I think what is a turn off is that these guy are rolling different and it is a personal choice. The guys are straight sport fuckers. It is hit and run slash and burn. It seems to me that a lot of the places like DR are changing to become just like North America and rest of the First World. I always liked to travel to places that were different from this. It is getting harder and harder to find. I see that a lot of the bars and clubs in Sosua and the social interactions there are starting to reflect their counterparts in north america. I find this sad. The wolf pack behaviour and the coldness you mentioned is exactly what I am referring to. I saw it happen in Slovakia where I grew up. Things were very different there before the communist system broke down. When I visited back right after the Iron Curtain fell it was a vibrant place and was great to travel in, but inevitably after a few years things changed and now when I am there I don't even notice I am away from north america.
