Other choices might bethe Swagman or the Southern Cross hotels are in the range of 2000 to 2500 php. Of the two, the rooms at the Southern Cross were nicer. All three hotels are located around the corner from each other.

Both the Swagman Hotel and the Southern Cross Hotel have buses that run from their hotels in Ermita (Manila) The Swagman and the Southern Cross hotels are just across the block from the Best Western (La Corona) ... Easy to walk there to catch either bus.

Both the Swagman "Fly the Bus" and the Southern Cross bus are 600 php and probably a bit more comfortable than a public bus for just a little more money.

Of the two, the Southern Cross is probably the larger and newer bus.

I have used both. Another advantage will be that either Swagman / Southern Cross bus will drop you at the major hotels here in Angeles whereas you will be at the mercy of the infamous Angeles City Trike Mafia at the Dau bus terminal to get you to your hotel.
