I haven't had that issue in past years but did read here on the forum from other members as well they were getting told it's full early. For me I like to shop, so I like to go in and see what's available and choose what I want.

Just ask a taxi. I tried to look up the exact location from a photo I took on my phone and it shows it's on Transversal 24 near the intersection of Diagonal 25. It's in a residential area and no signs just a White House with pink bricks around the entrance.

First of all, I would like to thank the members of this forum for providing some useful information that helped me roam around Cartagena with friends. I have read through many posts and the information was very useful.

So after reading the forum posts for over a month straight, I was ready for my Cartagena adventure with my amigos. I actually was so excited, I could not sleep the night before my departure.

So we get to CTG airport and it was packed with people, waiting in the line to clear immigration. It took about 2.5 hours as there was a flight landed before ours and there was one that arrived after ours. Very slow immigration but was worth every minute because of so much this city has to offer.

After finishing immigration, got a taxi for 20,000 Colombian pesos (you say 20 mil pesos) to our rented place in old city near all bars and restaurants. We check into our place and get booze and snacks from local grocery store Exito, which was around walking distance. We pre drink at our place and head out to a bar. By the time we finish our drinks and eat, it was around 9 and we head out to Alquimico, which has a roof top bar and great atmosphere and hiphop music playing. We met these beautiful girls who were visiting from Europe, did some dancing and they agreed to come to our place for after party. We ended up smashing them doing 4 some with my colleague. It was my first time but after that there was no shame and it set the tone for rest of the trip of what's coming. We ended the night and girls ended up staying with us till the morning.

Our initial plan for 2nd day was to go on a boat to the islands but had to change it due to personal reasons. So we go about the town and get good meal, head over to playa Hollywood in the noon and rented cabana for 20 pesos. Then negotiated beer price to 6 pesos each with the guy there bringing beer in a cooler with ice. Our bill was like 120 k with everything so keep in mind if you ever go to Hollywood beach. BTW, you will be stormed by vendors at the beach so try to avoid as much you can. So we get our beers and were looking around to find chicas. There were few we saw and picked out the ones we like and they come sit with us. We negotiated 450 k for 3 hours and agreed that our time will start when we get to our place. Girl I got was hot, 21 years, I would rate her 9, Colombian. She gave me a great massage for an hour and then smashed for another hour. Gave me BBBJ and of course covered sex. I was done with her early in 2 hours but gave her agreed amount with tip and she left happily. My friend was not done with his so I just went to pool and relax.

Later on we go out to the dolce after 9 pm. Saw very hot ones, mostly 9's and 10's ratings. Got a table with drinks by dj booth and it started getting packed. I must have tried negotiating with at least 20 girls but they would not budge. Ended up with a cute Venezuelan 27 years. Agreed for 400 k for 3 hours. My amigos pick up theirs but with a little higher amount. We all head out to our place. The girls start music and start dancing with us. They brought their own favors so they kept doing that ll night. Offered me but I declined. Then we head into our pool. We chill in the pool kissing and grinding. Then head over to our room. My friend decides to join and repeat like what we did previous night. The girls agree and we had another 4 some. We swap girls and my friend is done with for the night but I am still going strong. I went for 45 minutes more and I was done. It was a good night and the girls call their taxi and head their home around 4.

Our last night in town. We wake up in the afternoon, get ready and head out to eat. Previous couple days, I got so many numbers of chicas whom I found cute. I end up calling one of the cute one, about 9 rating, to my place, I offer her 250 k for 2 hours as 1 hour massage and 1 hour of sex. Fir she declined and then agrees. She comes over while my friends head over to the beach. I get a good deep tissue massage, it gets very hot and she cranks up the AC. After massage, another great session of smashing. Overall a great time I had here, memorable one, and many thanks goes to this forum. I just wanted give something back and share my experience and hope this info helps anyone who is planning a trip there.

Those the good trips we all hope to have when we land. No drama, no fuss, just fun in the sun jajaja.

