Liquid Strip in Medellin-Strippers and Lesbian Show this Saturday 19th

1st trip report from newbie to Colombia
Gents,
I just completed my 1st trip to Colombia a couple of weeks ago. I was browsing the Colombia forums before my trip and would like to thank people who input valuable information. The best work I have found come from the maps / lists supplied worldtraveller69 & mattpsyche on all forums so thanks. I tried posting a couple of questions on the board but either received no response or negative ones. At the time it pissed me off but after reading this forum for a few weeks now I can understand the backlash as there is a lot of useless posts. As a newbie the information on here is great, my below post isn't going to be anything new for most people but I thought I would post my report to get some creditability for future requests and information.
I spend 4 nights in Medellin Wed-Sun staying in a 3 bedroom apartment from Poblado rentals with 3 bedroom being the only one available when I booked. I used the managers recommended driver who picked me up from the airport for 72,000 pesos and took me to the apartment and organised Ruben to meet me there with the keys etc. I thought this was the easiest option instead of trying to organise meeting Ruben there myself without a phone. The apartment was great and independent so no problems with bringing girls there as it wasn't in an high rise apartment building. Cable tv, internet and mobile phone were all provided which was nice. It was about to blocks from parque lleras with bars and restaurants. Highly recommended, $105 per night for 1 person.
The 1st night I had dinner and drinks at parquet llares then headed to Phase Dos. 5-10 min cab ride 6000 pesos. I got there around 10:30pm which was way to early on a wed night with myself being the 3rd patron there 10k cover charge still, the catwalk show started around 10:45 or 11ish. This was ok for me as I don't speak Spanish so it gave me time to scope out the place and confirm prices posted on this forum. It wasn't a busy night with the peak having 15-20 patrons with around 25+ girls all of pretty decent quality. Pretty early on in the night I decided on a girl so we had a drink (16k beer + 20k chica drink) and headed next door to the south beach hostel pretty much straight away because of my lack of Spanish. Same prices as on here 170k total (140k to girl & 30k for room) , there are 20 or so rooms all really nice with shower etc, the best onsite facilities I have seen. Really cute 25yr old (Ale) with a little belly fat still from her kid, CBJ and sex included no DATY. Overall a pretty average performance however I think her attitude was bad due to myself being quite drunk. Something new not on here is that you can get an extra hour with the girl for 140k her fee, I tried negotiating down to 100k but she would only go to 120k I wasn't that interested on a repeat so I passed but got her phone number as a backup.
I went back to the club and got my self a half bottle of vodka for maybe 160k can't remember but thought it would be cheaper than buying my drinks and chica drinks. I invited a couple of different girls over and had a few drinks getting a feel for their attitudes and decided on a second girl (21yr, Veronica, blonde hair). Seeing the other girl offered the 2nd hour for cheaper with no room charge I thought I would try my luck and I went to the bar and told the guy who organises the girls payments that I was short of money and asked if I can get the girl to agree to 100k if it would be alright to go next door with no room fee etc. After a couple of minutes of him telling me to use me credit card and me saying I don't have it he finally agreed probably thinking the girl would agree anyway. I went back over and finished the bottle with my selected girl and then I told her in my really poor Spanish that I wanted to go next door but I can't because I only have 100k but if she wants to I can give her that and the club said there would be no room charge. Without hesitating she agreed and we headed to the bar for payment, the guy I think was a bit shocked and tried to argue that I would have to pay the 170k but with a bit of arguing he agreed to uphold the deal and let us go. To my surprise seeing the low price the service was really good and her attitude was great with BJ, DATY and sex all included probably went 10-15min longer than the time as well. Once finished I gave her a tip because she deserved it and the price wasn't the issue I just wanted to see if they would agree, then I grabbed her number and headed home at 2:30ish. 10k pesos taxi.
