You probably already know about the 60-80 euro Hotel Contel at the end of the block.

Palace has Hotel Fleming right next to it.

There's a hotel on the main road next to Mainhattan about 20 minute walk away.

Nothing near Oase.

If you are passing by it might be worth a gamble.

I recall I did the cheap charlie walk back then. 50 minutes or so, although I did jog also in about 20 minutes too. Weather was great. Was like gym exercise.

One advantage, even with no phone, the hotel can call taxi and you can, of course, return from Oase to hotel and do not have to worry about train connections. Sometimes there was one or no taxi at Friedrichdorf bhf.

There is a big Messe this coming week and I was wondering if anyone has experience if Living Room, and Acapulco Gold are particularly badly affected. I will be using public transport so can't choose GT as an alternative.

Is Heaven 7 in Willich on an up or downswing at the moment? I figure it will not be affected by the Messe.

I advise you to forget about H7. Is it a really big Messe? If you come early in LR and in Aca gold you should be fine, tourists come late. Maybe LR could be crowded on Saturday. If you're into public transportation, Acapulco velbert could be an option. Honestly the trip is not really longer than the trip to Ratingen.

I've had the same experience, even in NRW. The kissing rate is a good thermometer for the amount of good will in an environment: basically, whether the girls like their work and their customer base. 90% to under 50% is saying that the real action has moved elsewhere. The kissing is like an Early Warning System for anyone paying attention.
