Mexican passport and visa
Mexican passport and visa.
This is almost comical. When Mexico initiated the entry visa for pedestrian walk overs last year I paid the fee and got a paper visa good for, I think, 4 months.
Well that 4 months has come and gone a few times but no worry as I show it to the Mexican border patrol staff and they don't even read it just motion to me to go around the left side.
I wonder how long they will just waive me through? This past Saturday I am glad it worked as there must have been 3 busloads of chinos (Chinese), literally about a hundred and fifty getting checked through so its a good thing I got the waive to hang left.
TTM.
P.S. , but saw a bunch of those same chinos parading through HK club a few hours later. How the hell, or why the hell does the HK management allow it. Papaya!
My maiden voyage to Tijuana.
To prepare for my trip, I've read and read, but as always it's never enough. So I have a few questions to ask the senior members here.
Street girls: Wendy, Valentina are the two must see. Prices for ST girls are about 300 pesos for half hour. Sin ropas why multiple posicionces.
HK girls: Lidia, Zuma, Charlene, Sasha. 1,000 pesos for half hour.
I read somewhere that hotel casadas has a special $11 for a room on Tuesday. How does one take advantage of that?
For total la noche, how much do I expect?
If you guys have any girls that you would recommend, please share the wealth. I'll stay from Tuesday afternoon till Wednesday afternoon.
Thanks in advance.
Crossing Northbound at Otay, Driving
Yesterday (Monday), in my car, it took me ELEVEN minutes to reach the end of the Ready Lane at OTAY, around 5:00 PM.
This is a "Ready Lane" in name only. I carry an old, un-chipped passport, and they even appear to accept Mexican passports. (Next time, maybe, I'll ask what's up with that.).
Sentri pass for Sentri lane
I just applied for my sentri pass. Sounds like I will not need the sentri pass to speed up my wait time at the border with the new passport I have. I will only be walking across the border. Is this true? My passport does have the gold box at the bottom center.
Disclaimer: I always drive; pedestrian experiences may vary.
The Sentri lane is by far the fastest lane, but you MUST have a Sentri pass. Try it without one, and CBP will handle it in a way that is both time-consuming and unpleasant.
The Ready Lane AT OTAY accepts ALL USA Passports, chipped or otherwise. I haven't tried San Ysidro's Ready Lane, but I've heard you really need the chip there.
Not true. You need aready CARD
The new passport will allow you to use the ready lane. You could still face a wait sometimes 2 hours or more. The Sentri will put you in a seperate line. Or should I say no line. A Sentri will just about guarantee you will never wait more than 5 minutes. For sure bring the Sentri. On a side note when entering MX at SanYsidro on foot you will still need a passport or passport card. Sentri alone won't do it. So bring both.
You can do what you want.I was never allowed.
