Ventured out to Darmstadt arrived a little after 4 pm.

Walk from change room into club area to be met by Hanna (24 yo Ro) - old friend.

Ventured to room solo this time, held hostage for 2 hours which was delightful. Did not see Hanna again as she must have finished and left.

I then had some dinner. New format much improved with buffet set and other options served from kitchen.

I then thought I would refresh and go in search of other options.

Unfortunately, intersected with Angelina (Egypt late 20's, tattoo down leg) on the prowl (previously banned from Palace and at Oase oil 8 months ago) - she comes on strong, several times, lying on top of me and playing with the merchandise, last refusal met with a gentle knee in my balls (the lady is displeased). This led the same scenario as occurred at Oase a couple of times where she tries to cock-block other girls and tries to tag for a three some. It was one of the factors that dissuaded me from trips to Oase.

In any case, the line up on Thursday was not great for me. I talked to few ladies, saw some Romanian talent with potential and an elegant petite black gal. The environment in the bar area / surrounding barn with the heat and smoke was not great. I tried to refresh outside (2 degrees C) and circulate but to not avail.

I contemplate a latish trip to Mainhattan but decided to leave around midnight and get ready to fly the next day.

Most disappointing day I have had at Sharks. Line up at Artemis was much better earlier in the week.

If may be just me but is Angelina the new Sylvana (does not take "no" for an answer). Was a swap done in the January transfer window between Sharks and Oase?!

Every time I've been in Sharks, it's been all girls. Some of the women behind the bar are great. It still boggles my mind that they're so genuinely upbeat. I can't imagine that would happen in America if a club like this were legal, any attractive young woman working there would likely be surly.

* The job isn't paid in part by tips (so they're not incentivized to be customer-oriented).

* The job isn't prestigious, its not like they're associated with a famous brand.

* And there's sex in the air any woman in the USA In such a situation would raise the "b**ch shield" to 100% to deny guys even the privilege of exchanging a friendly smile with them.

And yet, I've found the young women at Sharks (and Palace) are friendly and attentive to your drink requests. Amazing. At Oase, they've not quite as nice or young, but still professional, and that's fine too.

Europe isn't known for great service outside of high-end boutiques, so anyone have insight on why this is? I can only think that finding work may be tough, or they have some personal interest in the enterprise (related owner or retired WG but that doesn't seem to be the case.).

If your approach is off, then service quickly falls too.

Most of the girls at the bar are former WG. Maybe that's an explanation.

It could be that they make a decent flat sum per night from the club. And that sum is good enough for them even without the need for tips.

I know a few security guys who work at normal nightclubs and discos in Germany. Starting off the pay is 150 per weekend night untaxed. A pretty doorgirl who checks ID's or a pretty barmaid makes even more. FKK clubs usually have at most one "trained" bartender that can make a "Caipirinha". Mixing redbull with vodka does not require skill. People who work in jobs that do not require skill or specialized training, know they can easily be replaced. So if they have a relatively, well-compensated job and can be easily replaced, isn't that reason alone to be nice to customers?

I do feel sorry sometimes for the Sharks barmaids who are constantly on their feet weekend nights. They either need to augment their staff for weekends. Or set up some self-service drink machines for non-alcoholic drinks. At GT and LR, the WGs are allowed to go behind the bar and pour their own drinks.
