Other than that Cartagena is popping! It's still not hard to find fun. I don't find prices any higher than before.

Its was the ISIS Stripclub which is across the street from the KFC next to Space. Lots of my girls tell me they are going there as its more relaxed than the other 3 clubs.

I'll be in Cartagena starting Saturday for about 10 days, hanging at the Playa Hollywood. It's q little like the hotel California. You never know what you going to find there.
Was in Tierra Bomba at Punta Arena on Sunday and it was business as usual. Drinks were flowing with no restrictions despite the Dry Law. No problem. Also I was able to get to Exito before 6 pm on Saturday to stock up on alcohol. Heavy police presence in the city. I was told of some clandestine bars in the city that were serving alcohol.

It was my first time but after that there was no shame and it set the tone for rest of the trip of what's coming. This is really great info. Any chance you mind sharing where you stayed? It'll be my first trip to Cartagena and I am having shit luck finding a place that is guest friendly. Literally every owner I've reached out to is like NO guests, no visitors, building rules. It's frustrating because I am prospecting and already have 3 that are cool with hanging but the damn places are all like nope. Or am I being a noob and this is a rule I can ignore? One of them told me a lot of buildings are not allowing any visitors at all due to covid and that I should look at the Sonesta but man that's far form the city. I would have PM'd ya but it doesn't look like you can accept PMs. Appreciate any tips / info. And yes, I'm ferociously reading as many reports as I can to try and see if I can arrive at an answer. LOL.

You cannot ignore the house rules. They have the right to cancel your reservation and put you out on the street with no refund.
Guest friendly places get booked months in advance.
Always look for houses, not apartments, but since its your first trip you may want something with security incase things get out of hand but most of those places do not allow guests. I know of two in El Laguito that allow guests with security.
Palmetto Beach in Boca Grande allow visitors.
Palmetto Sunset in El Laguito allow visitors but only between 10 am - 9:30 pm and 12 am - 5 am. I would not recommend it but its an option.
Marriot Emrita allows visitors.
Oz Hotel allows visitors but you will be paying American prices, there is a surcharge per chica and its always booked.
I know of a few places around Centro, Getsemani, and El Laguito all visitor friendly no security but they are usually booked and geared more toward a 2 man trip. 2 bedrooms 2/3 bathrooms, pool, etc and priced accordingly.

Long time senior member over at the USA forum traveling to Colombia (hitting MDE first then CTG) starting tomorrow. I've looked all over this thread, the hotels / rental and lists thread but couldn't find any reliable / current information on a decent hotel (non-Airbnb, security, pool / jacuzzi, breakfast, etc) that is chica friendly. I would prefer to stay on / near the beach since this will be my "relaxing" portion of the trip. Would appreciate any advice given and if you are in the area will buy you a few beers! Paid subscription so can accept PM's also.