That plane landing in front of your plane can be frustrating! This is why I usually take the first available flight and sometimes I get lucky and first but sometimes I land second and its a long wait.

My advice to you, from years of doing Latin America, forget about her WhatApp number. Get her Instagram name. These girls are notorious for loosing their phones or changing their numbers every 3 months. Now the funny thing is that many of these girls are running around with iPhones but they never have iCloud on or back up the Whatsapp contacts. So when the phone gets lost, damaged or stolen they have to get a new one with a new number and loose all their contacts. But to be honest a year from now, if you do return, high chance you will find something new that excites you just a much and you will forget about her. If she's still talking to you after you left CTG start counting the days until she asks you to send money because of an emergency. They can smell when a gringo is new and will try it, I'm not going to lie, I do send a little maybe twice a year per chica (birthday / Christmas) but these are girls I've know for years who hardly charge me when I'm there a few times every year.

Anyone been to isis in the last year? I think it's a new name now. Just thinking of trying different things this trip I never did. Never actually went to it, always avoided hahahahha. Do girls actually dance? Can you chill and have a beer or two?

Definitely going to try hitting up this massage parlor I saw last time near the clock tower. Had some good looking girls. Going in middle of day after lunch. Getting a ok massage and tugged and then walking right out in a busy walking street sounds like fun! Hahaha.

It was jut a black square so I don't know if they put it back up.

I spent this past Sat / Sun / Mon / Tues evenings in CTG. Stayed at one of Juan's places, $75 usd for two bed. It was okay, unspectacular but I'd stay there again mainly for the chica-liberal policy. Visited the clock tower every night. I was physically threatened in attempted robberies two out of four nights. I was also assaulted in an attempted robbery inside a Bogota bar which I will write about shortly in the Bogota subforum. I'll start off this TR with the details of the CTG attempted robberies because I want to keep mongers safe.

I'm slightly above average height and average build. My wingman is small in stature. Both of us are several years younger than the average monger on this board. We are both obvious foreigners in Colombia. We were walking around the walled city about 3 am early Sun, about 3 blocks from Space / LDV. We were approached by a pair of twins. Thin build, 21-ish, pretty, dark hair, had big tatts in middle of chests. They were pretty aggressive in trying to get us to take them back. One kept on hugging me, I had to repeatedly check my pockets each time. They said we could go back to our hotel room or theirs. Which I found awkward. Anyway, after about 10 minutes of resisting their overtures, a local, late 20's, athletic build, maybe 6'2" 210 lbs walks by and asks in English if I have a problem in a hostile tone. I told him no, I don't have a problem. He continues and insists that I look like I have a problem. I again say everything is fine. He continues and one of the twins asks if I know him. I tell her no, and she asks him what his problem is. He answers in Spanish that I owe him drug money. I don't ever touch illegal drugs. I thought that he may have confused me with someone that I resemble that actually did owe him money. But if he is going to front drugs to someone, it will be someone whom he knows well, someone he is not going to confuse with someone else. I think claiming a drug debt was a precursor to a robbery. We walked away casually and he did not pursue.

2nd attempted robbery was early Tues around 3:15 am after the clubs closed. Me and my wing exited the walled city and crossed the street. There is a wide pedestrian walkway that spans the entire block. To the right is a lineup of taxis. To the left are cars and not too many people. We were about halfway down the walkway on the left side waiting for an Uber when we were suddenly surrounded by 6 locals. They were teenagers to early 20's. One said to my wingman, "give me all you got if you don't want problems" in English. A skinny younger kid approached me and said something I did not understand. One of them knocked my phone out of my hand onto the ground near one of the thugs. Surprisingly, the thug didn't attempt to grab it. I quickly lunged for my phone, grabbed it, and we both walked away towards the clock tower where there were more people around. The thugs did not pursue.

Anyway, if you are planning to go to CTG just be careful and stick around the immediate area of the entry to the walled city and Space / LDV. Don't go walking around exploring unless you're part of a larger group.

