a pump and dump. For the pice of a $10 tee shirt he got the good service & GFE he wanted. No iphone, no trip to San Andres, diner at LLeres, none of that junk. And you get info into the type of person a girl is. Played smartly!

The rules of the game are exactly the same in most walk of life. It's the ability to apply them and find angles to play is a real skill.

I've had some experiences with local guys who flake out, or try to be sneaky and evade paying their fair share. Once people start seriously drinking, they conveniently forget the liquor isn't free or think the gringo will pay for everything in the end anyway. Heck even some of your gringo friends can be real flakes when it comes to paying the bills.

My advise is to state your intentions or budget before you order anything; I usually offer to pay half, or I offer a specific amount. You can also tell the waiter that you want to pay immediately for every round of drinks. If anyone gives you a hard time, just say you're low on cash tonight because you forgot to take out money from the ATM, or just blame the ATM and say it didn't accept your card. When it comes to matters of money and paying for things, Colombians are filled with excuses; you can fight fire with fire and give a flaky excuse or evasion, as they are accustomed to hearing them, LOL!

As for the pizza anecdote, that does seem a bit petty or silly. However, I want to point out one thing: in the rich Western countries, it is considered tacky to ask for something extra to bring home for yourself or a family member. But it may not seem such a big deal for a lower class girl in a poor "Latin" country who's never been exposed to the "rich West" values. If a poor mulatta girl from the coast asks for a freebie, I wouldn't take it personally. Heck you can work it to your advantage. You can say in a teasing or playful way that you'll do it for a kiss or a hug. Turn it into a teasing game or flirtation, that's a quick way to see if the girl is interested in you beyond your wallet.

The 2 I'm interested in most are: Geraldine and Wendy. Someone warned me of using a girl's full name online so I'll leave their last names out unless you want to PM me. I plan to book a room at the mansion, I heard unlike Sportsmen's Lodge in Costa Rica there's a cover charge to go in the Mansion if I'm not staying there?
