I have read a few of your posts and reports.
You have to understand that us white dudes that only speak English might have a little trouble in Vietnam. We dont know the language and its not as setup as some other locations. Lets take for example, Angeles City where you just go make a reservation, throw down your cash and you get some action. Its a no-brainer and everyone speaks English.
As for the unattractive pictures, I do agree that some pictures on here look a little bit rough and I know that there are better looking Asian women then this...however, you have to understand that as a white dude who knows only English, we are going to go to the most obvious place and pick up the women who seem available. These available women might not be the best looking.
So with that said, I am attracted to Vietnamese women. My question to you is this. If you where a white dude who only knew English, where in Vietnam would you go to get some quality action and how much would you pay? What would be your general routine?

Are you talking about beautiful non-pros? If that is so then you might need time to do that or good connections with viet friends or colleagues. I don't think the rules are any different from other countries. I have a friend who, where-ever he goes, he always find cute friends, and his trick is to find a cafe or restaurant where the girls work then frequent.
For beautiful pros, there are many places but prices are usually higher. As you have said, Vietnam's mongering scenes are not as obvious as the PIs or thailand. I don't understand why anyone would come to Vietnam strictly to monger. Many mongerers there are Viet expats, on business trips, or touring.
To each his own but as for me I have my bottom line, to make my little boy happy. Wine and dine a pro to get to her treasure chest is a waste of time and money. Wine and dine a non-pro to get to her treasure chest costs more, add to the possiblity for heart ache. That's a no no!
So what is the mongering scene in Vietnam? What would a guy have to do or go? Just street action?
From reading, I see the hotels are not too friendly when you walk in with a woman.

If you're not Viet, don't know the language, don't have any connections and only staying for a couple days then you have a bit of work to do. Check out the reports of distinction section. You'll find some helpful tips regarding place/pricing there. As a start, you could try the bars near the Bong Sen hotel on Hai Ba Trung in HCMC. It's a common watering hole for punters.
When chatting up the girls there, make sure to bring your negotiating A game. Bear in mind you're not likely to get a GFE, but you'll certainly find a "release" and perhaps even some "horizontal refreshment".
As for a hotel that is GF or not, most places will allow company til around 9-10pm. If you want info on places that allow later visits then try to make friends with the staff, (eg the doorman), tip well and ask around.

The best thing is find the connection in the coffee place for the night. This will be expensive. you're look at 1mil to 1.6mil for the whole night. But i prefer the whole night though because im getting more bang for my buck. pardon the pun. I know im getting at least 3 shots in before she leaves in the morning so. You can also ask her to refer her friends to you as well.

People here are right. it is different to Thailand and other places. With exceptions of course, but on the whole its much more subtle, sort of underground. Probably a function of VN being effectively a police state.
My experience is that if you travel with a girl then you have no problem checking into hotels as a couple. Only in one upmarket resort in NhaTrang did i have to sign some sort of document that we were "married" !
If you have a local girl then the only sure way not to have problems is to book and pay for another room for her. Alternative Mini-hotels that the girls know - well use your instincts. I have never had a problem. Having said that, i have never taken a moto-girl, only girls from various bars.

Some of you guys should try that site.
There is a chat site in there and it is an ideal way to meet VN ladies. All ages from young to old and they have their age groups/locations there.
Also there is one section for English only which is handy.
But if you are in VN you can chat up the girls and get them to meet you. I have met a few there and have had good success. I am a 60 yr old Anglo and I have met a 21 YO girl, a 40YO woman with her own house and business, a 26 YO who still lives with parents and a 50 YO who has her own house and I stayed with her for a week.
It has been very good for me and I recommend it to members.
Don't believe that VN women are standoffish. Once they meet you and you show respect and look after them they are gems. But remember you are a walking ATM to them and you will understand their attitude better. If they want to get a Visa to another country you have to play along a bit so use some guile.

first time to hcm, have been to ben seng hotel district 1, opposite sheraton hotel. don't ask me the road i won't know haha hope my speeling for the hotel is not wrong, because i was brought there by my partner.
went in, if not mistaken is 3rd floor spa. jaguzzi, steambath and sauna with 1 hour massage is usd 9 only. that was cheap. and the service given was great, nice and clean place
then went for the massage, as i see all the girls are young and pretty, i think any one of them are looks 7/10. but this place only offer hj. asking price usd 50, but decline and she agree on usd 30, because they don't earn any money from the spa, purely on tips only.