I got to my apartment and some local guys were outside my apartment eating their food after partying, I got chatting to them being drunk in my broken Spanish and one invited me to head into el centro with him to a club. Being drunk and adventurous I decided what the hell as my brain wasn't really working or thinking for a 6 foot 3 white red head guy this my be a problem a 3am. We jumped in a cab and started heading there the closer we got the worse the neighbourhoods got and the more I thought it was a terrible idea. We Just were just about there when the taxi driver told me that this was a bad area for me to be in this late and I could get in trouble, by this time I was thinking the same so we dropped off the other guy and headed back to my apartment. I live in central America and I think my tolerance is pretty high however I felt pretty unsafe there at that time, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without good Spanish skills and a lot of experience. Needless to say a gave the taxi driver a tip and used him as my driver for the rest of thee trip, he took me there during the day which is safe enough however you can defiantly see why it would be a problem a night without police presence.
The second day not being a casa person and hunger I stuck to the touristy things and again had dinner and drinks in parqueLllares. Not feeling like going to the clubs I partied at bit there and then decided to message both girls from last night and see if they were available. Only one girl responded after about 30min which was Ale who had the average service the night before, but I thought I would give it another try. I asked how much for TLN and how many times and when she would arrive and leave, a lesson I have learnt already is always define these three things or they will try something on especially with limited spanish. She initially wanted 700k for 12am to 5am which is ok because she was seeing if I was a dumb gringo, after a fair bit of messaging back and forth eventually agreed to 400k TLN but she wouldn't budge on the 12am to 5am, the 12 am was because she needed time to get to my place it was 11pm and she had to leave at 5am to get her kids to school. Knowing that I think probably the 400k was high but I just wanted something to come to me and her having to leave for her kid I have no problem with what so ever. Surprisingly she was on time so we had a couple of drink to relax and got to business first with a massage and then into the action again CBJ and no DATY. I have to say her service this night was great with no clock watching and really enjoyable with me getting the business done 3 times before she left at around 4:45 after a shower together.
The 3rd day again after touristy stuff went out to dinner and drinks and then headed to La Isla which is a 20-30min drive and 15-20k pesos. Got there at 11:30pm quite a few people there but the busiest time was around 12:30pm. Not as many people as I expected for a Friday night maybe 30-40 people at the peak so plenty of girls available at the start with maybe 40-50 girls. The layout basically is the runway surrounded by lounges for either 1 or 2 people plus chica's. It was really conformable however being by myself not a place to meet and socialise with other patrons if its your thing, its great for a group or 3 or 4 guys. Drinks were 18k for a corona and 22k for chica drinks. In my opinion the quality of girls weren't as good as Phase Dos or maybe I was too late with the good ones taken. After a few drink I decided to try something different and invited a darker girl over which isn't normally my thing, she wasn't black like in Cartagena but more tanned than the other girls. We had a couple of drinks but she was quite shy and it was hard to communicate, with no better options I decided to go to the onsite facilities. Initially she said it was 250k for the 40min however after reading this forum I knew it was 185k, I found out that that is thee minimum price and particular girls can demand more. With a little more negotiating she agreed to the 185k and we headed to the room which is good and clean however not to the standard of Phase Dos. She was 22 yr old and a little shy at first but she relaxed and we had a good time with uncovered BJ, DATY and sex on the table overall a good experience. After that I decided to head home with no other girls I was interested in trying out.
Last day finished the tourist sights and again went out for dinner however this time I met a group of girls and a couple of guys who were university students who invited me to drink with them so I inclined. We have some drinks and then we headed out to a discotecha, can't remember the name. The girls were really good looking however I wasn't trying anything on only out for a good time which worked in my favour in the end as I ended up taking one home. The best experience of my trip so if I go back I will be defiantly giving a call to see what she is up to.
From my time in Medellin a local non-pro is defiantly the best option but that isn't easy to achieve on a short trip and takes a lot of luck, especially with thee options significantly decreased with limited spanish. Out of thee clubs I enjoyed Phase Dos the most however there isn't anything wrong with La Isla. Generally the people are really helpful and friend however there are places not to go at night which I found out but that is thee same as every city. I hope someone finds something useful even thou I wrote a lot more than I intended.
