PM Aussie Greg, but more than likely the answer will be "no". They do not allow anyone in unless that person is staying there, or (possibly) if they are fully booked. If you are not staying there then just go to the Liquid Lounge.

So is Liquid Lounge ok with anyone coming in to monger or is it a dance club that has a strict door policy like some clubs here in Manhattan NYC. Also another chica-Yamii just added me on her facebook-friend of Geraldine any 411 on her?

Wendy is a very cool girl. She only responds to Facebook so just hit her up there if you want to see her. She travels with other forum members so she might not be available when you are in Medellin. However, she is worth the effort IMHO.

If you are going in a group, might as well take taxi because you need to factor in another 7k-10k to taxi to your final destination.

I rarely Post as I am a person who watches what people post. I will not go on about the prices I see here. But from what I see they are.

Very high for the normal person if the want to have fun. Most people that live in Medellin just laugh at what people that are posting and

If you want some economical solutions to Mongering and another place to look for a nice time. But if you are only here for 3 or 4 nights than

The high prices are what you will get. But if you stay for a couple of weeks then I can help you find things to do. I already know everything is relative but for me it is better to spend your money and have fun at the same time. So if you need information about Medellin let me know and I can help you for nothing.

I was just putting up the profile of the loser gringo down in Colombia and cheapness is a major and prominent trait of the mongers down in Mede. Cheapness is offensive to me and is a major character defect and a detriment to your long term success. Think penny smart and dollar foolish.

Por ejemplo. To the best of my memory this is the story) A few years ago some member posted a story that he had a date with a great looking "normal girl" they had a great time, good chemistry, ect. And she asked if it would be ok to get a pizza to take home to her kid and mom / grand ma / baby sitter. Well the dude flipped out / did not react well and came on the board to be like "She was trying to play me. Can you believe that?" Most replies where of the "for a pizza? You flipped out over a pizza?" Think about it; this guy got a hold of the legendary and elusive (for board members) Regular Girl and he ruined any chance he had to get laid over a $7 plain cheese pizza? The smart play would have been to get in front of it and look for a angle to play. During the time they had chatting and stuff (you know like the stuff you do on a real date?) he could have earned those quality points and offered to send some left overs or a small cheese pizza home for the kid. Some of the senior members use the phrases "Kill them with Kindness" and "Only good energy"; both apply perfectly here. You look like a cool, thoughtful, kind, considerate guy for the cost of a cheese pizza! By not playing it smart the member now looks like a cheap, stingy, suspicious, tight wad, and chances of him fucking the regular girl in no like 0% How would you like to be seen? Cool guy or Cheap guy?

Por ejemplo: (same as the example posted above) A few years back one member went down to the Compton Swap meet and got a "Betty Boop" tee shirts and brought it down as gifts. Every / the only girl he gave one to was so happy and pleased that she fucked his brains out! An added benefit of this is if you do hook up a girl with either a small gift or a act of generosity / kindness and she acts like a it was no thing and is not grateful, well you prob have a hard core pro or a total * and chances are you're not going to get a GFE, more of a pump and dump. For the pice of a $10 tee shirt he got the good service & GFE he wanted. No iphone, no trip to San Andres, diner at LLeres, none of that junk. And you get info into the type of person a girl is. Played smartly!

The rules of the game are exactly the same in most walk of life. It's the ability to apply them and find angles to play is a real skill.

I don't see the advantage of going to this place versus one of the many strip clubs. I wish the place luck though.

I left and went to one of the many other bars in the area that had live music and many regular chicas. I like this area a lot. After meeting some regular chicas at a bar, I walked back to Liquid and it was completely dead so I walked over to Fase Dos and saw some nice eye candy.

I hope it sticks around too. To me it needs to better define its identity.

I could not agree more even though I'd like to visit first hand the lack of defined concept and identity is that is hurting this place. Like the Doll House a few years back. To me from the start is sounded like a bunch of dudes with money to invest and nobody on the team had any night club experience. More like a bunch of guys sitting around and one said "You know what would be cool?" and then the rest of them agreed and off they went with out any thought to what happens next.

From early on they said that this place would focus on gringos and what not. You can't focus on tourist money exclusively. With over 15 years in the Restaurant and Hospitality industry experience I can tell you that locals and regulars keep the light on and tourists pay for your big house and fancy car. You have to keep the lights on to make that dough. There is a reason why Moe let's Homer, Barney, Lenny, and Karl drink none stop at his bar. They're his only customers! LOL!

You can't be a cool night club spot and a working girl depot. The one time a pretty "regular" girl is propositioned as a working girl that info will spread lilke a cat video on Facebook and no groups of people looking for a good time will go. As for working girl Depot most Gringo Mongers that live down there are too cheap to go (see my cheap rant a page or so back) , New guys already have the mansion girls and aren't they the same girls anyways, and with casas, mansion, and other strip clubs there is SO much established competition that clearly the market will be hard to break into. Where does that leave LL?

What made the legendary "Hope" disco in Brazil (You hear about this place like it's Heaven on Earth) or was it "Help"? Black Beards in the DR, Sports Man in CR, Madahos en Argentina (that place was $$$$ but the Women were so fine!) or even LDV in Cartagena so successful?

Got to crack that code if LL want's to stay solvent. What are we doing wrong? Is the question they need to ask and what can we do better?

I'm actually surprised it took them this long to enact such a policy. Blackbeards in Puerto Plata has had this as a rule for years.

Wendy has the chocha de oro complex though. She is hot but swears she's the best cuca in Medellin and she's far from it. If uou are already FB friends the battle is won. Just set up a time and place and have multiple back ups since they van be flaky. Specially Wendy.
