There is a chance for Wednesday that places will be open, but not sure given the current political situation and crack downs. I would try Malioboro, Hotel Classic, Hotel Travel. They usually stay open more than anywhere else. Thursday, everything will likely be open.

You can try call other establishments to check their opening hours next week. You can get their numbers via Google map app.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time even trying the places. I would go on Tinder or wechat and look for girls there.

I could not get into ISG until today due to a forgotten password.

As things are getting tighter it may be closed longer. BATS always tended to be open, but only soft background music and all the lights are on. A few girls will drift in, but not too many. Instead of walk of shame it's pick-up of shame in full glare.

Easiest thing to do is call the hotel and see if the clubs are open, or send them an e-mail. Don't be shy they do answer.

Best option as has been mentioned previously is WeChat / Tinder. They are all up for it in Tinder, including those dressed up in Hijab. Just dumped a Hijab wearing lady who was getting a little too clingy. In her early 40's, an ex-model who had basically decided she wanted to find her religion!!!! First time I met her she was all party dress, wine and pork, even though she had some pictures of herself in a Hijab on Tinder. She took a guilt trip and went full time Hijab wearing, no pork, but still a little wine. Wasn't a hint of a walk of shame taking her into hotels. And as for the rest, well she was a bit of a porn star, loved toys and loved to send photos when I wasn't around. As with all of them she is rather tarnished and had her psycho moments - I don;t deal with drama to well (why should I) so when she kept talking about commitment it was bye, bye to her. So for Jakarta I take it plain and simple, anybody on Tinder is there for one reason, and if they play offended, just dump them and block them :-)

Had to stay in Kelapa Gading for work for a week. Stayed at a friends house. I could not come late, and I worked till late in the evening, so would go straight to my friends house. They would call me a traditional massage service lady from the many available on the internet for a massage at home in the room. This was done 4 times in different days. All of them who came were very traditionally dressed fully covered up. All of them were above 30 years old and not good looking. With two I got hand jobs at the end of the massage and with the third one got full service. The 4 rth one refused to give any additional service. Its not too difficult to get extras even from the traditional massage providers.

One of the days I managed to get out early and visited My Place, which is a relax place for Men, with sauna, hot and cold baths etc. They also have a massage service, which is what I went for. The massage reception was at the first floor. There they offered me a package of 2 hours massage which included shower wash, body scrub and a facial. I took the package with a private room with shower and tub. They charged me 1. 000.000. For the package which is about 70 USD. The girl gave me a nice massage, bath, facial etc. Including a hand job. She said they are not allowed to have full service. She did offer to take off her blouse for additional 500.000 which I found to be ridiculous, so I declined politely. If you have extra time and want to relax without full service, this is a nice place for that.

OS spent the day touring to the East of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta's huge sprawling port complex. It's a low lying coastal area of miles of industry, containers, roads and rubbish. Sitting in a line of container trucks as far as the eye can see are oil stained trucking yards, earthmovers, salvage yards and containers, Here you savour the defining smells of Jakarta. High sulphur diesel exhaust,durians, drains and garbage. For some reason OS has a fascination with this kind of thing, most distressingly the sheer volume of garbage that Indonesians create and this incredible collective abrogation of responsibility for it. Go to any tourist destination in Indonesia and it's like the locals will be having a contest to see who can throw away the most plastic at it. Go to an industrial, or poor community around Jakarta and the waste problem seems overwhelming.

So with nostrils already on edge. OS tracked in and onto the Jalan Cakung drain, a road through some of the city's poorest that varies between 2 meter wide asphalt and corrugated dirt. The road follows the drain which runs from the sea through what must be the garbage / recycling heartland of Jakarta, bonfires to melt down electric motors, a mound of shoe soles bigger than a house to ships lifeboats that some enterprising soul has sailed down the drain and dragged up the bank and then behind that. A backdrop of one of Jakarta's waste mountains and then a huge cemetery in the middle. Jutting out into the cemetery is Rawa Malang, so on one side of the fence are families tending the plots of loved ones and on the other, a collection of alleys with cafe's blaring ear splitting music and girls of varying beauty where you may retire to their room with them and drink and everything else, the days when the wind is blowing towards the garbage mountain are slightly more romantic than when it blows towards you.

OS just had to try this, A tiny 2 M x 1. 5 M ply lined room, dirty mattress on the floor and a bottle of warm beer. Just enough room for OS to take his trousers off. Unfortunately the wind was blowing straight off the mountain but some camphor satchets on the wall fixed that but no aircon. Ita, a pretty 20 yo from Sulawesi was only too happy to take off her clothes when OS asked and shaped right up for the Camera when OS asked take her photo. She was a nice girl somehow installed in some horrendous surroundings. She previously had been working at a bar a couple of kilometers to the North near one of the transport terminals, am not sure whether being moved further down the drain was a promotion or demotion but this is as grim as you will see in Indonesia. For something to look forward to she was going home to Sulawesi for the second part of the fasting month.

Anyway, it was quite nice talking and playing with Ita and indeed, all of the people I spoke to in Rawa Malang but OS really had to be going, so after putting his clothes back on it was down the drain road he went past bags of this and that, dodging goats, cats and chickens untill he found an exit to a concrete road and the relative civilisation of a long row of container trucks.

If it was any other country, Ita would be just that, a pretty 20 yo a nice girl with a nice heart with a whole pile of nice boys wanting to know her. Unfortunately here, she may never get that opportunity for it's a long road to get up and out of a place like Rawa Malang. OS hopes she might make it although she didn't seem to mind it too much.
