Greg, I totally agree with you. In my 12 years of doing this, never a bad experience. Is good or it is great! All depend on the chemistry. By the how long will you be in Medellin? I will make my first trip in Mid-December.

Just booked my trip (1st trip) to Medellin Feb 5-10. Paid for room at the Mansion and plane ticket. Looking forward to seeing Geraldine and Wendy and possibly Yamii. Yamii just posted a pic of her and Wendy on facebook so I commented that I, ll see them at the Mansion in feb and it seems like she deleted the comment-I thought that's where the chicas hook up with us-on Facebook. Shold I do a PM next time?

Wendy doesn't normally go to the Mansion unless she is invited by someone.

I apologize for something I have written on another forum / Medellin. However, the most parts of my reports are based on the fact that I have a lot of knowledge about this city. I have spend 14 months here during the last 3 years. I have been critical, but never insulting to other members.
I felt into tourist-traps, that's why, when knowing so such more about it, especially for the newbiemongers who thinks he pays a low price pays the 50-200% more than the paisas. That is my issue.

First time going to Medellin.
After reading this forum, I learned that most people recommend Mansion, especially for newbie, w / o speaking Spanish.
However, I am still a bit hesitant about the Mansion because:
I believe the facility supply around 5-20 girls (the number can vary depending on various factors, #of guests or Aussie's mood etc.). To me, that's kind of risky, and I consider too small selection, regardless.
I prefer to pick the woman from bigger pools. So, I am thinking to stay in normal hotel and hit the clubs every night. I believe many clubs have 50-100 ladies, so I have far greater chance of finding the one I like.
I search the other forums too, but most talk about Mansion type options or rental apartments. I am wondering why not many people staying in regular hotels. I would appreciate any comments regarding my plan.
Off course, I am aware that I will need a local guide. Any recommendation would be grateful.