More details about my trip. On Saturday night, the entrance to the tower was packed with freelancers. Many waving Hi as I walked by. Space and LDV are the places to go. There are also freelancers in Delirium but it's more of a gangsta rap type atmosphere which does not appeal to me. We went to a couple other clubs like Alquimico but they seemed to cater more towards civies. Tu Candela which used to be a freelancer hotspot was dead. Apparently to get a table in Space / LDV you must order a bottle. LDV is way more packed than Space, which is the reason I prefer Space. Both are smaller than I imagined, especially Space. They both looked like regular civie bars-no stage, no pole, no erotic art. You would think you were in a normal neighborhood lounge, except for the young chicas that constantly are smiling at you. They dress normally, in tight dresses, skirts and tops, jeans, sneakers and such. None walk around in lingerie or bare their tits or anything like that. They are way less aggressive than I imagined. Most of them will only smile, the bold ones may approach you and say Hi. I've only encountered a handful that got handsy with me. There was one that piqued my interest, pale skin, kinda squinty eyes, thin with no visible tatts. Her distinctive trait were her bangs, which were a bit too long and partially covered her eyes. Those of you familiar with the recent scene will instantly know who I'm talking about because of her bangs. I saw her 3 nights. The first two nights she was by herself. Just walking outside Space and then dancing by herself inside. I thought it was odd a chica would come down by herself since they almost always hang with their amigas. But then the 3rd night she was with a dark skinned amiga, who motioned me over after catching me numerous times staring at the bang chica. I rarely approach putas so I stayed put. Missed my chance and now feeling some remorse.

Went to PleyClub I think it was Saturday night. They insisted on proof of vaccination upon entry. No cover. About 12 chicas. Just about all of them came by our table to introduce themselves at one point or another. Beers were $200 k iirc. Wasn't too impressed so we left for the torre.

Overall, I love the Space / LDV scene. Being a hardcore Tijuana monger, it is so refreshing to see normal looking putas instead of the sleezy, topless, aggressive putas of Hong Kong and Adelitas. That kind of shit turns me off, some chubby puta just coming up to me grinding then asking for tip even though I was repulsed by the experience. In Space / LDV it feels like a normal bar, but you can have just about any chica you want for a price. They don't nag for drinks or tips. I'd like to go back but no way will I go solo.

And El Paraiso del Marino? Is that a strip club? Or a regular night club type? Google reviews and videos make it look like a club you mingle with girls. Saw one member here posting about it. Would love to know more.

Thanks, I had a great time. I just got their WhatsApp number but I kind of knew that they may change their number and I noticed they are so irresponsible with everything they do. They actually do not have my US number as I got a sim card from there and used that whatsapp number. I didn't want them contact me on my private number. No strings attached.

But you seem to be going there very frequently. I am sure you have decoded how they work and figured out a way to work around them. It was my first time and I really enjoyed it. Maybe time will get me in the loop. I actually followed suggestion and tips from here and I was able to figure out what areas to avoid going and where to go to have fun.

I may not be a good bargainer but got lucky with all the chicas I had the entire time I stayed there. They were all very nice and treated me right, no rushing and very easy going. They did what I asked for and went beyond. Not sure if the chicas there usually this nice or I just got lucky? BTW I am also very friendly person and down to earth.

A freelancer bar is a normal neighborhood lounge or disco that has normally-dressed chicks that will leave with you for money.

I always say if you happen to be in San Diego yes, but no need to make a special trip there when there are much better places. You don't see the European or Australian members of this board making a bee line for Tijuana. If you went to Brazil or Thailand you would probably lose your mind.

Yeah being out 3 am in a foreign city associated with these activities you need to watch yourself. That's all. Know how your leaving the club. Where to get the taxi so your not wandering around. Stay near public spaces. Always have eyes in the back of your head pretty much. I love using a money clip. Keep it in my front pocket with hand over it as I'm pretty much anywhere. Paper copy of.

It gets very shady right outside of the Wall area after 9 pm.

Watch out for drug dealers (cocaine) and corrupt cops looking for the inexperienced tourists. There are plenty of taxis outside of the entrance.
