I don't use Western Union as they tend to charge more and exchange rates aren't as good. There are a dozen services you can use and are easy to find with a quick internet search. You need her information and make sure it matches her ID, not her bar name. As she will need to show ID picking it up. The only personal information she will need from you is your name and country you're sending from. You will also need to provide a tracking number and amount.

Difficult nowadays because of KYC. Money lenders is still the best way. Most ethnic places have the Indian / Pakistani / Arab money senders. You will most likely need to fill out a form. So, John Doe, so long as you don't need to produce an ID you are ok. Others have gotten fake ones.

Western Union might ask you to show an ID.

You can mail a couple see notes. But best to put in between pages in a book or pamphlet. Webster's paper back dictionary is good for school.

Most agents in the west will want to see some Identification. In Cebu, I just used the equivalent of my Blockbuster card but that would be recognized as bogus back home.

The only method that doesn't require details that I would trust would be give or wire the money to a friend who could in turn give it to her. Of course do you then trust the friend not to receive said benefits? 😠.

I have sent money to the Pi on several occasions, via WU and other routs (into banks), never to a low class woman. If she has the WU method down pat, you will know she ain't no WU virgin. If you can call into as WU branch, you leave no trail. I did it all online. As she most likely has no bank account, you cannot use the cheaper ways.

They require all your personal info and the girl's personal info including phone numbers.

I have used western union and Xoom. It is easy to send and they get info to pick up within minutes. Even if you are in Philippines and go to a local money transfer like mhuillar you need to show them your passport.

They are quite strict at Western Union and other collection centres in terms of what ID they will accept. That being the case, you will need to send the money to a friend or relative who has a valid ID and hope they handover the money to the girl.
