Not looking like Jabba the Hut also doesn't hurt.

One of my best HK memories was the World Cup match between Mexico and Germany last World Cup. The game started at 8 AM. It was quite the party in HK especially when Mexico pulled the upset. After the game a bus full of Asian senior citizens came in, men and women. They were having the time of their lives and partying as hard as anyone in HK.
Always pay in pesos.
Treat it like a bar environment and keep testing the situation or situations. Exit if you feel uncomfortable. Be safe.

Ttai1.
Asians are mostly well-liked in HK and Tijuana's bars. Anybody who spends money in the bar and on the girls are well-liked, even well-respected.
Asians also mix well with civie population. Check pictures in civis clubs, you will find large percentages of Asians partying. Quite a few Asians have serious relationships with civies.
Did not see discrimination after CoVid. Everyone is required by security guys to put on their masks to enter the club, but few people wear them inside.

I'm fully vaccinated, I even show my vaccination card to the ladies I bring up.
I also speak some Spanish. I'm also in good shape, decent looking, and decently dressed. I saw other Asians there too when I was there. We bring in good money and are well mannered. We treat the girls nice. So I'm sure they want our business.
I didn't feel mistreated. I used to go to HK before the pandemic and in comparison nothing has changed for me other than mentally I keep thinking they might judge me even though nothing happened to me while there.
I tell them, "yo no soy chino", "estoy seguro, ya recibí la vacuna".

Go and enjoy!
Gals are as beautiful and fun as before Covid.
But, prices for gals are a little higher.

I am from the East Coast. So, when I travel there, I stay at HK for 2 or 3 days; I stop by Las Vegas for a day to play some cards and rest a little bit. With all the news about the 65 years old Asian lady being stomped on in the States, I was a little concern about the attitudes against Asians in Tijuana / HK during Covid.
I'd been to Medellin prior to Covid. The chicas treated me fine when I visit the Casas and the Mansion, but I don't think the locals have seen too many Asians in that part of the world.

Interesting enough there are a number of Mexican-Chinese in Tijuana. I suspect many came from Mexicali and are second of even third generation Mexican-Chinese. I know I've boinked a couple of Chicas that claimed to me one of their grand-parent was Chinese. So Asians are not that foreign in Baja Mexico.
Every ethnic group gets the same measure of enjoyment out of Tijuana.
Chino here. Went to Tijuana 2 weeks ago and I can report I am still alive. Crossed the border twice, Friday and Sun / Monday. Saw few Asians roaming, same amount is before. During. After. Didn't catch any open hostilities, even if girls were scared they probably just wouldn't approach you. All the girls I pulled over to have a drink. Of course were willing and open to the idea. Can't say anyone of the drank faster than normal. Few girls were open to DFK. And all the bar girls I pulled were open to me dining out. Those are all YMMV, so hard to say if there was bias against those perks. Gist of it all. Cash is king. Don't do the obvious. Don't be stupid and start shouting out you're Asian and you have covid. But have seen more and more foreigners from Asia and young Asian bucks around Tijuana. They look like easy prey for the girls.
All right. This is some cheap Charlie stuff. I always get a room at either cascadas or rio. But they make you check out at 1. Maybe 2 pm. Any advice on trying to prolong that check out time until 5? Of course without booking for another night.
But if I do have to book another night, what is another "decent" hotel to stay at in. In zona norte. I was debating just getting another room at hotel above adelitas. But one time I got a room for $20. Afterwards they wanted $50 a night and that was just as much as Cascadas. $50 bucks doesn't seem worth it for 4 hours. I find it better to have a room when you're pulling up girls. And avoid the dredged knocking. Plus girls are less likely to watch the clock. Also I know you can't pull girls from opposing bars. Adelitas should look at changing that rule, that's the main reason I stick to the HK group of bars. I don't go often enough to justify the cost of ViP card. Thanks for any advice in advance or for sharing your practices.
